As someone from Melbourne, I totally agree Chan looks Australian. I’ve spoken with a friend about it. He’s that sporty, non-eshay kid we all went to school with.
@Octavia Baywater that’s why I say he’s not eshay 😂 And he’s not, he’s too nice and respectful. Though he and Felix swear enough apparently. Bless them
Bang Chan actually wasn’t born in Australia but he moved there when he was very young. Felix was born and raised in Australia. And yeah they’re both from Sydney!
wouldn’t that mean he’s got at least partial korean citizenship?? bc i thought he wasn’t eligible for mandatory service bc he just had australian citizenship like lix
So funny thing. 3 of the members are all born within 8 days of each other in September. Han and Felix are referred to as the sunshine twins because they are born 1 day apart Han on the 14th and Felix on the 15 and then Seungmin was born on the 22nd. All of them were born in 2000. Seungmin sometimes gets grouped in with Felix and Han and they get referred to as the triplets. Also Lee know and Felix are often referred to as cats and are called meowmeowracha because of their facial features and also their personalities
Also they do have other rachas. There is danceracha and vocalracha. Seungmin and IN are vocal racha and then Lee know hyunjin and Felix are danceracha. Even with this that isn’t their most common rolls for singing. The “rap line” is hyunjin Felix changbin and Han and then the “vocal line” is chan Lee know Seungmin and IN.
Han Jisung giving "little brother" vibe is actually so accurate. He's such a hyperactive brat and just has this aura of innocence about him off stage. The sweetest honestly
Hahaha I love that you instantly guess that Chan and Felix are Sydney boys 😂 I never realised how distinct the Sydney accent is until you said it..especially Felix’s Western Sydney accent 😂😂
this guide is very old and very basic so if you don't mind you can watch "a detailed introduction to stray kids 2023" by mininhao it's a little long but it's the best
@@TrolltekOfficial also! Just wanted to let you know that Stays in general do not mind LONG videos. My experience is that many actually prefer it 😊but that is of course only if you don't mind record longer videos!
3Racha (you pronounced it correctly) is the producing unit. They were a pre-debut Rap group and Chan built the rest of Stray Kids using them as the base. Chan was given the chance to pick his own team, very unusual for KPop. They also have DanceRacha (Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix) also known as VisualRacha (they do most of the model work) and VocalRacha (Seungmin and I.N) Changbin actually started as a dancer before his vocal coach suggested his vocal tone was best suited to rapping. Han, Felix and Seungmin are all September babies (with Han and Felix being a day apart, and Seungmin a week later) Han and Felix are sometimes called the Sunshine Twins (Han wrote Sunshine and Felix is called Sunshine) and sometimes they are referred to as the Sunshine Triplets (one of Seungmin's nicknames is also Sunshine)
loved the video. You nailed their personalities on the head right from the start. Thank you for getting to know the boys. This is a great start to a newbie stay. Fandom name is Stay, debut in 2018 with 9 members, lost one Woojin, in 2019 for personal reasons. It is funny that Hyunjin, Han, Felix, and Seungmin are born in the same year and how Seungmin seems the oldest. Han is only a 8 days older than Seungmin since Han, Felix and Seugmin share the same birth month. Maknae means youngest and in Korea they always take care of the youngest in the group. I highly recommend watching another guide and the this one gives you a little bit of history of the company stray kids and kpop and korean in general and also gives you info about the boys that is current. It is a 20 min video and you don't have to read just listen. It is a great guide that even I learned something new from it and have been in to kpop for 4 years now. The guide was created by Johnathan Miller Music and the name is "The Rise of STRAY KIDS - JYP Entertainment's REAL Secret Weapon (Deep Dive)" here is the link if you are interested. ua-cam.com/video/PY-WJp5z6zc/v-deo.html Adding that I this guide was in 2021 so at the time Changbin was the fastest rapper, I think today he is #2 but he is still at the top and keep in mind even though this guide was from 2021, some of the clips used are older than 2021 so the boys really look so much younger. I love to see you react to song Venom m/v if you like rapping this is one of the best ones.
