hi sir .. when I run the workflow it got succeeded but with wrong values then in mapping properties I have changed TREAT SOURCE ROW AS DATA DRIVEN and I got correct output.
@NIC IT ACADEMY Hi Chandra. I want to update a column to based on the value from the transformation.. The query is like --update table A set columnA= valueB where columnA=valueA. is it possible to achieve it through informatica by any means?
@NIC IT ACADEMY Hi Chandra. my target table dont have any primary keys in it. Can I mark a column as primary key at Informatica target transformation level and do update? Will it work? Please let me know
Hello Sir, how to compare a null value with another NOT null value? For example, when a null value is updated next time, how will you compare that in IIF(.....) clause since NULL NULL and NULL ANY VALUE
@NIC IT ACADEMY Hi Chandra. At the very beginning of the record, the first condition IIF(isnull(lkp.customer_id), true, false) will return True always. But after inserting the first record, for subsequent records the condition will be false rite , since there is already a customer_id avaible. In that case how the remaining records will be inserted?

No, Both should be set as PK.

Hi Rajesh, No, It will check for each cust_id so it will be new only.

No, if you are using update strategy, you should not use Truncate and Load(T/L)
