If his hand was up, ref calling it. Just one of those shots you have to live with
Pacers choked 😢😢😂
I agree.
Nope, can't if the hand is up, the hand up. He didn't attempt and brown had a open 3
Exactly. And people are going to go nuts about it. Pacers were so clutch towards the end. Ended being a dog fight. I hope the C’s can just wrap this series soon
Honestly fouling jb is better. He’s 60% in this playoffs from the ft line
He made the right decision. JB made a tough shot. Period.
They ment foul before the shot so jaylen only shoots 2. The pacers have a choice foul or let the celtics shoot for a 3. They did not make the right choice and it happens
@@rockafeller3734they didn’t learn from the 2 times Middleton killed them like this just last week, nothings gonna change.
That was not the right decision , what are you talking about. Pacers made zero correct decisions down the stretch actually
@rockafeller3734 It was a good inbounds play. If they had played it better, they could have got the foul, but they didnt.
Yup plus if he close out too close, they reviewing it for a flagrant as well. Tough shot by JB
Bro hit a tough shot. It is what it is.
Hand down, bad d
@@xavierb9061 nah, P made the shot a tough one. Refs for sure call it if he raises a hand. Jaylen made the shot of his career.
@@bubbasaylor3951 no hand down, hes pro
@xavierb9061 And pro refs are calling that. Lol. There was already contact...any movement, and he would have been called for a foul and wouldn't have altered the shot at all
Better off having him shoot 3 free throws tbh even if it was a dirty foul bet they would of won....
The delusion of all these non-professional NBA players who think they could have done better than Siakam at that scenario is so absurd.
wtf is a “non-professional nba player?” If you’re an nba player you’re a professional 😂
it definitely would have put him on the line for 3 free throws, he made the right call
I agree but at the same time he could put his hands up without fouling.
@@thuggwaffle8825thank you.
Yeah, you foul his ass and make him earn it at the line. At least you know that ball ain’t goin’ in on your watch 😂
Bro was honest and he made the right call. If you foul him and he gets the 4 then you lose any opportunity to win. If you let him shoot it’s 50/50 between OT and a dub. I would have done the same thing if it was me
It's a tough shot, almost everyone would expect him to miss that
Exactly
Definitely not 50-50. I’m not going to say it was a lucky shot, but it was certainly a low percentage shot. Making sure you don’t foul there is the right move, and you live with the results.
Pascal been playing his tail off for Pacers
It's not like he just gave him a free throw of a 3. Siakam played that well, knew brown was off balance. If he puts a hand up ... Even brushes Brown's motion when he is falling back? Not worth the foul. I miss the old days where PS can just defend.
It’s SORT of just like the opposite of the SGA PJ Washington play that decided the West quarters. SGA , and everyone who covered that game, said in hindsight SGA should have just let PJ shoot that 3 and live with a miss or a make. After he forced the initial pump fake, you just gotta not reach across his arms and try to block the 3, just let him let it fly, maybe try to scream something while he shoots to distract, but you can’t risk a foul on such an important shot. Sometimes I think players don’t realize that fouling on a 3 is much worse than just letting them shoot it even if they make it. Most players who are shooting that shot late in games are good enough FT shooters that they’ll make all 3 pretty easily. You turn a 30-40 percent chance at getting the 3 points into a 70+ percent chance at getting all 3 points if you foul.
SGA fouls: haters, Siakam doesn’t foul: haters.
Damned if you do damned if you don’t right!?
People forget he got a ring with the raptors and played magnificent.. smart play by the young man 💯💯
For sure
💯💯💯
lol they was just getting on shai for tryna block the shot now he didn’t in the same position and it’s a question lol
Completely differnt the pacers where up 3 and the foul they are talking about is before the shot went up so jb shoots 2 free throws while shai fouled and the mavs where down 1.
I love how your talking about a completely different game and player and you acting think it applies 🤣
@@rockafeller3734Funny how Shai even says he shouldn’t have fouled him. Exactly what Pascal did. 😂
Shai was waaay over playing that shot. And Kai had it anyways. This was a lucky shot that went in. Good players hit big shots in big situations. Shit as much as he’s paid it’s the least we could expect as nba fans.
Im happy to see Siakam going deep in the playoffs again.😅
Nah good call imo. I’d rather give up a contested 3 than 3 free throws.
Nah they should’ve fouled before he even put the shot up. 2 shots and they get the ball back still up 1.
@JS-yi9crtrue
@@sar4806that's so fuckin risky ma boi, ..They can intentionally missed free throw + offensive rebound. Pacers got a good decision, but that one is a lucky shot.
