"I hold all the cards. And guess what: they're all full houses. Never actually played cards, meaning to learn."
"Ace of fours! The best hand. Unbeatable... I would imagine."
"I hold the strings. And the cards, still. Got the cards in one hand, got the strings in the other, and I'm making you dance like a puppet... playing cards."
Wheatley's dialogue (monologue?) is a gold mine.
Hmmmm
With all the time he mentions cards its almost like they were leading up to him being in the third Poker Night maybe as a dealer or maybe as a player but as we all know, Valve Cannot Count To 3
@Napoleonic Grenadier Yep. Wheatley got the Full House analogy wrong (Full House is Three of a Kind and a Pair in one hand). But he sorta got the Ace of Fours analogy right.
Four of Aces (Quad Aces for short) is the highest hand with the highest number. Definitely unbeatable.
You would assume if he's got the whole collection of what humans wrote, he should find a dozen card strategy and card rules books... But I bet he'd do the equivalent of holding books upside down with glasses that don't match his vision, just to look like an intellectual.
The Wheatley actor is so good. His personality really stands out because of this
The guy did an amazing podcast with Ricky Gervais and Karl Pilkington. Would recommend 10/10 lol
Weathley just want to show his spinny blade walls and mashy spike plates to someone y u ruin his fun
I'm starting to understand why Stephen Merchangt found these recording sessions exhausting.
“Finally an opponent worthy of my vast intellect.”
*goes into coughing fit*
Every time he says that immediately I respond “Sir can you even SPELL intellect” as if he’s going to respond
Wow their's a lot of dialogue if you just stand somewhere or do something stupid and I find it humorous.
the whole third act of the game is filled with bits like this its great
Wheatley is one my favorite characters of all time, love his quirks and quips throughout the game, even when he tried to kill us, i still love him
(Spoilers)
He's so terrible, and that's why he's so great. All this "let's escape together" then betraying you at the moment of victory, and acting fully on compulsive ideas causing him to cast you and GLaDOS into condemned aperture, thus opening up the latter 2/3rds of the game. He's such a moron, and at every single decision making opportunity, he somehow comes to the worst, most incompetent decisions every single time. He's such an excellently written character that the player can genuinly get annoyed at his sheer idiocracy and incompetence.
Even when he's cast into space, he only apologizes at a surface level and doesn't admit (likely doesn't even realize) just how badly he treated everyone.
The jokes are good too. 10/10 character.
I also adore him and honestly anyone who doesn’t comprehend the depth of his character and how he, at his core (bu dum tss) isn’t a bad person, doesn’t understand Wheatley.
Love him.
Poor guy though. The system was corrupt and gave him the irresistible urge to test (That's how it was programmed). It wasn't his fault. That's why at the end he regrets everything.
@@jamesinasyay3065 yeah at first he wanted to release us but then he changed his mind must be something in that body.
I think Wheatley is probably the best written villain ever.
Wheatley is better villain than GLaDOS in my opinion, he is way more dangerous
Probably not the best villain period but definitely the best comedic villain
@@adamH.1 and less negative than Glados, Glados breaks my soul and tears apart 🔪
I'd loved this even more if GlaDOS have said something like "do it already" or something at least. Is weird that GlaDOS just ignored that you "failed" 3 consecutive times.
Shes running off a potato just trying to save energy for when the chance comes to be REALLY sassy
The last part wasn't even Wheatley, it's just Stephen Merchant being mad at Karl
"A nemesis worthy of my vast nothing"
Weathley's speeches are so good
Stephen Merchant was the perfect choice to play Wheatley.
I like how people are still finding new easter eggs in Portal 2. It is my favorite story game and i really hope, one day, we will have portal 3.
@Deathevan Deathevan we got halflife alyx. They could make another portal game in VR but i think that a lot of people will be Sick from All the portál jumping and stuff.
Next thing we know we'll find the secret good ending where Wheatley comes back to his senses
Sadly, the Portal Series has kinda concluded with 2. Chell finally escaped, the backstory of Aperture and GladOS was revealed, and GladOS is just gonna keep doing stuff with the robots for all eternity. As much as I want more Wheatley and more Portal, it just aint likely to happen
Edit: if they did do a Portal 3, it definetely wouldnt follow Chell any further
Theres a chance we could get a half life 3, or half life episode 3 what with half life alyx existing, but portal is done now. There wont be a continuation of the story seen in portal 2, but there could be a game from a different story, similar to Portal Stories: Mel, but it's highly unlikely.
1:35 I love that little no
I love that the community is still active
You cut it too early on that second jump, he eventually continues talking about the twist ending being "twisty you can call it spinning" and so on.
All these years later. All the times I have replayed this amazing game, and there are still new lines I have never heard before. Amazing, I love this game so much.
