Spring day please.. RM wrote the song while thinking of missing friends and comfort people.. and spring day won song of the year at melon music award 2017
you listened to like 1% of their whole discography. those are just title tracks, promoted songs with mv, played and overplayed on radios and shows, with concepts that not everyone would like. but bts title tracks are so good that basically everyone like them... *imagine their songs in the albums: another level* the one playing piano during that pause it's a bts member: SUGA. rapper, producer, songwriter, composer and he plays piano too
Suga does play the piano, and has even composed a song to it (First Love). However, in the BS&T video, that's an ORGAN he's "playing". And the classical piece that's played is by Buxtehude (17th century), a Danish-German composer, who influenced Bach. The piece is actually played by the character Pistorius in the novel "Demian" (1919) by Hermann Hesse (German novelist and Nobel prize winner, and a Jungian to boot). As Army knows (but Sammy may not), the MV is heavily based on this novel, which is interwoven with many themes and motifs from Jungian psychoanalysis. BTS' current era, the MOTS era, is based on Jungian theories of the structure and function of the human psyche (Persona, Ego, Shadow, Self, etc.). Here we see that back in the WINGS era (2016) BTS were already being influenced by Jung and his theories through Hesse's novel. Hesse went through Jungian analysis, and became a personal friend of Jung's. The intellectual background of BTS' art spans centuries. Two of the paintings shown in the MV are by Breughel (16th century), the quote above the mirror is from Nietzsche. Ancient Greek mythology is apparent throughout, and the black-winged creature is probably meant to be Abraxas, a gnostic divinity who combines good with evil, figures importantly in Hesse's Demian, and in some of the short films created to accompany the BTS solo songs on WINGS (he can be seen most clearly on the wallpaper in Jin's "Awake" and V is scratching his name on a wall in his "Stigma" before he is arrested). Rabbithole? Nah, it's a huge abyss, leading to the underworld of the collective unconscious. "The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. That God's name is Abraxas." - Max Demian (as read by RM at the beginning of the "Awake" film) "One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star." - Nietzsche (in Also Sprach Zarathustra) ###

Hi, They are not singing "money" as in $ - they are singing they want "more." The wings foreshadow their new album. (Still recommend you look at "We On" and "I'm A Born Singer" just for yourself. ) I like your take on the videos as someone who just discovered them. Jeanine Harkonen-Rohlke I don’t get why people think they sing money when the captions literally says more.... it shows they often don’t even read the lyrics
A lot of people think that if something sounds like English, then it must be English. English, as we all know, is the mother-tongue of the universe, spoken by God itself. Sad, but true. When FAKE LOVE was released in the US, I understand BTS felt they had to change the Korean lyrics, because the Korean words 니가 (niga) and 네가 (nega) sound approximately like the forbidden word "ni**er". They did this to avoid causing potential offense. Sad, but a typical response for BTS, ever respectful and considerate. I'm sure they were correct to do so - I've actually seen a reaction video where the reactors to Fake Love assumed they were singing the forbidden word (they didn't seem very bright). I don't know it it is still there. ###
@@eupetrosarktou7866 no, BTS themselves just chose to change that word when they performed Fake Love on American TV (i think it was on the AMA's but I'm not sure). they weren't forced to, they just chose to do so to avoid any type of controversies they could get (but they weren't accused of anything, they did this to avoid the possibility), and out of respect since it sounds like an offensive word (and most people watching them wouldn't know what they were actually singing). There’s been a lot of great theories about this era, their music and MVs. You’ve got to check out different theories, watch MVs and listen to albums from their debut in order. This particular MV is deeply rooted in Demian by Hermann Hesse, but it’s a rabbit hole the more you dig in... and next thing you know, you will probably find yourself a serious army. This is, of course, a totally separate obsession from all of their dance practices, their festas, bon voyage, mind blowing end of year award show performances, BTS runs, and mix tapes. Personally I’ve succumbed to BTS (and JIMIN) while listening to, deciphering their lyrics and watching their choreography on none other than “Spring Day”. 🙏🏼
If you want to learn their names then you should watch “Who is BTS? The Seven members of BANGTAN. It’s kind of the introductory video that almost every new ARMY watches. It’s a older video but it will give you a General overview of all the members and what their roles are in the group. Also don’t worry about cutting the length of the reaction, ARMY’s have no problem with watching long BTS content. 💜💜💜
There is a whole lot of theories for this music video itself. It would be a disservice to just pick one theory. But the main themes are temptation and chaos. From there, you can run with this video really.

