I am from Togo living in Europe, 40 y. old. I do not understand any word from all the music of Oriental Brothers International Band. But my soul and spirit are used to fall deep in ecstasy and tears each time I am listening to. I don't know why, but it is so. There is something spiritual in the performances of this group. Big up for this Band. May African Ancestors bless them.

YES YOU ARE VERY CORRECT, THE ORIENTAL BROTHERS BAND IS SPIRITUAL, IN THE SENSE THAT A WELL ORGANIZED PIECE OF SOUND IS EXISTENTIAL. YOU DO NOT EVEN NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE SPOKEN, BECAUSE LANGUAGE IS JUST A CONSPIRACY BETWEEN TWO OR MORE PEOPLE, BUT A WELL ORCHESTRATED SOUND IS OF A UNIVERSAL QUALITY, NOW YOU KNOW WHY IT RESONATES WITH YOUR SPIRIT BEING😇🙏🏼
This is exactly 2:00am 1st of April 2024. I’m a young woman, who just loves Oriental Brothers songs. These were the kind of songs I grew up listening to in the early 90s.. You can blame that on my father.😎
Oriental Brothers carry the Biafra spirit, the ancestors sent them to sing us these dirges after the biafra Biafra genocide against Igbo people in Nigeria. People are wondering how kids born yesterday all love their track, even people who dont understand the language cry at the sound of their sounds. Biafra is the truth , Igbo Kwenu
This music is magic. I have been listening to Sir Warrior for over four years now. I love this music so much it takes me to another level. The guys were genuinely talented. I am from Zimbabwe and I live in Manchester, even though I don’t understand the words the music itself is captivating. Rest in power Dr Sir Warrior!
The Oriental Brothers International group was quite talented. As I ride my bicycle (for exercise) on the streets of Brushy Creek in Round Rock, Texas, such tracks take me home to Nigeria while bringing Nigeria to me here in Central Texas. Music is truly a universal language: even people who don’t understand an Igbo word, appreciate and are moved by the melodies. Remarkable!! Nigeria is endowed with so much talent yet most of them are wasted due to misrule, greed, and outright shortsightedness. Anyway, the more one listens to the greatness of our beloved musicians from Yesteryears, the more one marvels at the sheer talents of these musical geniuses!! Let’s appreciate these surviving talented people now, and not after they or we die! Appreciation is best expressed in life and NOT in a eulogy!!!
Oriental Brothers music helped our parents to recover from trauma of the Biafra genocide.....RIP Sir warrior and the Oriental Brothers, my late father loved you guys so much, your music is Evergreen and it will never fade, love from Sydney Australia
My name is John i live in the south of cameroon i just can't tell how i feel when I listen to this turns it makes me the african that i am May God bless you guys
Dr sir worrior said it that he is the mouthpiece of the great oriental brothers band and till today nobody has proved otherwise, Rip legendary Sir Worrior.
The Legend and philosopher. Your songs are the reality of today's moral decadence that has destroyed our cultural values. Continue to rest as your gospel keeps changing the world.
Whenever I i listened to this or any other track from Oriental brothers, i remembered my late Dad. He never joked with this kind of music. May their souls be counted among the blessed. Amen.
Some of you may no understand the lyrics, it is quite solemn, used to energise the Igbos of Biafra who lost the Nigerian Civil War- 1 million killed. Indeed, it has a balming and healing effect.
These are those days, when guitar, voice, drums ,speaks differently and later combined everything to be one. Sometimes I ask myself, these people of those days, were really seeing and receiving melody from God. Not what they are playing now. Good music is gone and as been played in the 60s,80s, 90s.
He was a highlife music warrior. He impacted Igbo social and cultural life all over the world with his deep knowledge of Igbo proverbs and cultural philosophy.
Remembering myself driving from Lagos to Owerri playing the songs of the oriental brothers band it's always good morning lagos and good morning owerri. ❤ ❤❤
Awoma's guitar prowess!!👏🏽 👏🏽 ❤️ ❤️ The relentless drums and drumming ❤ Brought and cemented in harmony and in the middle by Warrior's prophetic voice..❤❤ From Alayi in Abia State 🇳🇬and listening from Austin, Texas 🇺🇸in March 2024.
I salute the soul of the great popular vocalist in person of late Dr Sir Warrior whom his death was an impediment to the group's progress . May His soul continue to rest in peace .May l use this opportunity to plead to those who are trying to emulate orientals the 5 fingers to find another work and engage themselves ,instead of disturbing our ears with mosquitoes voice and thereby adding sands to our tea instead of sugar .
My credit goes to Tony Awuma. The lead guitarist. And another dangerous thing here is sir warrior and his powerful voice that no ever replace sir his departure. May his soul rest in peace. And Aloy Anyawu is not helping matter with his badest bass guitar. are we talking about Chife Dansatch with his melody Rhythm . Is it German with his magical drummer. This men are something else.
We really miss the highlife of the duo of oriental, osadebey and Oliver Those were the real music laced with natural percussion May the soul of our legends rest in peace
I love Oriental brothers music so much. It never fades. The music is evergreen in my heart. I'm about 70years now and the music sets me down the memory lane especially remembering my college school years. God bless the group members alive and accept the souls of the departed ones.
it will take generations for anybody in Africa to play music like these guys. The rhythmic harmony in the music they played, fused intricately with quintessential African roots, is unarguably unparalleled. Pure juju music. It is simply nostalgic!
ooooooooh, oriental brother music, is just like aromatic palm red oil, we use to eat original white yam. it touches me deep and feels deep in my faculty. music when the spirit of music was still genuine. when morality and religion were sharing information for a purpose. when music was an art of Evangelism.
Their songs take me way way back to my growing up days. Everything seemed normal then compared to the everyday killings in today's Nigeria. Each time I want to have my sanity I just block my ears with my headphones and reminisce while listening to their songs. Quite soul-touching songs.
Irresistible musical composition second to none. The artistry of this group is legendary. Long live Oriental Brothers International. Rest in Peace Dr. Sir Warrior. Prof. Francis Osita Onukwuli
