I drove mine daily for a year in north dakota, in winter they were ok, it was a warm winter when i was there and the lowest was -36f, like he say when they are not warm up, they shake a lot and i mean a lot, but once they warm up they are no so bad, the noise is not so bad but i do enjoy the sound they make, i was driving 60 miles every day since i got them, and they didnt wear that much, and i drove back to texas arround 1600miles when the job was done, no issues at all, they still on my truck but i dont use it that much since i bought a 3500 duramax, what i like is the agressive look that it gives my truck and that it will be very difficult to get stuck on those.
See I want to daily these on my TJ and I was just wondering by shaking so you mean death wobble type of shaking? And on a scale of 1/10 how loud are they?
@@Ghost-oq4qj the shaking is like, unbalance shaking sometimes it gets pretty bad, like if the truck is going to fall apart if you let it sit for days in the drive way, but when i was in north dakota the shop that i went used bbs in the tire later on i went back and told them to put leads but i dont know if they did it right, when i came back to texas 1600 miles drive, on that drive, the truck didnt shake, only when you let sit for a wile, my friend rebalance the tires after i came back, 5 weeks ago i move the truck 30 miles from where i was and i notice the shaking was not bad at all, the shaking only last for like 5 minutes then it goes away, the sound i will go for a 6 in my opinion, you can hear it but is not loud, you can have a good conversation inside the truck, i have a light bar on top and it makes more noise, overall they are good tires not once i got stuck and i work on jobsites with heavy duty machines and it gets super muddy and they are good on ice and snow, ill upload some videos
I have them under my defender 90 with a 1 inch lift. As he says they also need to warm up and get flexibel when you start driving. Because they are a bias ply, the get flat on the spot you parked it. So when they warm up they get round again. They are loud. But they make your defender of other 4WD look amazing.
I bought a set of 37x12.50-17 Treps (bias ply and not sticky compound) and am very disappointed. Running them on Method beadlocks at 3.5 psi front and 2 psi rear. One reason I bought them is sidewall resistance to damage from rocks and roots, and they're great in the small amount of mud that I encounter. However, they don't grip well at all on rocks when climbing. I suspect the big, flexible lugs are rolling under and thus off the rocks where tires with fewer and less-pronounced lugs would be stable (like the bias ply, non-sticky Pitbull Rockers I replaced). The Treps are for sale with fewer than 100 miles on them. That's how bad they are.
I air 40" treps down to 3psi but then again i have hutchinson double beadlocks. I ran no beadlocks for yrs but after low psi on regular wheels i debeaded both beads on one tire in the mtns and bought the hutchies shortly after. Dont fuck around with single beadlocks and hutchinson makes the best dbl beadlock you can buy and they are DOT approved, at least in the States anyway
25psi seems high for a 37. on a full sized Silverado I'm only running 20-23 psi on a 6000lb truck. Those tires might be different then Mickey Thompson claws but spray you tire with water and drive on dry concrete and see what your footprint looks like. I think when they start wearing yours will wear in the middle with that pressure. I'm not being a know-it-all I'm just sharing my experience with you!

I've heard it takes a few thousand miles to break them in and they might seem hard untill then.
mint fkn rig. How do you compare your 90 to the 110? Would a 110 be just as good off road as your 90? thanks!
90 its best choice ‘ varianta off road; 110 good choice 4 farm, long travel on road better

That's not a fair test with them being on a landrover test them on a jeep something that actually needs the extra grip
