@@fluffyclouds555 While true, It isn't going to stop most people from wanting to know. Not that everyone doesn't see that Tom was just A LOT to work for, not to mention how thin they spread their producers.
I came up in May to see the YMH Live. After the show, I walked by the pit where you all were and gave ya'll a congrats but I could see you were scrambling around. This makes so much sense. Afterwards I asked you for a smoke outside by the bar where Enny was picking up some girl with his brand new tattoo. Thanks again for the smoke Nadav.
Regarding the YMH fans that ask for YOUR autograph.... From the fans' perspective, you are not just a podcast producer, but one of the supporting characters on their favorite show. Its like on a late night show, like when Letterman had a great comedic rapport with Paul Schaffer. He transformed from the show's Music Director, to Daves right hand man. Don't undersell yourself.
"Movies were recorded on... Let's call them 'SD cards'" You can actually see Nadav internally stopping himself from ranting about RED's bs proprietary memory cards.
Love ya Nadav. You are funny!! Your laugh lives rent free In everyone's head who've I've shared ymh clips with..I thought Potter leaving was a hard blow...
I NEED your Drumline review. I recently re watched it because of you and forced someone against their will to see it for the first time. Ymh isn't the same without you and I often watched it just to see you as a comedic personality of the show ❤
It’s absolutely fine to own up to mistake, but not important to dedicate a podcast to it. Regarding YMH I honestly haven’t watched in a while for whatever reason. Maybe YMH has gotten a bit stale, or perhaps I’ve been busy or lost interest in all the comedy podcast lately. Anyway I hope your happy with your new work your content, just don’t look back and regret the choice you made bro. Keep it coming!
Nadav we love it when you are laughing your ass off. It actually makes all content better. I have laughed harder when I hear your laugh and I know many others do too. It's actually better content than many others on the internet / podcast world. Amaze balls
I have not really been into your channel because its not reqlly my field on interest, nothing personal. This was a cool episode. You, not being afraid to look stupid, willing to own your mistakes, has gained a sub. If there were more people like you, the world would be a greater place. Seems like a standup guy.
I love this guy so much.. That takes real guts to admit when you made a mistake. "I'd rather come clean & tell them what I did, so we can start working on a solution right away" -Best mindset every employer hopes for in an employee👍
Nadav, this was a great piece of content, for multiple reasons. First, is that you really seem to be finding your footing on-camera, and as the host of your show. Second, is the peek behind the scenes for some stories of how the sauce was made, and some of the stress & anxiety that people with those jobs have, and the degree of difficulty producing a show can have, especially producing a live show. Lastly, when it comes to your work, you own your mistakes, try to get ahead of them when they do happen, and taking ownership of them, even to the point of shielding the crew working under you, so they can focus on the work that needs to continue in spite of the problems that occur during the process. That, is an awesome quality to have, speaks to the content of your character, and has made you a highly valuable resource within that field of work. Really enjoyed this one.
I just heard that you had your own channel here Nadav! As usual, I’m a little late to the party. I’m so happy for you man! Your timing of this video is actually perfect. I just put up a video the other day about production value on UA-cam. I hope that you stay a one person operation. Please don’t fall victim to the what I call “TeamTube” nonsense. We need to be putting the You back into UA-cam! This is what the site was designed to be. A version of public access. Not a studio multi million dollar vanity project for people who are delusional. I was never a fan of YMH but the few episodes I watched, you were literally the best part of the conversations. I’m glad I found your channel and look forward to check out your other videos to see what I’ve missed. Good luck man. Again, so proud of you for getting off that sinking ship and finding your own way. I know you’ll be a huge success.
Dude I cant wait till you are able to start branching out. I've been finally running through all these episodes and I swear I think I could listen to you talk about paint drying and find it entertaining.
I want the Drumline review!! I remember when you said it was your favorite movie on the podcast and I thought it was a bit at first. Then I heard the genuine joy in your voice when you talked about it. You were self aware but didn't care
small part of your intro really resonates with me. i made so many mistakes at work this week and i kept documenting it as my fault. a co-worker was telling me to erase it and never admit that i've made a mistake lmao to just be vague... i on the other hand think my admittance is showing that i tried whereas being vague can be taken as.. not even trying... I FEEL U NADAV i too like to sleep well at night
Dude I feel how honest and true your being. I love it! Just hearing you talk about your experience and your passion is very consumable content. Keep it up!
Thanks for taking the time to make this upload. Your on the fly episode here came out great btw. Hope your team is doing great with the challenges that come with the gig.
Does Nadav still google?…or did he hire someone to do that for him now? That started as a problem/mistake, but later became such a fun part of the show. Seriously though, good episode Nadav. I still think that the bit you did about Drumline actually being a good movie is up at the top of your greatest mistakes. I still laugh about that one. It's crazy how you stayed in character while arguing such an absurd point. Kudos!

When you work for a big podcast like YMH, there should be routines like in television, always having backup versions of the final sequence. That`s really not the producers responsibility though. It`s the editor or the media managers.
