Just a note on Vick: He never played West of the Mississippi river and this was something that came out when he was a free agent. As to possible teams he might go to. So this very well could hold true for how he feels about coaching
Vick interned with Kansas City Chiefs under Andy Reid Also coached Under Armour HS All-American and 7 on 7 camps So, he will need a strong and experienced coaching staff
Michael Vick gets Mad Crazy Respect from young football players. Even without Prime’s personality Vick will be able to recruit top HS talent This is Huge for Norfolk State
Big misconception about Vick's "past mistakes" ... The standard narrative is that he was facilitating a dog-fighting operation - that's all, right? WRONG! ... he was also systematically torturing dogs ...
Around the 0:25 mark “what is that FBS” then one of the guys on the show backs it up 🤦♂️ lol got it wrong twice. This is supposed to be higher level sports coverage how do you get that wrong? Lol
*Dan Patrick - this headline feels PATENTLY racist* Dude, how can a STARTING NFL Quarterback who finished SECOND IN THE NFL MVP VOTING as a Philadelphia Eagle not be (qualified) to coach at Sacramento State or Norfolk State, sir? I mean... Virginia Tech, maybe too much. But it is so insulting and you are INFERRING mental inferiority by questioning if a black quarterback can coach in college or not. It is insulting.
I watched the video 2 times. No where in it did I feel racist. The title is meant to attract peoples attention! But I will say an great player does not make you a good Head Coach! I am a Vick fan. And liked what I heard the pitch was. Which the school would help or put a good coaching staff around him. He will be the face and add his input and if the passion to coach is there he will learn and get better along the way.
He's not questioning Vick's intelligence. He's questioning his lack of coaching experience. Jeff Saturday was an all-pro as a player and he sucked as a coach. Coaching and playing are two different things. Stop this race-baiting whining, it's embarrassing.
I’m not sure that’s what Dan was inferring. More about lack of coaching experience Note that Vick has coached 7 on 7 camps, interned with the Chiefs and worked with the Under Armor game

He doesn’t have coaching experience. Nobody knows if he could be a good coach. A lot of great players are not good coaches.
Relax
