10 sided abyss would actually be a tonne of fun kind of like what we have with babel in pgr grabbing units to meet the demands of stage rather than grabbing your highest dps team. it would also encourage investing in characters you wouldn't normally consider like candace. lisa, collei. heizou etc what isn't 100% meta but fulfills certain requirements of the stage.

If ever the new abyss or whatever it'll be called requires more teams, I'm pretty confident I can form many teams with the units I have which are Geo team of ¹Itto-Gorou-Chiori- ZL/Albedo, ²Xiao with Faruzan-XY-Furina, ³Alhaitham with Nahida-Yelan-Kuki, ⁴Navia or Lyney with ZL-Benny-XL, ⁵Neuvi with Kazuha-Fischl-Layla (Dehya or Beidou as options), ⁶Ganyu morgana, ⁷Ayathoma burgeon with DMC/Yaoyao ⁸Kaveh HB with XQ-Raiden-Kokomi or Freminet with XQ-Raiden-Mika, I could also Raiden with Chevy but I never built Sara and need another Electro/Pyro for 4th slot. That could be fun coz it'll let us compose more teams.
If 4.7 abyss update leaks turns out to be true they will incentivise certain elements for the new abyss, won't be surprised if they limit units to a certain region only.
That would outright suck ass, region-restricted abyss sounds like the embodiment of FOMO. Element restrictions are no better, cryo and anemo are already getting shafted for no apparent reason by the regular abyss lineups.
Imagine if they restrict us to mondstadt units though, that would suck so much ass. Diluc with no Xianyun or Xingqiu? Jean or Klee with no Furina? Eula would somehow be the most playable on-fielder.

Most of the playerbase does need his teammates to do reasonable enough damage to help clear content.
It doesn't matter as long as her skill cooldown is below 30s, the Neuvillette team only needs her to provide a shield (on her skill) and trigger Hydro Reactions to build Draconic Glory stacks.

This isn't soloing with neuvillette tho, soloing with neuvillette would be only him with no other characters, this is a 4 man team that provides VV and his stacks which multiple his dmg by 2, so unless your build is completely trash you should be able to clear
My aim would be to limit the teams to have some sort of "one S tier unit for every on-fielder" pairing to leave good units for other teams and have no "bad unit dumpster" teams. So that would be: Navia/Bennet; Alhaitham/Yelan; Xiao/Xianyun; Ayaka/Kazuha; Yoimiya/Raiden; Tighnari/Nahida; Neuvilette/Furina; Itto/Zhongli; Ganyu/Venti; Nilou/Xingqiu I'd argue that Zajeff is giving too much love for the Alhaitham, Raiden, and Hutao teams. Yoimiya with Chev, Raiden, and Sara works beautifully, especially against stalling bosses like Wenut. Ofc XL OPPA, but I see her to be overkill here and rather pair her with classic Bennet. Hutao requiring both XQ and Furina is a no go for me. I'd disband the team and send Furina to Xiao and XQ to replace Candace in the Nilou team. I'd argue Nilou doesn't need Nahida in a situation like this because she wouldn't be meant to be versatile but rather be allocated to where she works best. If the abyss fits her niche, Nilou + DendroMC would crush already. Alhaitham hyperbloom with Kirara works amazing, even more with her constellations. I'd send Miko to Tighnari instead with Nahida and Dori.

Navia and Noelle would be fighting each other over field time and you'll end up doing overall less damage trying to balance them - especially when fighting Abyss-tier enemies. Noelle would be better off in either a Triple Geo team with Goro or an on-field Healer-Damage Dealer paired with Furina.

Furina + Hu Tao is a waste. Hu Tao / XQ literally solos bosses on their own. Use Furina on a team that benefits more relatively, like Noelle or something.

Thoma makes sense. Sort of. At C6 he gives plunge attack dmg bonus which is more valuable than resistance to interruption which Xiao can easily do without. You’d need to get enough ER on Thoma and adjust rotations but he’s better than Dehya here considering how long Xiao’s on-field time is and the relatively less uptime on Dehya’s resistance to interruption (which again, isn’t really needed if you can position well).

And then just go noblesse on Thoma even though Xiao doesn’t snapshot. Ideally for the premium version you’d want Furina in the last spot but here, C6 Thoma is just more useful than Dehya.
These are some of the worst teams. Especially because so many of them are going to have ridiculously high er needs. Why on earth would you put Thoma with Xiao.
Yeah if he picked wanderer instead of xiao (could then give xianyun to hutao) then thoma would be way better, though you’d really want Bennett there too. But for xiao it makes no sense

You can proc Thoma burst shield when you n1 cancel between plunges on Xiao. Plus c6 thoma buffs plunge dmg a bit also. It's not a bad idea here

Honestly these type of endgame is much suited for genshin rather than HSR because the amount of time its been out and amount of characters.
