Kelly, so proud of you! I’m celebrating your independence with you. Those small steps is a big accomplishment and feels wonderful! On a sad note my sister passed away three days ago. Here cancer got aggressive and she went fast. Spending lots of time with family, which is so good. God has his ways of bringing family together in such difficult times. Continued prayers for you. 💗🙏🤗🩷🩷🩷
Oh Helen! I am so sad that your sister passes away. My heart aches for you that her cancer was so aggressive. I'm glad you were able to spend time with family. That is comforting. My heart continues to be with you as you grieve her loss. I'm so glad you were able to visit her recently. Sending so much love your way and continuing to pray for you and your family.
Such an accomplishment. Step by step you are overcoming many challenges that may seem impossible for many, myself included. I know there's a long road ahead but you are very resilent, you will get there. The best is yet to come, that is for sure! Keep inspiring! 💯
Thank you!!! It was SO thrilling to experience! You will get there! It felt impossible for me too. You will get there. One step at a time, we can do this. Yes! The best is yet to come!! Sending hugs your way.
Kelly your smile is incredible when you know that you have beaten adversity and l don’t know how you do it but it is inspiring. Watching your achievements and triumphs is absolutely encouraging and well done. I was surprised at how easily you turned to look when reversing the car and that is a hurdle jumped. Whilst I battle with my own issues including the recent autism diagnosis it is a blessing to see you share your moments with great resilience and it helps. Say hi to your mum again from Australia and love seeing the dogs. Where would we be without them…🙏🙏
Aw thank you, Steven! That means the world to hear. Yes!! Lots of vestibular exercises helped me get to this point of turning my head backwards like that. One step at a time got me here, and it feels so good. Sending a hug your way as you navigate the autism diagnosis. I imagine it is a lot to take in and a different way to see yourself and your life. I hope that if it isnt now, that someday soon, you can see the diagnosis as empowering bc the more we know about ourselves and how our brain works, the more we can embrace ourselves as who we uniquely are. Your autism is a beautiful part of who you are as a person. Dont' let anyone tell you otherwise. :)
I am not getting vertigo attacks from Meniere's disease as I had a Vestibular Nerve Section. I am still recovering from that surgery and so in certain situations, my brain is still learning to compensate and I do get dizziness. This will continue to happen as my brain re-learns how to exist in every situatino.
Thank you. Bene is safer on the floor than the seat. And also, Bene prefers the floor. He doesn't love being in the car, so he seems to feel the best there as he is more secure.
I wear a vog mask when allergens are high. 4:56 I have very bad allergies and allergy related asthma this time of year, so wearing a mask when I'm out of the house helps me to be less symptomatic. I am wearing a vog mask. More info on wearing these masks for allergens here: www.vogmask.com/pages/allergies

Good job Kelly, really nice to see you
Hey!!! its so good to see you! how are you? Thank you so much. :)
All small steps form a marathon. ❤🎉. Big hugs Marloes
You speak the truth! Every step I've been taking for years has led me here and especially the ones since surgery.
Look at you getting back to it one day at a time . ❤
yay!!
❤❤❤
How much does Bene harness weigh that thing looks super heavy for you to move around ❤
2.5 lbs. Not heavy at all for me. Maybe it is the angle of the camera and the way he had to pull his head out of the harness?
Are you now getting the vertigo attacks
I am not getting vertigo attacks from Meniere's disease as I had a Vestibular Nerve Section. I am still recovering from that surgery and so in certain situations, my brain is still learning to compensate and I do get dizziness. It's good to know I wish you a speedy recovery and also I wanted to know have you experienced hearing loss
thank you. Yes, progressive hearing loss is a part of the Meniere's disease diagnosis. Do you have hearing loss/ Meniere's?
I enjoy following you, however why do you make him sit on the floor?
Thank you. Bene is safer on the floor than the seat. And also, Bene prefers the floor. He doesn't love being in the car, so he seems to feel the best there as he is more secure.