I'm glad you enjoyed listening to BTS songs. I think you really like music!😁 I can feel you enjoy all the music. and I really like your reaction video. BTS have a fictional storyline that runs through their music videos. This song is from the wings album which mainly talks about sin and temptation hence the black wings on the statue etc etc. It talks about how each member gets tempted by something and bc of that their lives start going downhill. When Jin kisses the statue it means he “sealed a deal with the devil” and also V is that devil that’s why when we got a close up on him his back had scars that look like there had just been wings there (or so I’ve heard from theory videos) and after these traumatic things that happen in their lives, they try to find love. But it isn’t true love hence the song fake love. In the next set of album series (love yourself) they find out that to love others you must love yourself first. But now that love yourself era is over we have the new map of the soul era including black swan and on (I recommend u listen to the whole album bc it’s an experience) But it’s a lot to know and follow along with so it’s okay if you don’t get it at first. I love your reactions btw and can’t wait to see more videos 😁😁
I just found your channel yesterday, and I love it. You are giving them such a fair, unbiased chance and being so lovely and respectful. It's incredibly refreshing to see someone actually falling into the wormhole because they enjoy BTS' music, message, and the amazing members. So many UA-camrs simply 'react' to get views, and end up milking it. So thank you and keep up what you're doing.
I have a suggestion! You can react to their MV and 1 live performance for every MV you watch. Also, dont feel burdened to learn their names. As long as you guinenely enjoy their music and performance, learning names can always be done later.
True, I don't know why people want to stress him with that, I literally had to binge watch introduction and individual videos for 3 days in order to tell their names correctly ! I don't expect him to tell them apart with only 5 or 6 MVs...
@@shane8408 Well, when I say I did binge watching I do not exaggerate, I promised to my daughter I'll know their names and faces before we go to the concert, so I was very focused, and she helped me too... but some people have it harder than others ;-)
Honestly you've been really respectful and it's so nice to see someone who appreciates the detail and hard work they put into their music/videos. Also don't worry about not knowing the names yet, it took me like a month to learn them
That's what's best about bts they are creative and full of surprises so it's always looking forward seeing their performance, and their energy is really high level

Since you’re interested in video production you can check out some Behind the Scenes and to point out a member you should watch a Guide about the group
yo i came jumping. this era was ICONIC!! i love your bts reactions can't wait for next videos. there are good guides about the members, good and emotional contents about their music, and also crack videos by fans. i really want you to react to them in the future. thank you soooo much💜 sending love and support from Italy :)
So there is a fictional storyline (we call it Bangtan Universe) that runs throughout BTS's music videos, short films, on-stage VCRs,... since their Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa/HYYH (translated as The most beautiful moment in life) era back in 2015. The story is very deep and meaningful and is still on-going. Every single details, even the smallest (such as a flower, a butterfly, a picture, etc.) can have a meaning behind and tell a whole thing. If you want to really understand what this MV means, you should see their older MVs and short films to figure out the story yourself. After that, you may watch Xceleste's theory summary to know better. This is the order of the MVs and short films you should follow: - I NEED U MV (19+ version… the censored version cuts out a lot of the storyline) - On Stage: Prologue VCR (with english subtitles) - Run MV - Epilogue: Young Forever MV - WINGS short films ( Make sure to find versions with English subtitles!) - Blood Sweat & Tears MV - Love Yourself Highlight Reels ( there are 3 parts) - Euphoria MV - Fake Love teasers - Fake Love MV - Epiphany MV You can look up the theories of each MV to understand better. After finishing these, you can read the webtoon (korean comic) *Save Me* , it's an official collab between BigHit ent and the comic writer Lico. This webtoon basically tells the story behind everything but it's not finished yet.
Demian was my favorite book and then the wings came out , and i was like WHAT THE HELL..?! that's why wings is my favorite album since i became an Army (2014)..