'A very specific Sydney accent' - yep, they are Sydney boys theough and through. Chan lived around the Inner West (he moved around a bit) and Felix lived out Blacktown way and went to school near Parramatta. Its so strange to hear Felix and his Westie accent at fancy fashion shows and things - another of his wild dualities!
A fact that wasn't put in is that chan was a trainee for around 8 years before stray kids was ready to debut, because of this he has ALOT of idol friend's. Aswell as other aussie idols, it seems like hes collecting them though which ngl is kinda scary 😰
You did a really good job pronouncing everyone's names, actually! Most people absolutely butcher Hyunjin and Seungmin on their first try, but you were really close! Great reaction all around. You caught on really quickly :) hope to see more reactions in the future! Also, as a side note, there are many aussie idols! Check out NewJeans (Danielle and Hanni), NMIXX (Lilly), and ENHYPEN(Jake), as well as DPR Ian for more aussies :)
Stray Kids. 8 true all rounders. Felix has been singing more this past year so there are now more clips of his signing voice. He also has a solo song called Deep End and he covers 3 full octaves! Insane! Felix is the biggest ray of sunshine you will ever see! His Korean name is Yongbok, but his nickname is Haengbok, because it sounds similar and it means happiness because he is everyone's happiness. Also Changbin is one of if not the fastest rapper in kpop. I think I saw somewhere that he comes close or can rap as fast as Eminem to (please correct me if I'm wrong Stay) Chan goes live every single Sunday on youtube to spend time with Stay. And he's been doing that for years! He will just listen to music with Stay talk with us, show us behind the scenes with the music production. He will break down songs they've made. It's awesome. We don't deserve him.
it’s the way you were spot on about them being from sydney and about the subunits lol. btw, there are 3 subunits in the group: 3racha (producing unit) - bang chan (CB97), han jisung (J.One), seo changbin (SpearB) Danceracha (dance unit) - hwang hyunjin, lee minho, lee felix Vocalracha (vocal unit) - kim seungmin and yang jeongin
i love seeing people get to know stray kids especially when they seem genuinely interested in the boys outside of getting clicks! subscribed immediately :) to help your journey, here are a few in my opinion “must watch” compilations for you to really get the vibe of the members and skz as a whole: -three men in colorful pants (10% 3RACHA 90% LAUGHTER) -stray kids acting questionable for 14 long minutes -stray kids making award shows fun -stray kids struggling to film music videos stray kids as a whole are a very unique group not just for being entirely self produced and self made, but also because they’re so close. staff and idols describe stray kids as authentic like no one else, extremely close, always clinging to wach other, really loud when together and very shy when not. stays make jokes that skz have separation anxiety for each other, because of incidents such as always going to the bathroom together, whining about missing the others on solo schedules, and one time when they had to be quarantined separately hyunjin asked stays to check if the members are online or not because none of them are answering his calls and they’ve “only called 6 times today”. to me stray kids are the most charming group because they’re all about passion and authenticity. the music they sing isn’t handed to them by producers on a sheet of paper, it’s their words and their melodies that they’re spreading, and their lyricism is really no joke. they don’t act close and cheerful on camera just because it satisfies fans, but everyone around them says they’re exactly the same on and off camera. they’re inclusive and speak out about issues other idols can’t, especially our channie.
11:12 That is probably Felix. 😂 He loves Changbin and is always hugging him. If you decide to do a longer, more updated guide I recommend the one by Kelsthekiller, it doesn’t spoil the music as much as the guide made by Teanosuga. 3Racha is pronounced threeracha. That is only official racha in Stray Kids but Danceracha and Vocalracha have been adopted by the group by now. 😊 Changbin is the one who drew me in to Stray Kids and introduced me to kpop. Love his aggressive rap, but he is not the fastest rapper, but he also has a lovely singing voice. He’s been singing more lately. He quite quickly became my bias after getting to know the group more. Han and Lee Know completed my bias line by being the funniest members. 😂 23:03 They are one week apart. 😂
5:35 no like the whole aura thing is so true. When I first found out about this group I was immediately like “that dude looks Australian”… I’m not from Australia. Idk how the hell I knew. I hadn’t heard him speak yet and I thought this. Edit: I’ve also never been to Australia in my life and have only met about 2 or 3 people from there personally.
