Haven't seen this since the mid eighties, your review has peaked my interest. Unfortunate that most people only really notice the first film. Love the channel, your tongue is firmly in your cheek. But you obviously have a lot of affection for these films.
One of my favorite franchises. This one was good if it were a transition movie into a 4th and 5th films. I liked it, but I think it was rushed, just like “Game of Thrones”. Good review! Subbed!
Thank you and glad you're enjoying my channel! Good catch on the "Las Bas" segments. It looks like there may have been an Omen IV planned (before the Fox TV movie) that would have picked up some points left off by Omen III -- or at least it exists in novel form anyway! This sounds sufficiently bonkers: www.amazon.com/Omen-IV-Armageddon-Gordon-McGill/dp/0451118189#customerReviews
I did like the Damien’s prayer to his Father. Segments of it came from a Satanist that wrote a book called “La Bas”. Also I was about 8 years old when I saw this movie, I’m 50 now. The sex scene with Kate, I admit I didn’t know exactly what happened until I was a bit older. I just figured it was rough sex. Anyhow, looking forward to your future reviews!
There's a reason it's my favorite Omen sequel! I've probably watched it as many times as the first one, honestly. I know it's already close to running two hours, but I want even more of Sam Neill as Damien doing evil things. :-D
@@jerrystarnes2508 I've got a big, soft spot in my heart for it. 💘💘 I even subjected my seventh grade teacher to a Final Conflict inspired short story about Damien running for the Senate. It got me sent to the school counselor, but some people have no literary taste.
Just saying hi to support a cool new channel. Also, I find these films ironically blend in to me with their religious counterparts like the Omega Code. Same subject I suppose.
Haha, I could see that - both inspired by the Book of Revelation, but viewed from different lenses. I don't know what it is about the Antichrist, but I never get tired of that guy. :-D Thanks for supporting my channel!
