You can never pray too much. And God's timing is always perfect, even though we become weary, thinking He either isn't listening or He's not answering. But He's doing both, just in His time. You say you are not a religious man. I don't believe you need to be a religious fanatic for God to hear you. However, He does long for a personal relationship with us, to take time out of our day to spend with Him and Him only. He wants us to read His word daily. The Bible is known as God's love letters to us. I think that's a beautiful analogy. And, He likes it when we have fellowship with other believers, because its strengthens all of us walking with Him. We learn from one another. And the King James Bible is the very hardest for me to understand. I can only speak from my own experience, but getting a NLT, (New Living Translation) that I was finally able to dig deep into God's Word, and gave me a much better understanding. I began to really thirst to learn more. So maybe, God wants you to develop and deepen a relationship with Him, before He sends the soul mate you're praying for. That will lead you to a good Christian woman, and if you make God the top, front and center of your marriage, its much more likely to work out. God will see to it. But He does desire that relationship with us before anything else. Just some food for thought. May God bless you and answer all your prayers, and one day soon, bring you the love of your life.

Six years I spent single after the end of an abusive relationship with my fiancée. I was born in 1992. Wrapped my mind around the idea of praying in 1996. My fiance was born in 2000. I literally prayed for him before he was conceived. Met him in 2021 after a lot of very bad experiences. We're getting married in November 2023 and I want this to be our first dance song. I will pray for him for the rest of our days together. Most think of a spouse when they hear this song. It makes me think of my children. I had a son at 17. I didn't know it then but he saved me, truly. After multiple pregnancy losses I had a daughter (almost died following child birth) with my husband. We had another pregnancy loss and a week later he deployed. I was devastated. We are now in the process of seeing a fertility specialist in hopes of having a successful and healthy pregnancy. I keep imagining looking down at their little face, who they will be, and the healing my heart will feel. For this child I have prayed.

I had been praying and waiting, but when I wasn't thinking about being in a relationship that was when God brought us together and we've rarely been apart since then. At a school dance that we didnt even go together to i found myself crying in his arms because of a loss i was healing from and continue to heal from to this day. This song applies to me. Several years before I met my wife, I literally prayed for her. I asked GOD for the specific characteristics in her, including her height. The only thing I didn’t specify was her hair color. Who knows…? Maybe if I had asked for anything different than what her hair color is now, maybe she wouldn’t have shown up. I guess the Holy Spirit was guiding me and telling me to leave that part alone, because He knew the color I had in mind is totally different from the actual. I am blessed beyond words with my wife and best friend. She is my blueprint from GOD Himself.

We became really close friends, I got to know more of him. I've never been so amazed in a guy but at the same time scared that I am not worthy for him. I was so scared cuz of the past mistake that I made. I was so scared that I had to lie to him push him away. He wanted to stay but I was persistent on pushing him away, so he let go of me. You can never pray too much. And God's timing is always perfect, even though we become weary, thinking He either isn't listening or He's not answering. But He's doing both, just in His time. You say you are not a religious man. I don't believe you need to be a religious fanatic for God to hear you. However, He does long for a personal relationship with us, to take time out of our day to spend with Him and Him only. He wants us to read His word daily. The Bible is known as God's love letters to us. I think that's a beautiful analogy. And, He likes it when we have fellowship with other believers, because its strengthens all of us walking with Him. We learn from one another. And the King James Bible is the very hardest for me to understand. I can only speak from my own experience, but getting a NLT, (New Living Translation) that I was finally able to dig deep into God's Word, and gave me a much better understanding. I began to really thirst to learn more. So maybe, God wants you to develop and deepen a relationship with Him, before He sends the soul mate you're praying for. That will lead you to a good Christian woman, and if you make God the top, front and center of your marriage, its much more likely to work out. God will see to it. But He does desire that relationship with us before anything else. Just some food for thought. May God bless you and answer all your prayers, and one day soon, bring you the love of your life.

Most think of a spouse when they hear this song. It makes me think of my children. I had a son at 17. I didn't know it then but he saved me, truly. After multiple pregnancy losses I had a daughter (almost died following child birth) with my husband. We had another pregnancy loss and a week later he deployed. I was devastated. We are now in the process of seeing a fertility specialist in hopes of having a successful and healthy pregnancy.
I keep imagining looking down at their little face, who they will be, and the healing my heart will feel.

I prayed daily for God to send me someone to cherish, then my now wife showed up with the apartment manager to view the vacant apartment above where I lived. A couple of trips downstairs to borrow sugar etc 😉(slipped a few poems under her door) and we just celebrated our 20th anniversary this past December!!! God is great, all the time! Don't give up on him or love, then when you are least expecting it. He will place a sweet soul in your path and destiny will write the rest of your story! My Andréa is the sweetest most selfless person I have ever met. I can say it proudly, that I have my soul mate, my person, my angel to spend the rest of my days with! This may sound weird.... but believe it or not, as early as 9 years old I was praying for my husband. I knew early on I wanted to be a wife one day & I just knew deep down in my heart that God had someone very special for me. My favorite song at 9 years old was God Blessed The Broken Road by Rascal Flatts ❤ At 16 I met my husband to be. We married at 21 & I walked down the aisle to that song. It was a dream come true 😊❤ This song is so beautiful & it truly touches my soul. The first time I heard it, I couldn't help but to think of my incredible husband & cry a little. 🥰 September 23rd will be our 6 year anniversary ❤😊

I had been praying and waiting, but when I wasn't thinking about being in a relationship that was when God brought us together and we've rarely been apart since then. It will be 11 years in September we've been together and 9 years married September 13th😊. Things have not been a walk in the park but I'd rather hang on for the ride than be without him. He is my best friend and loves me unconditionally. He tells me all the time how he prayed for someone just like me. That God filled his wish list 😊. I went through a lot of heartbreak and heartache before he came along. But when I found God I realized that I didn't need to be treated like that anymore that I was more important than how I'd been allowing myself to be treated. And when I started being able to be alone and loving myself that was when I met my husband 😀. God bless!

At a school dance that we didnt even go together to i found myself crying in his arms because of a loss i was healing from and continue to heal from to this day. This song applies to me. Several years before I met my wife, I literally prayed for her. I asked GOD for the specific characteristics in her, including her height. The only thing I didn’t specify was her hair color. Who knows…? Maybe if I had asked for anything different than what her hair color is now, maybe she wouldn’t have shown up. I guess the Holy Spirit was guiding me and telling me to leave that part alone, because He knew the color I had in mind is totally different from the actual. I am blessed beyond words with my wife and best friend. She is my blueprint from GOD Himself.

God immediately gave me a sign that yes, he is the one. A year after our graduation he admitted his feelings for me and that he had been praying for me since way back then. We became really close friends, I got to know more of him. I've never been so amazed in a guy but at the same time scared that I am not worthy for him. I was so scared cuz of the past mistake that I made. I was so scared that I had to lie to him push him away. He wanted to stay but I was persistent on pushing him away, so he let go of me. Even though I dontr rely my happiness on him, it was just a few days ago when I realized that I had become the worse version of me when I let go of that one person whom God already sent to help me overcome my inner demons.