Felix didn’t actually know how to speak Korean when he first auditioned so chan really helped him at first with him being homesick and in a country he had never really been to before. Lee Know really helped him with his Korean and he was able to fluently speak it within 10 months.
You are incredibly good with remembering faces because how did you recognize chan, felix and changbin just from watching God's Menu?? I'm very impressed
You should react to "A long but updated guide to Stray Kids" by TeaNoSuga Reacts. Its a bit of a deeper dive into the members and the group as a whole. You were right about the different sub groups within the group. You got 3Racha (Three Racha) as being the producers, then Danceracha as the main dancers in the group, and lastly you have Vocalracha as the main vocalists.
Considerable both bang chan and felix are Australian,Bangchan helped Felix when he first got to Korea. As a trainiee( This is what you're called if you haven't, debuted in a k pop group yet.) bang chan already had been training for a few years now. So he knew the ropes and he helped Felix cause he saw himself in felix
I agree with the other commenters as well, you should definitely react to a 2023 guide! also if you would be willing to, there's a series called 2kids room, the latest one that came out in 2022 (its on youtube), it has a lot of episodes and in each one 2 members just talk about their relationship and memories, you get to learn quite a lot about them through it! the first one is of Felix and Hyunjin! (p.s. - I'm not sure if you've been told already but there was a 9th member who left, skz are 8 now though and we love them as they are now)
So 4 of them were born in 2000. Hyunjin in March, Han, Felix & Seungmin all in September, with Han & Felix born a day apart, then Seungmin a week later.
It's a long explanation, but it's about the position "visual": "VISUAL" isn't about beauty, about looks only. The visual position is actually more important than many people think. The visual member is the member who fits the most the "Korean Beauty Standards", also called "KBS" (there's also a korean TV channel called KBS). Not important here, eastern, but for korean culture. That's why they're always pretty, and for koreans, they're the most beautiful members in their groups. This is important, cuz if a group flop in Korean, it will probably flop in other countries. The visual position was created for marketing (inside their country and many asian countries too), so you could see the visual on thumbnails, ads, tv shows more than the others; the "visual" thing, this system is changing with the years, but you still can see groups where the focus will be always on the visual. They would be the literal "face" that would carry the group's name around their country. Now, in kpop, there's an unnofficial position called "face", and it's just the most popular member, be it visual or not. It's also important to remember that visual isn't a position related to music or talent, so people usually think a visual is just beautiful, and not talented. But they're always a box of crazy surprises! If they're Idols, they're the best at something, for sure. I mean, to debut, you have to be number 1 at something among the trainees. Also, look at Hyunjin 😧💞 And considering the importance of the position for their groups, it's unncommon to see a visual member getting a "main" position, while in the groups almost everyone get's a main position (something hard for big groups like SKZ).
Han, Felix and Seungmin are all born within 9 days of each other... so I don't blame you for thinking that one looks older than the other! I didnt realise how close in age they were until I watched this video lol
theres also 2 more subunits other than 3RACHA (three ra-cha) . We have DANCERACHA with Hyunjin (Hyun-jin) Felix and Lee know, they are basically the dancers of the group. 2nd we have VOCALRACHA with Seungmin (su-ngmin) and I.N ( ein / ayen ) or if you want to call I.N as Jeongin (Jeon-gin) . VOCALRACHA are the vocalists of the team . - MAKNAE means YOUNGEST. (did you also notice how Han and Felix's birthdays are a day apart?. You would encounter STAYs calling them "the twins" or "the sunshine twins" since both of them are bubbly)
Han and Seungmin have about one week age difference. All three Han, Felix and Seungmin are born in September 2000, Han and Felix only being one day apart :') I'm pretty sure one of these 150 comments has pretty much said it all already but I wanna still point out that SKZ don't have set roles anymore as they all do everything. They do have their subunits based on their preference/strenghts and ofcourse the 3racha as they were already a thing before SKZ and are the producers. I just stumbled here so I don't know yet what you have reacted to after this but as said also all other members take part in the music production on top of vocals, raps and dance~ Yay! now of to check other content.
