Bad cards are those that are too situational or too costly for little to no benefit, wihle old cards are cards with relatively good effects just too slow or powercrept by some newer ones. Lily is definitely the old and not the bad one

Heavy storm, dispel, MST, harpy, etc. There were plenty of back row removals and you are supposed to use them before you use your beat sticks.