The fact he keeps saying every reaction that is now his favorite song 😂 SAME It's so hard to choose just one favorite song and he have not listened to their b-side songs yet 😶😂💜
Blood, Sweat and Tears is the song that pulled me deep down the BTS wormhole! Hearing Jimin at the beginning and then looking like he was holding my heart in his hand killed me and now he's been my bias since then! We had the same expression and goosebumps! Welcome to the BTS world Sammy!
this song and the whole concept of the "wings" album are take a reference from herman hesse novel "demian". BTS loves to make a reference from a famous literature. the whole concept of "map of the soul" album is from carl jung famous book "map of the soul" if you read the book, you'll see the meaning behind their mv, the song the lyrics, and the concept itself. yes, BTS is a musician who make the fans or the listeners smarter by reading a book 😂😂
This song is actually about loosing innocence in the youth and temptations of the world. It's actually based on different stories and book. You should watch the explanation
Blood, Sweat and Tears is tremendously and undeniably BEAUTIFUL, but what's really beautiful is the meaning behind the music video, which is basically linked to their whole albums, is that this MV is based on Hermann Hesse novel "Damian: The Story of Emil Sinclair's Youth", which speaks about this boy and his struggles that he faces along his life, while he grows up from a little child to a fine man, between the two world, the world of illusion, which contains the safe world that his family provides him, between the house walls, and the real world, the outside world, where innocent people die and humans always intend to do bad things. The whole point is that all of the BTS's albums are linked with each-other through this story of seven guys, who's friendship is so pure and strong, meanwhile their personal lives are a huge mess and shattered, while growing up, they start to drift apart from each-other, trying to fight their own demons, but never forgetting their group of friends and going through a tough journey to discover themselves...
Don't stress about learning their names. People pick things up differently, it's okay if you don't instantly memorize seven foreign names. I found that after a month or two it just started sticking.
Time they appear in who appears : 2:26 : Jimin 2:44 : Jungkook 3:06 : Suga 3:15 : RM 4:11 : J-Hope 4:23 : Taehyung (this part is the killer part) 10:09 : Jin (clear shot of his face :] )
React to the cyphers (they’re a series of raps dedicated to the haters with just the rap line RM, SUGA and J HOPE) YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED believe me. And I love ur reactions 💯💯
welcome to the fam haha i'd recommend checking out their hidden tracks-Path (from 2cool4skool) and Sea (from Love Yourself: Her)-as well (find videos with colour coded lyrics and english translations)!
It's open to a lot of interpretations but for me, the MV is all about the temptation of evil and lost of innocence, stuff like that. But really it can mean anything, that's the beauty of it.
please allow me to speak my praises about their HYYH era. bts had an entire period of their music videos where everything was set in this fictional universe where they themselves were the characters. the era is abbreviated as HYYH (hwa yong yeon hwa, translated to mean "the most beautiful moment in life") and its a trilogy of albums, but the music videos from this era are all SUPER heavy on the symbolism and storytelling, they're all very beautiful and actually pretty dark at times. they're all also connected, and there is a running story that jumps forward and back in time. this is my favorite era of their music, because its just so sentimental and I remember when the videos were coming out, everyone had theories about what certain things mean, and its why army tend to overanalyze everything, because literally everything was connected in some way. theres also a saying that hyyh never ended, because some of the symbolism from it continues to appear in their videos. Anyway, HYYH was an amazing era but it gets overlooked because it was before they got famous worldwide.
RM is the Leader, and Main Rapper Jin is a Vocalist, and a Visual Suga is the Lead Rapper, J-Hope is Main Dancer, Rapper, and Sub-Vocalist Jimin is Main Dancer, and Lead Vocalist V is Lead Dancer, Vocalist, Visual, and Face Of The Group Jungkook is Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Rapper, Center, and Maknae All the members are Composers and Producers for making their own music, they play a big role.

I think it was mentioned somewhere that this video is based on “Demian” the novel of Herman Hesse. The wings belongs to the bird which Hesse talks about in his novel. The bird is associated in the meaning of ‘birth’ that one has to go through in order to be born again. Very philosophical 🥰
This is one of their most symbolic videos. You chose the perfect one. A lot of their videos are part of a storyline they have. This song is also connected with black swan

PLEASE REACT TO WHO IS BTS
Iee Duhh, he already did
@@silkkenn oops! I thinki missed it 🤦🏻♀️
Honestly, the best way to understand the bts lore is to watch ppl's theory videos about their MVs on yt or read the webtoon they came out with a few years back
I'm glad you enjoyed listening to BTS songs. I think you really like music!😁 I can feel you enjoy all the music. and I really like your reaction video.