Knowing Jaylen, he’d miss at least 1 free throw if not 2
Wasn’t contested tho. No hand was up
I’m a Celtics fan but that was a good decision yall seen what just happened to SGA
tbh, id rather take that, the chance JB missed a free throw is good enough for me rather than what happened
@@chaos5840if he fouls, and JB makes it in, it’s likely gonna be a make
@@EshDerp1425_Monke and if brown missed the shot, that was not an easy shot. a little bit of contesting would have changed the entire series
Everyone in that photo just watching the ball damn
JB dont get enough respect. This dude gaving another great playoff run
Nah good play by slakim made the right decision sometimes u just gotta tip ya cap great shot
Completely wrong decision. They should have fouled and gave tbe ball to their best free throw shooter
Definitely the wrong choice 😅
He did the right thing. The foul should have come from the team before Brown was even in that position with the ball.
But what really killed them was the out of bounds inbound play right before that.
Jaylen Brown made a tough shot. Hats off to him. But that was poor execution by the Pacers on that last play. If they come out of the huddle predetermined that they were gonna switch everything, and communicate with each other better, then TJ McConnell could get out there in time to foul Brown. You’re four wins away from a trip to The Finals. You have to be more focused and execute better than that.
It was a good play call. They did a decoy screen. P stayed low so he could chase Jalen to the other side and and still gives effort and make the shot uncomfortable. It was just a good shot. If the switch all that’s gonna happen is he will shoot over a shorter defender. Defense is better than offense but better offense/tough shots are better than defense. They did the right thing and we can coulda shoulda woulda about everything
Well played, big shot made.
He made the right call. Fouling him on the 3 point shot would’ve been worse.
He make the wrong call
Should have foul him
Dont let him shoot period
Lizzy understood 😂
Lizzy u nerd u don’t understand basketball 🏀
Lizzy u geek
scapegoated my guy when Haliburton can't even dribble
Haliburton with the self sabotage
100% should be Hali explaining himself not Pascal
that was a smart play
Put your hands up at least
probably thought he was going to get called for the foul where he kicked his legs out so he was scared to fully contest.
Bruh do yall not understand space? 😂
All y’all had to do was call a timeout 🤦🏾♂️
Exactly.... Call a time out and advance the ball so we don't have to inbound from our side 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻 man the neighbours probably heard me yelling
That's not the reason. Haliburton unforced turnovers far outweigh this
Na, they was up and coughed the ball up smh I was surprised they was bout to win, guess the pacers were aswell
Yeah those were killer eff ups you can’t have. Especially being a leader. But he’s young. He can learn from it
If Mike Breen gave the double bang, you know it was a touch shot.
The pic is tuff
Pascal is a class act.
His English is really solid
Cameroon is an English speaking country (half French , half English actually)
*OKC?*
It was the right play
Why is nobody talking about how the Celtics shot triple the free throws
He played good defense. Jaylen just played better offense. All you can do in that situation is tip your hat.
"It was a bad shot"
- PG
If Jaylen got the foul, he’d probably miss the free throw, no offense to him.
*This guy reminds me of myself tomorrow*
Powerful. Courageous. Bold.
Yall should have switched everything & fouled whoever touched the ball.
Then the screen would have been a none factor..Pacers blew a golden opportunity
Nobody :
Paul George : That was a bad shot
Marincess coral anemone secret 1st ed is kind of crazy.
What do you think are good pickups for future water support?
You didn’t contest it well. You should have distracted him better than standing still
Stfup
You don't know basketball
It's a very difficult shit
You didn’t watch the video 🤣
Hand down man down 😂
Smarter than shay
He lost the game for his team.
That shot won’t go in the next 15 times. Shit happens. Playoffs are always fun for it.
This ending proves the script is real.
That's a 300 Million dollar shot 😂
Scheiße ich gönne es beiden und freu mich einfach auf ein game 7, soll einfach einer gewinnen. Irving und Edwards so sympatisch
JB’s shot so good siakam knew he was about to shit himself
I think he defended that play perfectly, by not fouling
He knows he was really playing the refs he can hear tony brothers boutta blow that whistle 😂
Bron & JJ LITERALLY JUST SPOKE ABOUT THIS SHIT LASTWEEK
i personally think they should have fouled for 2 freethrows, but it was really their last 2 turnovers that coughed up that game
Siakim v Jaylen
I didn’t realize he probably should have fouled until the very end. They are up 3 Jaylen brown is a 60 something percent free throw shooter right now so imagine trying to process all that info while playing at full speed so you have only seconds to decide. Halliburton lost that game for them
Would’ve pull a SGA move had he put his hands up. 😂
He didn't do a Shai mishap
but could’ve fouled him before he even started shooting the ball to give him 2 free throws up 3
He did the right thing
Anyone notice ESPN put up a graphic for JB saying “first career game tying 3 in the final 10 seconds of any game”? Where do they come up with that stuff? Just last season he hit a 40 foot bank shot with 3 seconds left Vs Miami to tie. Everyone here saw it I bet. And then in 2021 or maybe 2020 he hit a game tying 3 almost at the buzzer Vs the Houston Rockets after either he or someone else missed the second of 2 FTs and it got back tapped to him perfectly and he rose up and drained it and let out a scream!
