VIMS - 315 kW Pumping station serious resonance problem 26 mm/s Vrms

Every structure has natural #frequency. The goal is to recognize natural #frequencies and to operate machines in proper way to avoid excitation high vibration level by rotating parts. In many case it is related to rotational speed of the machine. Vibrations excited by residual unbalance of rotor is nondestructive for wide range of rotational speeds, but in range of natural frequencies it can rise vibration level to danger level. Please see results from combined vibration analysis done by VIMS using Adash A4500 VA5 Pro #analyzer and #MotionAmplification® camera from RDI to detect and show resonance at 17,5 Hz well recognized by Bump Test, Runup and MA movie.
