I got the complete collection as my first time owning everdell. I am glad I have it and am keen to explore all the expansions. So far I have checked out the base game, pearlbrook and mist wood, along with some of the smaller modules like player powers. My main complaint about the box is that the layout of the trays doesn't aid much to the setup of the game... Why are the boards right down the bottom of the box? That is usually the first step to setting up the game right?? I'm considering reworking the order of the trays to make setup easier, or even throwing out one of the plastic trays and building my own foamboard insert within the cardboard holder for the tray... But that is a lot of effort!
Hi Alex, the smaller tree shelf goes above the main trunk in the plastic holder, if you look at the shape in the top plastic cover you will see it. (so in the same orientation as the large tree shelf goes only adjacent, or "above" it,) hope this helps
Hi Alex, I'm not sure if this is a useful tip or not, but anyway, the green animal meeple plastic tray fits neatly into Mistwood base box, and that fits neatly on top of the red resource tray in the orange box.
I remember getting my pledge for Mistwood. There was a card pack included with my pledge. All the cards were meant to replace the Husband and Wife cards so they said Harvester and Gatherer instead. I guess if you wanted to do that you could. You could change out a few cards from the base game and replace them with cards that have inferior art and a new name. The problem I ran into was you kinda had to in order to play Mistwood. There was no reference to Husband and Wife on the cards in Mistwood, only Harvester Gatherer cards were referenced. I reached out to Starling and they said they had a card pack for me to play Mistwood with and that they would ship it out immediately. They shipped out the same exact card pack lol. I sold Mistwood on Ebay and probably won't consider anymore Starling games in the future. Husband and Wife... gimme a break
Gotta say it was just cuter and fit the theme better with husband and wife cards. I miss that in my old copy I gave a friend when I got my complete collection
I appreciate the dedication to organizing the big box in the video! Was it necessary? absolutely not! Was it a good source of entertaining monologue? Oh yeah!!
I'm positive that whoever designed the Complete Box has never needed to set up a game of Everdell in their life. If cars were designed the way the Complete Box was made, we would be entering them through the trunk and would need to take out the engine to put the luggage in.
Hope to see more Everdell content with the expansions you haven't played yet! It was quite funny to see Alex mull through what a station card is. Hopefully he figured it out, it's another space for 3 cards that works similarly to the meadow. Meadow cards, station cards
Would love to hear more of your thoughts especially on the viability of using the humongous box while setting up for a game hahaha. So odd they placed the game boards on the very bottom when that’s the first thing you’re supposed to set up.
Bought the big box on against my better judgement because "value". Luckily, I really enjoy the game. Wish I had the base box sometimes though because that big box is not great for carrying to game night.
I love that you are able to get these games, and are able to describe them with skill. I’m just not sure how you ENJOY any games. If I were you, I’d be numb with all your access. Do you find the excitement of playing games or just obtaining them at this point!?
As someone who absolutely loves Everdell I cant help but ask why there is so much Everdell. Obviously it keeps selling well but theres simply too much!
I skimmed over the time stamps and I don't see a trauma over the stickers time stamp. I don't think my total Everdell play time has managed to catch up to my sticker placing time yet. It really is a good organizer though aside from fighting w/ the tree pieces (again).
Funny that you were confused about what station cards were, found a deck of cards you couldn’t identify, and didn’t consider they could possibly be the station cards. 😂
I would get this. I enjoy everdell and own the base game atlease. But for some reason my 11 year old son HATES this game. Im not sure if its the worker placement, the theme or what. Either way. it looks goegreous and looks complete
The only reason I liked belfaire was the player powers it added but I love spirecrest and new leaf because they add so many extra ways to score. Pearlbrook is okay, and I haven’t been tempted to finally play mistwood
I bought Everdell thinking it would be great. After 4 plays with 2 players I just didn’t enjoy it anytime.. then we played 4 players and what a boring slog that was. Just can’t get into it and I refuse to play it again.

Made it half way and decided I'm gonna watch this while I unbox my Everdell 😂.
Lol that works

Lol I appreciate that :)

Ouch, that's not good

RIDICULOUSLY large box, wow! Was fun to watch you wrangle it, though

When I got mine everything was done already except the Deluxe Resources, the stickers and the card needing to be sleeved.

If Devon could assemble his DEI board on camera you can sticker on camera.
If Devon could do his 16-hour live stream we can have a conversation
Please sticker on camera! I want to play it while I sticker mine!

I'm at 1265 games played this year so far and all I want to do is play more :) I'd say I either enjoy them or I'm a masochist :)
Ty for this rumbling!!
I assumed this video was super old until I saw you holding Farshore.
Lol yes :)
As someone who absolutely loves Everdell I cant help but ask why there is so much Everdell. Obviously it keeps selling well but theres simply too much!
Did you buy any of these boxes...or are they all offered by the publisher?
I bought the original game and expansions myself, and backed the complete collection. Farshore was sent by the publisher.
I skimmed over the time stamps and I don't see a trauma over the stickers time stamp. I don't think my total Everdell play time has managed to catch up to my sticker placing time yet. It really is a good organizer though aside from fighting w/ the tree pieces (again).
I love Everdell. None else in my gaming group does.
It's amazing
I always wondered what you will do with the knife if you don’t like a game 😂
Obviously destroy the game
Funny that you were confused about what station cards were, found a deck of cards you couldn’t identify, and didn’t consider they could possibly be the station cards. 😂
lol fair

this looks like a good reason not to get anymore expansions. I only have Spirecrest and that seems good enough for me.
The only reason I liked belfaire was the player powers it added but I love spirecrest and new leaf because they add so many extra ways to score. Pearlbrook is okay, and I haven’t been tempted to finally play mistwood
I only have the base game and I'm perfectly fine with that.
First!
Welcome aboard 🙂

Pity. My wife and I enjoy it as a 2 player count.
I usually play solo. 4 people was hard with downtime and 2 was good.
