I don’t think your ends are going to break. Some of my locs are doing the same and my Loctician said that they are sealing that’s why the look thin. They will eventually bud

The ends take ages to lock I have the same problem also putting your hair up with a hairband cause the ends to thin . Best thing to do is blunt it with a crotchet needle or just leave them. I wouldn't advise Combing them out

I have those same puny ends on some of mine but I’m only 2 months in. From what I see online you shouldn’t trim them tho so idk 🤷🏽‍♀️
