First episode: Darrin's mother is so annoying! She thinks she can just go anywhere in the house she chooses to, open any door without asking. If Darrin thinks his mother in law is annoying, Samantha's is far more so. ~~~ Second episode: Madame MarushKA, what a bit mouth! It would be hard working with her. She never shuts up. And she's so loud she gives me a headache.
Yes, I never have liked the character of Darrin's mother. Nosy old busybody and she had a very annoying, shrill voice to match! I really couldn't stand when she constantly would say "Frank, I have a sick headache!" Her voice could give someone a sick headache! 🙄
They were written to be adversaries on purposes! Great actresses! Great cast when York was still on. Didn't care for Sergeant. Too stiff and unnatural. Guess he did his best.
@@marycouvillion1135 Exactly. There had to be a snooping human or two in this. Mother-in-laws in '60s comedies were purposely written to be seen as annoying and arch. Also agree about Dick Sargeant. The Dick York Darrin and the first Mrs. Kravitz were similar in their expressions: wide-eyed shock. And Dick Sargeant and the second Mrs. Kravitz were both snippy, sarcastic and shut down characters. I could easily see Samantha with Dick York, but Dick Sargeant?? Sargeant got the job because EM was friendly with gay men. Apparently, she'd wanted him as Darrin from the start, but something happened and he wasn't available.
My most favorite childhood show
Classic TV bewitched funny and crazy 😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
It is amazing how Darwood picks and chooses when witchcraft is allowed. 🙄
That's what I was thinking... when it suits him🤔
Darrin deserves this. Endora is right. He is getting exactly what tears Sam has shed by❤ getting rained on.

I agree I don't like his mother. Don't like Mrs. Kravits either. They were just terranical women- only my opinion.
