Massive fan of The Home Team. I heard 1 song from their previous album on a Spotify radio, and it was exactly what I needed at the time. Happy, fun, funky, and that heavy music to back it up. Makes me think of a pop-punk Dance Gavin Dance. I get what you mean by needing to be in the mood, but when their music comes on, it puts me in the mood to listen to more. Always lightens my day cause it's just pure fun.
Exactly what I've been thinking! I didn't click until Issues chose Brian for the farewell tour. Watching him do that live showed me why they picked him!
Symphony Soldier is a quality album. If you like them, check out The Maine. Every album from Pioneer onwards and especially American Candy are so good.
Can't remember the guitarists name. But the one with the spike strap has said in an interview that he's a big heavy metal and death core fan, so his strap ties back to his inspiration and personal music taste.
That’s John! I asked them about the insane heavy guitars on some of the songs on the last album and they said he used an 8-string guitar for the same reason!
Love your good mornings! Ordered your good morning party people shirt and have worn it to about 6 shows now over here in the U.S. A Fan called me out at Ice Nine Kills. It was awesome! Next stop, Silent Planet, Thornhill, Johnny booth and Aviana!!
There is a completely unknown band called WHISKEYGIRL that just released a new song called Reverie and I highly recommend it. It’s criminal how unknown they are. I’m talking only 1k listens on the song and 600 followers. Please check em out!
I can deliver amazing, like, I always have a hard time describing it-- Imagine an extra in an action film, a character you wouldn't even notice otherwise, but something big's happening and they get put in danger and deliver just one of those S C R E A M S that pulls you right away from what's going on with the lead to see what's happening to them instead? I can do that particular thing very well

The Home Team, picking up where Issues left off, in the Heavy Pop scene. Love their energy so much!

Issues you say!? Fuck, Im here for it. This is the shit I need in my life.
So long as they don't end the same way then I see a bright future for them.
I remember them as a goofy little pop punk group an hour away from me, now they’re hitting it big time you love to see it
There was a band called The Cab that was on fueled by ramen back in the day. Sound so similar and I’m here for it

Fellow real rocker here to share that brag is my FAVORITE new home team song 🎉 excited for the new album this year!!
This song reminds me of the sound The Cab had in the late 2000s
I've been obsessed with this song since it's release. Best The Home Team song I've heard.

I get mad current Emarosa vibes from this. Just fun and funky.
Brian killed it with issues!
They remind me of The Audition from back in the day, love it
YES!!!
This reminds me so much of "Nightlife" and the music they've been putting out
Glad I wasn't the only one who thought this!
Banging at the walls of my enclosure
Y’all need to react to Since I Lost You by Issues. The best farewell song they could’ve wrote.
I'm sexually addicted to this tune.
