This sounds amazing and I make Jalapeno cheese cornbread myself but instead of pickled jalapenos, I usually chop up 2 Jalapenos and cook them in a little butter until they're softer. I don't like pickled anything other than pickles lmao Thank you for sharing this
Hi Chef Buck, always nice to see a video from you. I hope you are going to be sharing the chili recipe next that went along with the corn muffin recipe? I was disappointed that you had removed your commentary about the color of the cheese. Its great you are bringing your old recipes back to a newer audience. I've been around a long time. Even remember your other channel that had the short skits and you traveling through the US to Seattle. I've also gone back and watch your channel recipes in sections. Florida, Seattle, Traveling kitchen. It would be nice to see a new recipe from you maybe once a month? I appreciate all that you share and it makes sense to bring your older content to new people watching. I'm just always disappointed because I end up saying every Saturday "oh I've already seen this" I still watch and like to continue to support your content and channel. ❤
Thanks for always watching. My old grab bag channel morphed into a travel channel. I think it's funny how I don't make skit videos anymore cause I always enjoyed it...although I'm sure CG doesn't miss me grabbing her to help me with some weird video idea. We've been stuck in Florida recently dealing with some hurricane related fallout, which is not an uncommon situation for a lot of folks in the Southeast this year. Hopefully we'll be back in travelling mode when 2025 rolls around. Thanks for watching our stuff all these years, and we hope you have a great Thanksgiving holiday
Hominy is okay....my mom cooked up canned hominy all the time when I was a kid and it wasn't pretty bland stuff...we've had it often lately while traveling in Latin countries in pozole, which is the opposite of bland, and the best use of hominy that know. Do you like pozole?
Now you’re cooking! A good cornbread is hard to beat with beans or any meal👏😄👍
It's a bunch of carbs without the guilt I get from donuts :^) ...hope y'all have a nice holiday
Those look amazing! Yum! 😋😋😊
They’re pretty easy to make, too!
They look delicious!
Thnx for checking the cornbread out !
Excited to try these, thanks for sharing! 😋
I appreciate you giving the recipe a try...hope you like it
These are great! I love to eat chili with jalapeño corn bread (or muffins) crumbled on top. It's next level.
I agree...the flavors go perfectly together!
Looks delicious.
And they melt the pounds right off! (I think)
I was intimidated by the ingredient list, but it looked pretty simple in the end. Will try these for sure. Thanks CB & CG.
It's easy easy...definitely worth a try...hope you have a great upcoming holiday

Sounds yummy... we sometimes have fresh jalapeños on hand, but we always have the pickled ones

I love cornbread and love the heat of jalapeno peppers in food. Those muffins look delicious. I'm headed to the kitchen to make some right now!

those look great. Have you ever tried hominy? I like it even better.

There is still time to add this to our Thanksgiving menu! Good timing on the upload! :D
Yeah...I was thinking cornbread was a good family dinner addition...hope you have a great holiday
So today camera girl is doing the cooking that’s a switch up 🤩
I'm a kitchen hog, but she pleasantly muscles in on occasion
Hi, Camera Girl! Not a jalapeno fan, but the little muffins certainly look pretty.
I'm happy with no-jalapeno cornbread, but happier with it :^)
👏🏻💖💗
