similar thing here, I play at a pretty decent level and can compete against most sweats, but I don’t find it ‘fun’ because it’s frustrating going against people that constantly sweat (particularly due to the aggressive SBMM) and the better I do, the worse the lobbies get which means I tend to stay in sweat lobbies. Warzone and DMZ, even with their issues, are pretty dang fun though. I’ll probably move onto those as my main gameplay after getting weapons leveled up and the camos I like
Something that really bothers me is when I play games and guns that shoot the exact same caliber ammunition have drastically different damage. I wish more games included this realism.
@@notagoodsitrep Then not every sniper or MG has to be 50 BMG. They could easily make the vehicle machine guns be something in 7.62 NATO, and also make use of snipers in .338 Lapua or whatever other calibers that exist.

But it shared a caliber with the M-14 and G3 semi-auto rifles, meaning that either the G3 becomes a one shotting laser beam or the iconic sniper becomes useless. Further, even if devs made sniper rifles always have a larger caliber than any other primary, that would massively limit weapon variety and all but ruin historical settings as either the iconic bolt action rifles never get included or many other iconic self loading weapons never get in (the M1 Garand and M1918 BAR had the same caliber as the M1903 bolt action; the MG42 & G43 share calibers with the kar98k; Lee-Enfield, Lewis MG, Bren MG and Vickers MG are all in 303). Balance and variety always trumps realism in more mainstream fps games. You don't know what you are talking about.

That's a fair playstyle in my opinion. For some reason, everybody thinks that Call of Duty is a sprinting and shooting game, but it's not. The map is a sandbox and you need to kill the enemies and get the objectives, that's all, you should do whatever you want to obtain it.

Everyone was playing for fun with sometime 1 big try harder (who was often a 15 year old timmy) Now games are streamed by 300 streamers, and their goal is to make everything faster. So they run run run run kill kill die and repeat. Doesnt mater if they dont have 1% of fun, gameplay need to be "fast" for viewers. The result is a, viewer think is the way to play and a ton of ppl want to play like them. But Try to justify the fact that running, making 1/2 kills, dying, repeat is smarter/funnier than playing tactical and kill 3/4 ppl / death, get more fun, help the team 10x more.
I have filtered only objective based modes in quick play and focus only on objectives. That way, even if you die a lot... You feel good when your team wins. And you are above other players on the scoreboard too.
Change the game you play. The one I play you can play dead, get up in tree branches, camouflage, do it with your squad. 8 man squads, 50 vs 50 per team. Tanks, jets, APC, jeeps, logistics trucks, transport and attack choppers. Commander UAV. Super FOBs with AA, TOW, 50 machine guns and foxholes. Big armor brigade tactics.
I’m just happy that we’re going to have ShootHouse and shipment for season 1. The grinding will become much easier. It’s kind of a mess having to use one gun to get an attachment for another.
This actually takes me back to my college of the days I used to do something similar, but I would have Kimbo shotguns lever action and then I would run what I call a train where I just run around in a circle in a certain part of the map and there will always be people somewhere along the route and just keep doing that over and over That being said car isn’t for me anymore. I’m glad that you’re a variety streamer and you’ll play it so I can be reminded of things like this.
I would play this game the same way I would play either Battlefield 4 or Insurgency Sandstorm. Stick to cover, switch cover quickly, check corners, utilize vehicles as much as possible, squad up and rely on teamwork.

Hey man, been watching you for a while and picked up MW2 For myself, id say the way to play is inbetween this and last videos style, dont camp around but dont jump around corners, just Run and ADS while coming around a corner, Damage isnt the main thing here, you could win SMG VS AR if you Aimed First. kind of hard to get used to but still rotate as much as possible, just peek corners carefully and be slow paced with room clearing :)

ive noticed the bolt action marksman and sniper rifles based on the spr reciever are ridiculously inconsistent. I can one hit kill someone one moment, miss 5 perfectly aimed shots the next, and finally take 3 bullets to down an enemy at point blank, all with the exact same gun and attachments.

My very first game I went 27-7 and had like a 12 killstreak. I’m level 5 and have been 1.0 twice since then while playing in lobbies filled with level 55’s. This and MW19 are the only CoDs where I feel like I’m just straight up trash and there’s nothing I can do about it
When the game launched everyone was running around clueless and you could get some kills now theres just 4 people in a corner with MGs claymores and shields
My tactic is 'lockdown' where I maintain dominion over a large area rather than camp inside a single room. It's basically camping on a larger scale and I don't always do it.