The first vocal is JIMIN, and if you like his voice, I recommend his solo song, . I know you're still enjoying BTS songs, but their solo songs are great, too.😆👍
"My guy RM there"
"I don't know their names yet"
What I wanted to say is when I started listening to them before becoming an army the only name I knew was of my bias(Taehyung-V).So yeah it happens no problem🤭
DOPE MV
FIRE MV
NOW THEIR LIVE PERFORMANCE!!!
BTS MMA 2019
BTS MMA 2018
But now that love yourself era is over we have the new map of the soul era including black swan and on (I recommend u listen to the whole album bc it’s an experience)
But it’s a lot to know and follow along with so it’s okay if you don’t get it at first.
I like how he goes every time: RM dude I’m not ready for you.
Then he goes back
Hahahah i love how, whenever you see RM, you pause and go back 😂😂
I do the same thing lol, also with Suga, and Tae and JK mostly. lol
I have a suggestion!
You can react to their MV and 1 live performance for every MV you watch.
Also, dont feel burdened to learn their names. As long as you guinenely enjoy their music and performance, learning names can always be done later.
Best comment. The names will come. Bangtan heart is in their music. Love them through the art they're slaving over first.
True, I don't know why people want to stress him with that, I literally had to binge watch introduction and individual videos for 3 days in order to tell their names correctly ! I don't expect him to tell them apart with only 5 or 6 MVs...
@@barbara1483 definitely took me more than a few days lol
@@shane8408 Well, when I say I did binge watching I do not exaggerate, I promised to my daughter I'll know their names and faces before we go to the concert, so I was very focused, and she helped me too... but some people have it harder than others ;-)
Honestly you've been really respectful and it's so nice to see someone who appreciates the detail and hard work they put into their music/videos.
Also don't worry about not knowing the names yet, it took me like a month to learn them
That's what's best about bts they are creative and full of surprises so it's always looking forward seeing their performance, and their energy is really high level
Someone, someone please get him on the train to the BTS fictional Universe. The storyline is gonna blow his mind.
Not until he knows who is who. It is confusing enough without mixing up the different members
Firstly he gotta know all the members names.. And who is who
It's too early. . He doesn't apart them yet. . 😅😅
True but I want to see his mind completely get blown. We can still hint in the general idea of there being a fictional BTS universe
Skib khan I know the names) I want to know about the universe now) what’s is the best resisters?
You definitely should react to BTS's NOT TODAY mv after this.Who's with me???🙋
I'm jealous because everyday is bts comebacks for you 😂
I just love how everyone falls for bts... like..it's just imposible not to do it...😊😊💜
Jimin has a very beautiful voice texture. You can see Serendipity and lie, his solos
Everything has meaning. Even the flowers they use. Seriously insane!!!
The album this song comes from is based on the book "Demian" by Herman Hesse.
Please watch the MV for „Spring Day“!! It’s a slow song but still SO beautiful!!!
Anna Schulz yessss! He should also react to its Theory
Please watch the best BTS emotional songs and appreciate them ♥️🙏

Everytime I’m watching how people are shocked by bts I’m starting crying bc I’m so proud of them
i love how in every video you have to mentally prepare yourself before RM’s verse. as a fellow RM bias, i totally understand you lmao
They DEFINITELY do have a lot of deep meanings, yes.
Since you’re interested in video production you can check out some Behind the Scenes and to point out a member you should watch a Guide about the group
If u live deeper meanings
Then u love bts
yo i came jumping. this era was ICONIC!!
i love your bts reactions can't wait for next videos. there are good guides about the members, good and emotional contents about their music, and also crack videos by fans. i really want you to react to them in the future. thank you soooo much💜
sending love and support from Italy :)
Che bello trovare Army italiani/i in giro per UA-cam 😊
Avenger_ Army siii di solito mi sento sola😂
every era is iconic lmao XD
It was Jin with the statue. Suga was the rapper before RM. Jimin is the one you really liked the voice of at the start of the song.
This is my phone ringtone 🤣 btw the first singer is Jimin and the rapper you asked next was Yoongi aka Suga aka Agust D
This is the order of the MVs and short films you should follow:
- I NEED U MV (19+ version… the censored version cuts out a lot of the storyline)
- On Stage: Prologue VCR (with english subtitles)
- Run MV
- Epilogue: Young Forever MV
- WINGS short films ( Make sure to find versions with English subtitles!)