I’ve watched a lot of other people’s reaction videos to this guide and I have to say this one was my favorite. Can’t wait to see what you react to next. Stray Kids are incredible in so many ways so look forward to enjoying a lot more of their content 😊
My guy… your recall is AMAZING. Wish I had it. Also, people are typically thrown off by different hairstyles and older images all around. But you recognized everyone with considerable ease. I was about to ask if you grew up around people with more diverse backgrounds, as research shows this to be a common factor of not seeing people of a specific nationality or race as more or less identical [which is extremely common in early kpop reactions]. And then I remembered you said are a big fan of k-dramas. Could be comparable 😝
You are going to love these guys! They are hilarious and very talented. Welcome to the start of becoming a stay journey. There is A LOT of music, content, and performances to get through when it comes to stray kids. Its gonna be more now when they drop they're new album in june. Enjoy!
Some of the footage you're seeing is older, so compared to back then, the Stray Kids are all taller and in much better physical shape / more bulked up / have even more muscular abs now. There are 8 members (they started with 9 but one member left in 2019). Bang Chan (aka Christopher Bang) and Felix are both Australian, but fully fluent in Korean. Maknae is the Korean word for "youngest." 3Racha (which is the Stray Kids rap sub-group and consists of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) do the vast majority of writing, composing and producing all of the music for Stray Kids. JYP (their management group) took the unusual decision back in 2017 (pre-debut) to give the SKZ creative control of their music. VERY unusual in the K-Pop world. Over the years, the other SKZ members have also participated in writing, composing and producing. Besides 3Racha, there are also two other sub-groups to Stray Kids. DanceRacha consists of Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know. And VocalRacha consists of members Seungmin and I.N . As far as Changbin and Han's rapping, check these out: CARPE DIEM. Sadly, it's only 45 seconds long, but it's AMAZING. This video: Stray Kids - Carpe Diem | Rap Performance @2019 V HEARTBEAT Also, check out this performance: Video title: Rap duo (Han & Changbin) (on this channel: Sara Lucio) Also check out Changbin's rap (which he recorded all in one take. No kidding.) in this video: F.HERO x MILLI Ft. Changbin of Stray Kids - Mirror Mirror (Prod. by NINO) [Official MV]. Changbin's part starts at the 1.59 mark.
YOOO IM LATE TO YOUR REACTIONS BUT IM HERE i'm also kinda new to stray kids so getting to know about them with you was really chill! keep it up ur cool :DD
Idk if I’m tripping but I was watching your gods menu reaction vid like an hour ago, and u had 1.99k subs I think, came back to watch this and now u have 2.05k subs⁉️⁉️ love it
The guide is actually not the best thing to start with. Cause it’s missing lots of important things and included ships? Which are unnecessary at all. Lee know was a professional dancer even before debut, got to debut in tithe group with just few weeks of training (the shortest time of all) he literally passed JYP base dancing routine with the fastest record in whole company! Just 2 weeks. Others took years and some in the company didn’t pass even, it’s super hard. He is a main dancer of the group and a great vocalist. He has literally insane flexibility and dancing technique , the energy is insane. Highly recommend you to watch his performances and fancams. Before debut he was in a dancing crew that performed in the World of dance competition too, others in that team are now choreographers, famous in Korea. He has insane falsettos! Listen to his solo song -Limbo! And you will hear in group songs too
BangChan was actually born in Seoul - but moved to AUS at a young age and has AUS citizenship- Felix is the only one actually born outside of S.Korea -
Thank you for your azaming reaction, I really enjoyed your video even tho it is not my favorite guide. If you want to learn more about members in detail i really recomend '3racha', 'danceracha' and 'vocalracha' guides by Vic Killjoy that are both good at showing members personalities and them as an artists or If you want to learn mostly about the members and don't get spoiled with their music you haven't reacted to yet I'd recomend "Stray Kids 2022 Guide (Spoiler Free)", this one is really really good at both showing them as a people and highlighting every member individually. Both are obviously a bit outdated but are still solid guides in my opinion.
hey, I don't know if you already have saw this ones, but as you said you would want to know more about the boys here are some videos that tell more about the sub-units 3RACHA: ua-cam.com/video/4pQOocEacRU/v-deo.html DANCERACHA: ua-cam.com/video/PRPuMbC6YjQ/v-deo.html VOCALRACHA: ua-cam.com/video/GqH6rgfUiwM/v-deo.html they're very fun and informative I hope you enjoy it :)

THE WAY i gasped when you said han gave huge little brother vibes. as someone with a little brother I HAVE BEEN SAYING THIS its so interesting HAHAHA
14:07 as someone born in 2007 and like a feel old this makes me
happy aha
Your comments on Chris and Felix are the best haha, crazy how you immediately knew they’re from Sydney!
