Most people don't have a high capacity generator at campsite/ tailgate to burn 1500 watts in an hour so this propane powered Blackstone AF is very innovative. Sadly this is an early model. It really is unacceptable to wait 30 minutes to get to 500° and should be "set it and forget it" instead of being affected by wind. An accurate electronic dial would be better than an inconsistent knob. The bad insulation is a fire hazard. Blackstone should re-design and re-release this model.
For those of us that live off grid, it is not pointless. Using an electric air fryer in the winter months when it is dark at 5pm is not an option. That said, I can get nice crispy wings done on my grill a lot faster.
Thanks for giving us an honest review!
No problem
Thanks for the info, a lot of stuff to process
Glad it was helpful!

A truly pointless product. So many of these companies prey upon the unwary.
I know, right
