We went to LEGOLAND New York for LEGO 2K Drive Community Day earlier this month and had an amazing time! We met so many amazing content creators, LEGO Masters, gamers, and got to know more of the 2K Games team! While we were there, we had a LEGO 2K Drive tournament and also had the opportunity to go LEGO shopping in the LEGOLAND LEGO Store! Ryan Trahan and Haley Pham went LEGO shopping with us and we were able to convince them to buy their first ever LEGO sets!

As a fellow AFOL I have a core memory of buying my first set in 2017. I'd started in 2015 with Mega Construx Minion sets (before Lego had the rights to it). Own and built all of those sets. Then fell down the rabbit hole of lego friends. I am now building a city that I will open to the public (because Lego sitting in a box is just plain sad and we have NOTHING like this anywhere near us).

I loved Ross’s detailed explanation of the different themes. I feel like I learned something new today lol. At 13:38 over Ross’s shoulder there is a spiny thing spinning in the background. Any idea what that was?🧐
The spinning thing is a camera setup. It spins around fast to get a cool shot of the person/people standing in the middle of it. They are used a lot at events that creators get invited to.

Hello you guys! I've been watching your videos for a little while now, and decided to finally subscribe, you have great content in your vids, very fun and entertaining, I have a couple a Lego sets at home, wish I could get more, but space and money issues are certainly the worst enemies of a Lego collector (or collectors in general!), I went to a recently opened Lego Store in my area and loved it fully, very cool sets that you can't always find in other stores like Walmart or Toys R Us, and I found another store that has even more Lego sets, mind-blowned to say the least! It was cool to see you introduce Lego to people who never got any sets, I can only imagine how surprised and overwhelmed they must have been! I've been a fan of Lego since my tender youth, especially the Lego Classic Space like most older fans! I'm looking to buy that Lego Explorer ship, hopefully soon! Keep up the good work, Emily and Ross!
