Realistically, I would say like we in season 8 according to the manga if you were to say how many seasons were left, I would say about like 2 more, depending how this ends in the manga not gonna spoil it.
The fact that Deku sounds tired and depressed in the preview says a lot. He didn’t even say Plus Ultra. That hits hard ngl.
He gave us the "I'm fine" that All Might did in season 1, he's not doing too good our guy Deku
He sounds more angry than anything. He doesn’t sound tired at all. I think y’all are only saying that because y’all know he’s actually tired later but he def doesn’t sound tired or depressed in the preview. And angry makes sense considering he was literally angry at the end of this episode and considering what his next move is.

This "dark" aspect of Deku isn't really about his morals being dark (he's still heroic), but how he could lose himself in his mindset. Yes, he has his underlying unhinged side when he's pushed to the edge (which we've seen in glimpses before). A part of the duality of his personality.
It's pretty freaky when you realize that Hawks and Lady Nagant had a really similar thing happen to them as Shigaraki. It was just with the Commission instead of All for One.
This series does an incredible job at making sure people hate All For One. He’s basically the devil himself.😭🔥
Yeah, I've always felt like All For One is the one exception for *everyone's* no kill rule in MHA by this point. Shigaraki? Toga? Dabi? Sure, try to save them if you can, but everyone probably just collectively agrees "But fuck AFO."
All Might should have ended AFO when he has the chance.

Anime at ch 316 and manga at ch 381 currently. 1 season maybe more likely (like with extended episode count as needed), at the most 2. The thing about the chapters you have to account for is not just the number, but also the actual page counts too. The author has had some low page counts more often than normal due to health issues with the mangaka lifestyle. So with action and some shorter chapters, it can be quicker to get through. Action chapters can be 3 to 4 chapters for an episode.
Deku wasn't saying "You would've hit me in the back if you'd aimed at Overhaul properly", he was saying she could have just aimed for his spine when she shot his phone at the very start of the fight
it wouldn't hit him because of danger sense, it didn't go off when nagant hit the phone because it wasn't aimed at him
@@gamevirus01 Nagant didn't know about his other quirks, she was just told to take him in alive, which she could have done by instantly paralyzing him, but she chose not to even try, that was Deku's point
Gamevirus it doesn’t matter that he wouldn’t have been hit the point is that she would’ve instantly shot him and tried paralyzed him if she was truly evil take the dam point
When I saw this in the manga I knew I had to see it animated and they didn't disappoint

Eh, it's because of All Might that heroes became too complacent, and the public began thinking heroes didn't have human needs.

When you think about it, the Third User’s Quirk, Fa Jin, is Deku’s own version of Goku’s Kaioken. I can now imagine Deku screaming "FA JIN X10"!!!

I appreciate you reacting to the previews. It’s nice to see someone react when they do changes like this. (Especially since previews are things that only exist in the anime.)
Deku at least looking for Overhaul to show the capacity for *remorse* for his actions with Eri (I don't think actually meet her, but at least be apologetic towards her like he is to pops). In manga - "If you can direct that same energy toward Eri". If there is any humanity for that.
If he can't do that, Deku doesn't budge... He genuinely dislikes Overhaul, you can hear it in his voice, even if he has a possible empathetic offer.
Even if Chisaki is sorry, I don't want him anywhere near Eri.

I actually think Deku would let eri meet overhaul if he genuinely felt remorse, because his pops will never be able to wake up without overhaul quirk so eri could rewind overhaul to get his arms back.
@Jaco Another point is that's it's not just in his power to do so (and again that's not necessarily what he meant either). Also have to have Aizawa who actually is Eri's guardian approve. I honestly feel kinda funky with that as Eri being a young girl and meeting her abuser could be traumatizing not too long after she has been trying to get over that.
I was thinking maybe Eri could directly rewind her pops to get him out of coma and that maybe the way for resolution. Then maybe that way pops can come to Overhaul. It could still be in the way as you suggest, it just seems more risky for Eri psychologically meeting Overhaul after being traumatized by him as long as she has.
I agree, I seriously doubt that either Deku or Aizawa are going to put Eri in (psychological) harm’s way just because Overhaul feels remorse. It’s not on her to fix his problems, even if she is the only person who could.
I would not let Chisaki near Eri. He traumatized her, and would probably do it again.

Lady nagant remind me of Riza from fmab. They both are snipers, and had to kill people for a darker cause. I really hope she doesn’t die, she seems to important just to have a few episodes. And her quirk is very useful
You remember when Stain had his final stand and gave his rant about false heroes? And everyone was “frozen in fear” of a dude that was half dead? Right before he passed out in S2? All Might was drawn in the manga the same way. Like his determination to save Deku scared those dudes away

People need to stop saying the Dub or the Sub is objectively better. People can enjoy either one for a number of reasons. It's called having PREFERENCES.

I wouldn't say the dub is better, but from watching both versions up to now, they've done a really good job. Plus, some things are translated better than the sub.
The 3 chapters to 1 episodes is a decent guess but they can do a lot more. I think the fight was 7 chapters but they did it in 1&1/2 episodes here. When it’s actiony they can squeeze in more and the rest of the series is pretty much all action (for better or worse).
The fact Deku learning these quirks on the fly and knowing how to use them in situations. Growth. I cant wait to see when he truly master all his quirks

The MHA dub is fine for me and a good dub (especially has some great voices for certain characters in particular), but the sub is elite. Like Deku in sub has been perfect for me in this arc. Sub Deku always hits for me to capture full range of both the sweet side and intense side of Deku.
idk man Deku's Dub actor just went Plus Ultra with the darker tone. The Sub is perfect but I prefer the Dub for this show.

@Yuki Modz I have another comment that here explains it better. Likely 1 season (maybe episode count adjusted as needed). They may wait longer for it with the anime. The manga is likely to end this year.

I understood that deku he got dark moments it happens to me too but I got someone help me but deku is done he’s lost his patience with villains he basically go crazy become something terrifying and scary all for one and shigaraki is dead for sure

No, he can't - that's fan speculation only and not canon by author. As far as what's canon is that his quirk factor is for his arms.

Nah dub had it on lock til the beginning of s4. They've been phoning it in a bit since then except for the dude who plays shigaraki (same VA as future trunks)
Meanwhile the sub VA's are consistently taking this shit seriously every episode.
The thing that can bother me a bit in the dub is they overuse the voice echo effect for the characters. It feels like sometimes it can drown out their voice rather than amplify it.
The sub uses that effect less often and when they use it, it feels balanced enough to amplify their own voice, but not drown it out. Idk just a nitpick I have when I watch the dub version after mainly watching the sub. I started MHA in dub too. Then when the dub fell behind in S2 that's when I switched to primarily watch sub, but also often still check out the dub.
You're forgetting that Season 4 and 5's dub were recorded at home because of Covid. Besides, the dub script has been far more manga accurate since Season 4 part 2.