When I started playing MW2 I was also being in the bottom of the scoreboard. But after some getting used to, finding the metas and being just a little sweaty I now am between 1st-3rd position on the scoreboard all the time except when the SBMM nonsense kicks in and I get into a sweaty streamer shitfest and get anihilated. I'm a casual player after all.
played 2,5h but cant get myself to level up some weapons for warzone. enjoying my time in WW3. The infantry combat is more COD than the new Cod without dumb aim assist and SBMM.
I hate the sentinel playstyle, but I can get behind a slow sentinel that moves around slow and methodically. Sometimes, you gotta put a pause on the rusher and take a slow approach.
I hear all the time to play "sentinel" style, but whenever I do, I always get matched with the sweats who hop around on one leg double timing with the gun in the air shooting into the sky and the bullets drop straight on to my head. Just can't win with this cod 😂
i'm playing cod since 2001 and these guys calling ppl "camper" always make me laugh. I saw the same kind of reasoning watching many streamer in warzone, running around like dumbass, then dying after X kills because they are in the middle of a fucking danger zone, what the logic here ? That's why i loved watching iron and other tactical gamers. I also play tactical and smart in all the cod i'v played since 5 years, and god, it's so much fun, especially in domination. You have actually to use your brain, try to understand the spawn, covering your team. Way funnier than running like a mad mad with slide canceling and dying after 2 kills for 20min. If you have some friends, it's even better
I'm sure that the CDL pros is having way more understanding of the spawn than you and they also have the 10x the amount of moving distance than you lmao.
I do like that you have to slow down a bit in this game but the matchmaking and bugs and things like that make this game almost unplayable for the time
If you are tac sprinting with your gun straight up in the air, through every doorway, objective and choke point, you better have a very fast sprint to fire time or you’ll get killed. What do people expect?

This game has a crazy amount of hackers and they make it so obvious too. Apparently the game blacklisted you if you get reported 5 times. Once you are blacklisted you play against other people that are blacklisted, the problem arrives when you get false reports which would lead to you being forced in these kinds of lobby with hackers left and right. It happened to me and I'm having a horrible time. Also, for you to get un- blacklisted you have to wait 7 days for their AI to review your gameplay. Overall, the game is really fun but the hackers are a major turn off.
this games problem is it tries to be insurgency sandstorm, but is so inconsistent with movement, time to kill, weapon caliber and attachments, that it just doesn't work.

I hopped into a game and angered a couple ten year olds and they started cussing me out and throwing a tantrum after I killed them a few times(They were rushing around the map and I was taking my time, checking my corners, and keeping my aim up). It made me laugh so hard that I started fumbling my K/D and ended up having to leave the game to laugh it off. If my mother had caught me talking the way those two squeakers were talking she'd have busted my ass and grounded me to my room for a month. Lmao

When I started playing MW2 I was also being in the bottom of the scoreboard. But after some getting used to, finding the metas and being just a little sweaty I now am between 1st-3rd position on the scoreboard all the time except when the SBMM nonsense kicks in and I get into a sweaty streamer shitfest and get anihilated. I'm a casual player after all.
played 2,5h but cant get myself to level up some weapons for warzone. enjoying my time in WW3. The infantry combat is more COD than the new Cod without dumb aim assist and SBMM.

Hey TBAG, I would recommend you try out the spec ops, just played it recently, it's insane. But do bring a friend along if you can, more fun that way.
I hate the sentinel playstyle, but I can get behind a slow sentinel that moves around slow and methodically.
Sometimes, you gotta put a pause on the rusher and take a slow approach.
Id rather go to sleep tbh

I hear all the time to play "sentinel" style, but whenever I do, I always get matched with the sweats who hop around on one leg double timing with the gun in the air shooting into the sky and the bullets drop straight on to my head. Just can't win with this cod 😂
i'm playing cod since 2001 and these guys calling ppl "camper" always make me laugh. I saw the same kind of reasoning watching many streamer in warzone, running around like dumbass, then dying after X kills because they are in the middle of a fucking danger zone, what the logic here ?
That's why i loved watching iron and other tactical gamers. I also play tactical and smart in all the cod i'v played since 5 years, and god, it's so much fun, especially in domination. You have actually to use your brain, try to understand the spawn, covering your team. Way funnier than running like a mad mad with slide canceling and dying after 2 kills for 20min.
If you have some friends, it's even better
I'm sure that the CDL pros is having way more understanding of the spawn than you and they also have the 10x the amount of moving distance than you lmao.

Sentinel gameplay is just more realistic call of duty. The slow movement, holding angles, etc.
Camping or "tactical" play in COD means only bunny hopping twice every second instead of three times!

I do like that you have to slow down a bit in this game but the matchmaking and bugs and things like that make this game almost unplayable for the time

If you are tac sprinting with your gun straight up in the air, through every doorway, objective and choke point, you better have a very fast sprint to fire time or you’ll get killed. What do people expect?

The new system "unlock this gun to get that gun" and "unlock this level of that gun to unlock the grip for the other gun" fucks me up so hard. I want to play this gun with those attachments but cod said no🙃
Try 3rd Person view gameplay, it makes more fun than normal modes.

This game has a crazy amount of hackers and they make it so obvious too. Apparently the game blacklisted you if you get reported 5 times. Once you are blacklisted you play against other people that are blacklisted, the problem arrives when you get false reports which would lead to you being forced in these kinds of lobby with hackers left and right. It happened to me and I'm having a horrible time. Also, for you to get un- blacklisted you have to wait 7 days for their AI to review your gameplay. Overall, the game is really fun but the hackers are a major turn off.

this games problem is it tries to be insurgency sandstorm, but is so inconsistent with movement, time to kill, weapon caliber and attachments, that it just doesn't work.

I hopped into a game and angered a couple ten year olds and they started cussing me out and throwing a tantrum after I killed them a few times(They were rushing around the map and I was taking my time, checking my corners, and keeping my aim up). It made me laugh so hard that I started fumbling my K/D and ended up having to leave the game to laugh it off. If my mother had caught me talking the way those two squeakers were talking she'd have busted my ass and grounded me to my room for a month. Lmao
