    I have the same ID.7 car, the only difference is that it has a white interior. It's 4 months old and I drove 14,000 km with it. I love it. Many people worry unnecessarily about charging and range. Low consumption and fast charging, long journeys are no problem.

      @gheorghiualex 5 місяців тому +1

      @@muramarco01 There isnt any study made afaik. But given the nature of batteries, BMC can manage it up to some point. However, if the battery gets too hot and it is being requested to maintain the high speeds (or if one acelerates and breaks all the time - this is actually the worst), it is possible BMS could not keep up due to energy it would use being already in use by the high speed. A second argument would be: I would believe that the faster you discharge the more often you need to charge (because you use the amount of electricity stored in the battery faster) so then more cycles your battery will require to travel the same distance you would travel if you went slower. It's as if your fuel tabk would slowly rust every time you fuel so then you need to fuel less often so you keep it longer in good shape. If you buy an EV then I guess it is a problem. If you lease it, you might not care. However, recycling batteries has proven extremely difficult if not impossible so the more you care about the environment because you got an EV the more you want to preserve the battery in good shape I believe.

    The "plant" at 12:37 is called "reindeer lichen" or "cream cup lichen" in English and hedrenlav in Swedish, I didn't quickly find a Norsk translation (or "Flechte" in German), but "lav" seems to be the familiy name (there are lots of other types of lichen of course) indeed for both, Swedish and Norsk. Lichen / Lav is not a plant, but actually a symbiosis of algae and fungi - and it's an indicator for very good air quality, of which there is plenty in the norsk highlands of course ✌🙂

    I agree about the rear camera quality; it’s like car models from 15+ years ago 🤦🏼‍♂️
    My personal experience is that VW cars have many problems with flickering/glitching reversing cameras, maybe due to bad connectors, cables, or poor electronics design.
    The AWB (auto white balance) is like a webcam from the early 2000s. It ruins the car experience, and IMO, it’s also a safety issue, a waste of environmental resources, and a destruction of money because it leads to accidents and damaged cars. It's very unnecessary because I bet a 1 Euro higher-priced camera would be multiple times better.
    But we don’t have to bother because the Chinese consumers do not tolerate 15+ old technology, parts, cameras, displayes and Chips(ICs), etc., and VW will go out of business or at least be a long way from being the 2nd largest automaker.

      Model Y in 2025 new model will have range update. Probably 600km WLTP on the LR version, I am hoping for way more. They can put 100kwh battery pack easily in the model Y instead of 82 net, 75 usable today.

    Impressive. But yes, Model 3 highland would kick its ass. I manage to get under 90 Wh/km with sunday driving in summer with the Model 3 SR highland. That equals to around 640 km from a 57,5 kWh battery 🙂

      Yes, average driver drives 50 km/day and normal people eat and drink several times a day even without driving so even less range is more than enough. Faster charging would be more benefit for those people who drive and starves.

      @@vagitivanov8457 Point was if average driver drives 50 km each day you can drive whole week before you need to recharge when you have 600 km total range.
      And road trip isn't problem either normal people eat several time a day and you car charge while you eat usually it does it faster than you get your meal and can finish it.
      I have driven over 11000 km with EV so far, didn't change anything how i drive trips. Biggest difference is that i don't have to use any time for charging and can also charge at home with diesel i had to always go for petrol station which quite often wasn't along my trip to home.

      @@mr.wizeguy8995 with an average range of 50km, one would then drive a disel car for 2 weeks without a need to refuel. So it is twice better than an EV. Charge at home is available mainly for people who own their own houses, if you rent an apartment then such charging is rarely an option. And for long road trips the difference is that you HAVE to make stops at locations where car dictates you to rather than you MAY choose to make a stop or not
