  • The '12 minute tune' just doesn't cut it for me, so I decided to remap the bobber.
I purchased a preset map from DNK TuneWorks and used the TuneECU app to flash it to the bike.
It's super easy to do and well worth it in my opinion. To see how it's done, have a watch.

I had a file done by a chap in USA, flashed it the same way via ECU Tune, I stupidly did the crankshaft adaptation outside my garage which is next to my house, neighbours were all looking out of the window.

Bought myself the motone mayhem shorties. Going to change the exhaust tips over Xmas. No need for a map for me as keeping the cat. 15 mine tune will be all that’s needed. Got the shorties in black…for my brushed pipes… but see you have the same

Yeah its Hitchcox shorties I have. I change my mind on the black all the time. The bike ran sweet with them until I took the cat out. Check out my previous vid where I talk about the 12 minute tune.

Want to do this to my bike as well. But money is still an issue as exchange rate is not ideal right now…getting better but still crap.

I had exhausts fitted at TH and asked if I needed to do the “12min tune” to which they replied , it’s absolutely nonsense and doesn’t work !

How can you fix ECU issues with new sprocket sizes? The new Euro 5 Triumphs detect changes in sprockets and display a light and fault warning. Does Turn ECU has options for sprocket sizes or are more advanced setting required? I don't want to, mail my ECU from Thailand and back. What are my options?

This is not something I have done, so my answer is somewhat based on a little online research and my own understanding. The new gen 2022 apparently do not allow sprocket changes. As I understand it, the ECU monitors the engine rpm and wheel speed. If these fall out of the set parameters a fault will be activated.
TuneECU can be used to correct the calibration of the speedo that would be caused by changing the sprocket sizes. This is done by creating an offset.
I dont know if this would clear the fault.
If anyone reading this knows more, or has had success with this, feel free to comment.

@@The_Scottish_Biker I've given up on changing sprocket sizes. There are too many "it can" and "it can't be done" opinions. Your reply matches the reply directly from Triumph.