Ya boi shot a dumb 3 pt shot early when y'all had the lead ......that loss was not your fault
PACERS Should of had #9 on the ball late in the game. He was ready for the moment!
Celtics fan, but at some point you just have to tip your cap, JB made a good shot. PS made the right call at that moment he didn’t want to risk the 4 point play. I get it
Way the refs were calling it, if he raises a hand they’d call a foul.
Brown made a tough corner bank shot 3.
It’s all good this just show this not gone be easy for the e Celtics at all they really not the better team
Shouldn't have been in that position and should have switched. Defense wins championships.
Brown just made a difficult shot. It is what it is. Tip your hat to him for making that shot
They ask the most stupid questions. We should get rid of post game media, make them find new jobs.
Forget the shot, how about the inbounds pass they couldn’t hang on to when up by 3 with 10 seconds left in the 4th? THAT is what killed the Pacers!
Sports, especially basketball, are fast paced. To make a split second decision like he did is tough. JB made the tough shot and it is what it is
A church league player knows to put there hands up to contest a shot.. please stop it's not rocket science kid smh
If you foul him and he misses he now has to go to the free throw line and hit all 3 tho. Cmon Siakam we needed game 1. Would’ve took life out the Celtics with that win.
Bro sound like Donnie thornberry lol
Bro i just smoked and randomly seeing this yo im DYIN 😂😂
😭😭😭😭 nooooo done 😂😂😂😂
Jalen is a physical player. So he going to automatically draw a foul intentionally. thats a good call.
Delete your comment you are so lost kid
If he fouled and gave away a 4 point play then its game either way. Made the right call. Bro made the difficult shot, win some n lose some
Tough shot - hand up he gets called foul. Good play by Siakam - im a Celtics fan
"Tough shot" 😂 no one can say that after everything george has been though these past years
Right call, you can’t foul a guy up 3, if he catches the ball in shooting position behind the line. At that point you gotta hope he misses.
Bro gotta stop thinkin
25 free throws… 5 free throws… first 48 minutes… and the Celtics still needed THAT shot plus overtime to win Lol okay NBA, okay.
He did the right thing. It would be a four point play. It ok pascal just win game two in Thursday
Isn't it just accepted in the nba that your not supposed to foul in that position?
He did great defending it here and not fouling. But he should have fouled before the shot wth
Can’t blame Siakam, JB hit a tough shot
Are you blind? Look at the picture and tell me where his hands are? Down??? of so I can blame him for the lost? Ok I'll do that
JB has been horrendous from the line these playoffs too.
all season actually
He still should have actually contested it, not put his arms behind his back like a literal dummy.
It’s hard with the ticky tack foul calls.
Wish it can be just play ball in the playoffs!
Took all this for celtics to win one at home. Pacers in 7 baby
Not about wether foul or not, he didn't fkn contest the shot
They were up 3 with 8.1 seconds remaining and had the ball and turned the ball over on an inbound should have used their timeout and set up a better play idk why the coach or someone didn't use the timeout in that situation
Look what happened to Shai
OMG just stop. It was the wrong decision. Brown would of been lucky to hit 2 outta 3. Pascal had the turnover that lead to the shot in the first place...
They should have fouled before the shot.
Pacers can definitely give the Celtics problems this series
That was a foul the refs are blind as shit!
at least contest that shot
Thank you
Rigged
Exactly the league do what they want
The Pacers gave them the game last night... should have taken the foul. Also should have called T/O on the inbound play. Mental mistakes.
I mean 4 + 3 = 7 😂
Siakam couldve still put his arm up. He just put his hands behind his back and tried to be away from Brown. SGA stupidly jumped up in the air. If Siakam put arm straight up, no jumping, he wouldve at least made an effort. But here is zero effort
If he had put his hands up, the refs were going to call a foul. Did you check the free throw for both teams. The NBA wants to see Boston in the finals, and I don't blame them. I think the pacers even want to see Boston in the finals. 😅😅
Boston might be king this year.
He sold the play before anyway
