To Cliff this is probably just another TV appearance but for a fan growing up during this period it was one of his most memorable TV appearances because of the reputation and following The Tube had. Fans know what an incredible live performer he was (and is)but the general public who saw him on light entertainment shows only got to see the lighter side of him and The Tube was all about showcasing the cool artists of the day performing LIVE. The public got a good idea of how Rock n Roll Cliff was during this period...which they wouldn't have got from other shows. Greatness.
I agree! What a guy! He has helped me so much after my hubby had a stroke. Put Cliff on my tablet and listened to his soothing voice...helped me so much! My husband is healing and Cliff continues to comfort me. You all have helped too. Thanks!
The Silver Album was his best album to date imo, but this song was probably his best from that era, love everything about it especially the guitar solo, phenomenal.

I remember watching this on The Tube in 1985. A great song - great guitar solo. A shame we didn't really see the bass player - was it Mark Griffiths? I noticed Graham Jarvis didn't use the Simmons snare, just the three toms. The keyboard players each had an Oberheim OBX-A by the looks of it. A shame that at least three people on that stage are now dead. RIP.