I love this scene so much.
still to this day, i still play portal 2. and keep playing it, so glad i found someone like me
I played Portal 2 thousands of times and i didint even know that existed
The combination of Wheatley, Cave and Glados - one of the most entertaining games ever.
I love how people are still making Portal 2 content in 2021. It's probably one of the best games ever made, and certainly the best game ever made by Valve.
Can't believe I've never heard these lines after almost 10 years
“You’re at my nothing”
Wow, I’ve played Portal 2 and been in love with it ever since it came out in 2011 and somehow I’ve never heard this?? That’s insane
Man I had no idea there was so much dialogue! I’ve only ever got the first one, and by accident at that.
I didn't know about this. This is awesome!
Back when I first played Portal 1, immersed in the atmosphere of the game, I never imagined the main antagonist of the sequel would have a West Country accent.
Damn, forgot how great the Voice Actor truly is
I think I discovered this on accident during one of my first couple playthroughs just because I was curious to see what would happen if I jumped out. I really hope Valve makes a return to making real games soon.
alternate title: taunting wheatly for one minute and fifty four minutes
YES I KNOW THIS VIDEO WAS POSTED A LONG TIME AGO
0:22 Ah, I see. Clever, veeery clever…
0:40 FOOL!
1:02 The puppet master!
Hahahaha I remember discovering this, don't know how, I just tried dropping down to the catwalk below, and found the dialogue
I didnt knew about this lmao. Thank you so such for uploading this.
Very fun dialogue setup and so many probably missed it.
Also, what is the music at the end?
I like this game
I've seen this before and I still love it so much.
I like to think Chell is doing this so that way Wheatley can just have his little moment because she knows that he’s not going to be able to run an entire underground facility as well as GLaDOS did.
Haven't seen a portal video in years.
I thought I knew everything about this game
Turns out valve's smarter than me
Sad that they cut out most of the dialogue from when Wheatley killed the lights in that one chamber.
Even in his villainous moments, he's still pure amusing Wheatley.
I can’t believe I’ve missed this….
I just imagine that Chell and Wheatley are actually best friends and he wanted to act like a villain to see what it's like and then Chell purposely falls into his trap and then escapes just to mess with him.
Imagine GLaDOS’s feeling
AWWWWWWWW i miss the boy
A NEMESIS WORTHY OF MY VAST INTELLECT
I think i've gotten this Easter egg a long time ago without realizing it was a Easter egg, so I just got the first line before continuing.
when i first found out abbout this it became one of my favourite lines
I think found this once but totally forgot
dang still finding new dialogues
Wheatley is just so funny 😂🤣😂
Emagine this evil person fool by himself.
This is.... this is amazing.
wtf i have been playing this game for so long and didnt know about this
You're at my nothing 🤣🤣🤣
I don't know why but this video's audio seems really bass boosted
Cats: meow
Dogs: woof
9-year-olds: *FIRST FIRST*
Spinny blade wall!
Ok how did I not know this
Why did I get this dialogue on my first run-
nice. cool.
I thought this was fake till I replayed that part
*IM SICK OF THIS* 😂
Next time I’m at this part I’m gonna try this I idnt know he sayed this that’s so funny
youre at my nothing
RUFF RUFF BARK ARF WOOF WOOF BARK ARF ARF GRRRRRRRRRRR WOOF BARK BARK ARF
I’ve been trapped
Not liking that you skipped one of the dialogue, but right.
lol
,.,., 2w-2k
Love the voice actor, stands out so much, from the gentle to the oddly evil Wheatley.
Like if you found the test where your blood might turn into peanut water for a few minutes.
This is hidden? I heard it in any play I had
ItS a PoTaTo
You are not first,
You are not last,
But most certainly
Nobody asked
dude turn your ambient down a bit
Actually it’s not hidden, people just try to avoid it.
I do not fucking remember these
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT AGAIN
There is a lot of hidden dialogue and i discovered one nobody cares it is after press trap
Wheatley is a redditor oh god
Lol
I hate the subtitles not being accurate to the speech.
Quality: unavailable 🖕
I did this Btw
not really hidden...
I like how the devs were like “ok the dialog is done now”
I love when games do that
my narrator got pissed at me for looking at garbage so much while playing Undertale.
welp I'm too tired so . . .
I can name one other game with my last two functioning brain cells, the stanley parable, mr narrator, has a joke if you keep walking into the closet.
then undertale just makes a buncha jokes about you not doing the obvious solution like undynes "just face up"
but UNDERTALE is cheating, because that's like the whole point of the game.
@@thewindwakinghero7423 Actors cost money!
If you think of the game as a big teathrical play it's actually quite amusing
@@thewindwakinghero7423 Same. In the Fable franchise, they also do the same. The amount of times where I just stand there and have the NPCs rephrase the whole "Please. We're done. Go away. That's it. No more dialogue here." thing is really hilarious lmao.