There is a reason us Stay,s call him the best leader.+. Major Dad vibes
oh your vibes are great, as soon as you said you're a cat person I reached for that subscribe button
(p.s. - I'm not sure if you've been told already but there was a 9th member who left, skz are 8 now though and we love them as they are now)
Stray kids are Kings of 4th génération ...Monsters of stage performance
It’s nice to see that I’m not the only Australian STAY. I’m from Melbourne and I have loved stray kids since 2019 ❤
So 4 of them were born in 2000. Hyunjin in March, Han, Felix & Seungmin all in September, with Han & Felix born a day apart, then Seungmin a week later.
It's a long explanation, but it's about the position "visual":
"VISUAL" isn't about beauty, about looks only.
Love your reaction. Weirdly I’ve seen a few guides that specifically list Sydney, Australia under Felix’s bio but just Australia under Chan’s!
"it's crazy to me that a person born in 2000 is real" SAMEEEEEEEEE
"after 1999, people stop being born for me" is TOO real lmao 14:16
theres also 2 more subunits other than 3RACHA (three ra-cha) .
You would encounter STAYs calling them "the twins" or "the sunshine twins" since both of them are bubbly)
loved the video!! can't wait for more stray kids reactions!!!
“ maybe he’s the most aesthetically pleasing “
AHHHHHHH WTF
But true tho
“Give me more time on that frame please” absolutely sent me because, like, same lmao
Han and Seungmin have about one week age difference. All three Han, Felix and Seungmin are born in September 2000, Han and Felix only being one day apart :')
I'm pretty sure one of these 150 comments has pretty much said it all already but I wanna still point out that SKZ don't have set roles anymore as they all do everything. They do have their subunits based on their preference/strenghts and ofcourse the 3racha as they were already a thing before SKZ and are the producers. I just stumbled here so I don't know yet what you have reacted to after this but as said also all other members take part in the music production on top of vocals, raps and dance~
Yay! now of to check other content.
I’ve watched a lot of other people’s reaction videos to this guide and I have to say this one was my favorite. Can’t wait to see what you react to next. Stray Kids are incredible in so many ways so look forward to enjoying a lot more of their content 😊
Your proper grasp on chanlix relationship is so impressive
"He balanced the drrr" meanwhile the god's ddu du ddu du performance.... he literally raps like this in this performance
You should definitely react to " ill be you man"
It's so funny going back and wacthing this now that you know them so well xD
My guy… your recall is AMAZING. Wish I had it.
Also, people are typically thrown off by different hairstyles and older images all around. But you recognized everyone with considerable ease. I was about to ask if you grew up around people with more diverse backgrounds, as research shows this to be a common factor of not seeing people of a specific nationality or race as more or less identical [which is extremely common in early kpop reactions]. And then I remembered you said are a big fan of k-dramas. Could be comparable 😝
Admit it, you like all the members and can’t choose pretty much!😂
Maknae = Youngest
Excited to watch your Stray Kids Journey!🎉
You are going to love these guys! They are hilarious and very talented. Welcome to the start of becoming a stay journey. There is A LOT of music, content, and performances to get through when it comes to stray kids. Its gonna be more now when they drop they're new album in june. Enjoy!
Welcome to the stray kids world ❤
More reaction to stray kids 🙏🏻
14:07 I assure you we are very much real lmao, I was born in 2003 and I'm an adult with a 9-5 job lol.
You've done really well. Kudos. Many of your impressions are accurate. And your pronunciations were pretty great. Welcome.
Maknae is the Korean word for "youngest."
3Racha (which is the Stray Kids rap sub-group and consists of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) do the vast majority of writing, composing and producing all of the music for Stray Kids.
