It is true that no power in Heaven or on Earth can pluck you out of the hand of God, however, we can take ourselves out of the Grace of God. I do believe that you can only be truly saved one time. But, you can "loose" your salvation, if we you WILLFULLY sin. The Bible teaches that that "(Hebrews 10:26) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins."
He was speaking to the Jews in Hebrews the Jews was still going by the law and he was telling them Jesus is come to pay for mans sin it’s no longer just the law you have to follow but have to follow Jesus. They preached that and the Jews knew the truth and knew who Jesus was but instead of following Jesus they continued to follow the law and continued in sin. They received and heard the truth but continued to live the same life they was living.
Tounges isn’t part of salvation or a sign of it. 1Co 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? The Bible plainly teaches this, secondly 1Co 14:27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret. 1Co 14:28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. Tongues just means another language not act like one is mad. Confusion is of the devil not God
This scripture plainly shows that if we willfully sin then there is no sacrifice of sins, i.e. we backslide. Since our supreme sacrifice is Jesus Christ, he remains no more, that is, if we willfully sin. If we do willfully sin, then we must come to Christ and ask for forgiveness, to keep from going to Hell.
The willful sin mentioned in Hebrews 10 is (even after having knowledge that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and that when it comes to being accepted with God, Jesus Christ's sacrifice is also the only acceptable sacrifice), to willfully reject the Lord Jesus Christ, and his once and for all sacrifice for sins, and instead resort back to the old testament law, and it's animals sacrifice... If Hebrews 10 means what you think it means. Than every believer is toast. Because no believer has yet to cease from all willful sin... Not promoting sin. It's just the truth.