- Blood Sweat & Tears MV
- Love Yourself Highlight Reels ( there are 3 parts)
- Euphoria MV
- Fake Love teasers
- Fake Love MV
- Epiphany MV
You can look up the theories of each MV to understand better.
After finishing these, you can read the webtoon (korean comic) *Save Me* , it's an official collab between BigHit ent and the comic writer Lico. This webtoon basically tells the story behind everything but it's not finished yet.
The first guy was Park Jimin. My bias 😉💜
Demian was my favorite book and then the wings came out , and i was like WHAT THE HELL..?! that's why wings is my favorite album since i became an Army (2014)..
The guy you said u liked his voice is called Jimin (Park Ji-Min) ❤️
You have my favorite reactions. You're incredibly perceptive and eloquent.
The fact he keeps saying every reaction that is now his favorite song 😂 SAME
It's so hard to choose just one favorite song and he have not listened to their b-side songs yet 😶😂💜
BTS loves to make a reference from a famous literature. the whole concept of "map of the soul" album is from carl jung famous book "map of the soul"
if you read the book, you'll see the meaning behind their mv, the song the lyrics, and the concept itself. yes, BTS is a musician who make the fans or the listeners smarter by reading a book 😂😂
This song is actually about loosing innocence in the youth and temptations of the world. It's actually based on different stories and book. You should watch the explanation
Man i love your reactions dude !! The first guy his name is jimin
I found that after a month or two it just started sticking.
that things on his back is wings!!!
May God bless you with 1 million subscribers or more within a couple of months . I love your videos bro 😊😊😊♥️♥️
Thanks so much man❤️
The choice of classical music playing in the background during the breaks also have meaning.
The guy singing in the beginning was Jimin
The first guy is JIMIN .....he's litteraly the Center of attraction in BTS....

welcome to the fam haha i'd recommend checking out their hidden tracks-Path (from 2cool4skool) and Sea (from Love Yourself: Her)-as well (find videos with colour coded lyrics and english translations)!
Yeah the best 😍
It's open to a lot of interpretations but for me, the MV is all about the temptation of evil and lost of innocence, stuff like that. But really it can mean anything, that's the beauty of it.
Pls react to their MMA 2019performance,its amazing🔥❤️❤️❤️
There’s also a whole video about the bts music videos/storyline!
I love how you always pause the video before RM's part, saying you're not ready😂😂 But honestly, it's totally understandable😂💜
"okay okay i'm not ready for you RM" gets me everytime
Once you JimIN
You can't JimOut
😂🤣That is BTS
please allow me to speak my praises about their HYYH era. bts had an entire period of their music videos where everything was set in this fictional universe where they themselves were the characters. the era is abbreviated as HYYH (hwa yong yeon hwa, translated to mean "the most beautiful moment in life") and its a trilogy of albums, but the music videos from this era are all SUPER heavy on the symbolism and storytelling, they're all very beautiful and actually pretty dark at times. they're all also connected, and there is a running story that jumps forward and back in time. this is my favorite era of their music, because its just so sentimental and I remember when the videos were coming out, everyone had theories about what certain things mean, and its why army tend to overanalyze everything, because literally everything was connected in some way. theres also a saying that hyyh never ended, because some of the symbolism from it continues to appear in their videos. Anyway, HYYH was an amazing era but it gets overlooked because it was before they got famous worldwide.
Dude, you also should check out their dance performances. You're gonna notice a ton more things that you didn't notice in the MV
This song has a deep meaning..this is the song they start to rise...😘😘😘😘
You should react to the video « Who is BTS » it may help u a lot, and I like ur reaction videos💜

@@justynalaska6982 i mean, i could tell who is who, before they looks so similar to me:)))
@@msjadhav5192 ikr when I first saw them I didn't know who was who 🤗🤣
I think it was mentioned somewhere that this video is based on “Demian” the novel of Herman Hesse. The wings belongs to the bird which Hesse talks about in his novel. The bird is associated in the meaning of ‘birth’ that one has to go through in order to be born again. Very philosophical 🥰
The first guy's name is Jimin
Who was in who with lauv. 💜💜💜
This is one of their most symbolic videos. You chose the perfect one. A lot of their videos are part of a storyline they have. This song is also connected with black swan