As far as Changbin and Han's rapping, check these out:
CARPE DIEM. Sadly, it's only 45 seconds long, but it's AMAZING.
This video: Stray Kids - Carpe Diem | Rap Performance @2019 V HEARTBEAT
Also, check out this performance:
Video title: Rap duo (Han & Changbin) (on this channel: Sara Lucio)
Also check out Changbin's rap (which he recorded all in one take. No kidding.) in this video:
F.HERO x MILLI Ft. Changbin of Stray Kids - Mirror Mirror (Prod. by NINO) [Official MV].
Changbin's part starts at the 1.59 mark.
I'm excited to see your journey of being a stay! welcome to the fandom
After he just gon throught one member: YUP THIS THE MAN I LIKE HIM
Channie stans: YAHH MATE THAT'S WHAT WE TALKING ABOUTT
THEY DONT HAVE OFFICIAL POSITIONS BECAUSE THEYRE ALL ALLROUNDERS WHICH MEANS THEY CAN ALL SING, DANCE AND RAP!!
If you want know them and their music more you can react to' Long But updated guide 2022 '.
This video has a lot of interesting information .
Quokka is one our Animal in Australia in West Australia on Rottnest Island.
I like listening to your voice as much as you like listening to Felix’s 😅🥵
thank you for sharing your reaction with us! we want more of stray kıds please!!
YOOO IM LATE TO YOUR REACTIONS BUT IM HERE
i'm also kinda new to stray kids so getting to know about them with you was really chill! keep it up ur cool :DD
Idk if I’m tripping but I was watching your gods menu reaction vid like an hour ago, and u had 1.99k subs I think, came back to watch this and now u have 2.05k subs⁉️⁉️ love it
Some K-pop lingo for you is In K-pop your “favorite” member is called your bias.
Really enjoying your stray kids journey :) !
And you will hear in group songs too
also felix, his korean name is yongbok with an o not u, spelled in korean it's be "용복“, so it is very clearly an "o" in bok rather than a u
yongbOk
it'd*
phonetically, that would be "yohng-bohk", the "o"'s pronounced as "oh"
‘The next time I go into a kpop band I’ll do a guide first’ ok but don’t slow down on the SKZ 😅🥲🫰🏻
Bang Chan does a live stream every Sunday. EVERY Sunday.
Bro tho makes me miss chans room sm 😭
BangChan was actually born in Seoul - but moved to AUS at a young age and has AUS citizenship- Felix is the only one actually born outside of S.Korea -
You catch on like insanely fast. It's like you've cheated but I know you haven't. Well done!
Both are obviously a bit outdated but are still solid guides in my opinion.
hey, I don't know if you already have saw this ones, but as you said you would want to know more about the boys here are some videos that tell more about the sub-units
3RACHA: ua-cam.com/video/4pQOocEacRU/v-deo.html
DANCERACHA: ua-cam.com/video/PRPuMbC6YjQ/v-deo.html
VOCALRACHA: ua-cam.com/video/GqH6rgfUiwM/v-deo.html
they're very fun and informative I hope you enjoy it :)
6:53 you're so real for that
You not wrong bout Han tho, he is such a playful guy giving a little brother vibe
YALL I TOTALLY DEVELOPED AN AUSSIE ACCENT BECAUSE OF BANG CHAN AND FELIX-HELP
i'm from America... T-T idk how long i'll last with an Aussie accent
Might I suggest watching lonely st? And definitely watch Sunshine Felix moments and Felix cuddle bug
Trolltek i enjoyed your video!
The 2022 guide is far better dn this
correction, bang chan was not born in australia, he was born in korea but moved to australia when he was very young
14:46 he does have a sharp jawline, but look at jay from enhypen...
Pls react the longest 2022 guide! 🙏🙏🙏😊 That's the best guide with so much information 👍
maknae means youngest in a group of people in korean hope that helps!!
This is absolutely unrelated to skz but pressing . and , on keyboard moves youtube video by frames only in case you need to rewind only a second back or something 😂 it's generally helpful for these videos
14:13 Meanwhile 08&09 lines debuting as idols:
