My dog just died... I picked him up off of the streets 3 months ago and he was super intelligent and fun loving. I knew there had to be a reason why he was left alone because a dog this beautiful and intelligent wouldn’t just be dropped off on the street. Anyway, a took him in, and adopted him. He was mine and I loved him. I went to get him shots, since he was a young puppy and I figured I didn’t want him sick. He grew to be a little bit bigger, but it wasn’t enough time to make dramatic growth. Keep in mind that he is a Dobermann, which means he should’ve been pretty big by a year or two. Anyway, the doctor told me he was sick, but it was just a small puppy virus. But I due to the fact that he was sick, he wasn’t qualified to get his shots. He stayed this way with a cough and a runny nose for 2 months. I took him to multiple vets, asking what was wrong. None of them knew, and none of them gave him shots. I was getting worried, but I wasn’t too worried since they originally told me it was a puppy virus. So, after two months, he started doing something very strange. He started having seizures... and I could not stop them. It started once every couple days... so I started taking him to the vet daily. I demanded for them to give me medicine to give to him. They all told him that I should let them put him down. I declined. He was my best friend. So I took him home each day, very upset. He started having them more and more until it got to once every ten minutes. I am still beside myself, because a couple days ago he started running around the house barking and slobbering and hurting himself... I let the vet put him down today. I’m devastated to the point where I can’t even eat right man... if someone knows a solution to depression please help... I try to use UA-cam to help, but it’s not working. I haven’t left my bad in 13 hours... he wasn’t just a dog, he was the only thing I had to look forward to when I got home... I’m not asking for your help, but I need prayers... I’m not okay. 😥
