If you dont like people going to cars to buy "drugs" legalise them so they dont have to buy on the street, and realise most of the time its just weed.....
ConaaG according to BBC statistics Cocaine is the second most used illegal drug in the UK with 2.6% of the population having used cocaine at least once in their life but only 0.1% (< 66 thousand) of the population regularly do cocaine and cocaine use is more likely in middle class to richer areas. Cannabis regular active use is 7.6% of the population (around 4.8 million peeps) with 13% of the population having smoked weed at least once in their life. (8.5 million) So with the statistics I would say its highly likely that it's just weed.
@@gozuam1617 I said "most of the time" even your statistics show, weed is most common. Never did I say its ONLY, Im saying if you see someone go to a car and hand something over and walk away, most likely they just bought cannabis, yeah sure it could be, coke, ket, acid ect or just someone gabbing their phone off their friend because they left it, but MOST of the time its bud...... I dont see why this matters so much, legalise it all and people wont need to buy on the streets
Drug dealers most of time don't mean much harm just trying it make money and people who buy drugs need help cause they are addicted so focus helping people with drugs more
Can anyone really justify any drug not being legal? It's your body. If you commit crimes to "fund a habit", it's not the "fund the habit" part that matters it's the crime. So if drugs are legal and crimes are dealt with properly, what's it got to do with anyone what someone buys, sells, and puts into their own body?
Ps: same goes for making weapons possession illegal, possession isn't the problem, neither is their use even (eg: self defence). Only when they are used to victimize others should it be a crime. And plus, do people really think making something illegal will stop criminals having it? The clue's in the name (criminal) all it does is make law abiding citizens defenceless.
People use drugs as an escape from the conditions they are in, you dont make them stop wanting to take drugs by threatening them, locking them up and ruining their lives even further. decriminalisation is the only way you can take this 'crime' off the streets and into the hands of professionals. Its incredible how short sighted some people can be
Decriminalisation would encourage newbies. Like for instance if ciggerates was illegal... So many wouldn't start or even be hooked. Same with Alcohol, if it were illegal... There wouldn't be so many people drinking. Also for addicts to keep getting their fix it would be easier to just go back to drug dealers who will ask no questions or even check ID.
@@thisisarmando8393 that is just NOT true, take Portugal for example, they decriminalised drugs which actually led to a drop in drug use and an increase in the amount of ppl in rehab. Making drugs illegal just creates a high demand for supply because it’s harder to obtain & ppl are more desperate to get their hands on it. During prohibition days in the US, people were still making alcohol in their bath tubs and supplying it to others. Making these substance illegal as I’ve said makes it worse
@@annmendes1361 So you’re telling people start using because “it’s harder to obtain”? That makes little sense and as some who has smoke cannabis many times I can tell you it’s the easiest thing to obtain.
@@annmendes1361 Prohibition actually worked as it was meant to. It vastly reduced alcohol related crime and the vast majority of people obeyed the laws. People just claim it didn't work because it didn't totally eradicate alcohol, and also ignore the fact that certain states just refused to enforce the laws anyway.
Cuz I'm Black? No my religion is true. I guess they were busy trying to purge the racists, who pick on people just because they are dark skinned, and subjected to slavery at some point in there history, Leaving the victims angry and spiteful towards all people including the religion that uplifts them and holds them equal in the eyes of the creator. But these victims actually hold there oppressors and the system of there oppressors in high regard, quite clearly these are baffling times.
Sorry to say it but these folks don't understand the size of the drug problem. Those deals like the one at the car are happening millions of times a day all over the country, how the cops ever meant to police that.. legalize them all, take a leaf outta Portugal's book.
@@SPARKY832010 Who is society to tell you what to put into your own damn body anyway. The war on drugs was lost from day one. I reckon the government would legalize some drugs in a heartbeat rubbing their hands at a new source of tax n vat but are too scared of generally older voters opinions. The stats coming out of Portugal don't lie, and for problem drugs, they push very penny saved from punishing users n dealers straighy into treatment. It's time to grow up and be adults on this issue bcos drugs are here to stay, is it not better to control then than fight them. And imagine the time it would give cops to fight violence, rape and such
Because some people aren't as well educated as others... Don't do their research... Get onto worse and worse drugs... Get addicted... Can't afford it... Go to other avenues (like theft) to make the cash... Become a complete waster in society. Arguing for drugs is much harder than it is to argue for it against.
This is just untrue. The truth is actually the opposite. Millions go into paying for law enforcement, the judicial system and prisons. It's a huge tax burden. What needs to be done is weed should be legalised and taxed. Prisoners should be forced to work full time in prisons to cover the cost of running it while making a profit to go back to the government. American prisons do this and it's a billion dollar industry. This will result in money being generated that the government can then spend on healthcare, education, infrastructure, renewable energy etc. Criminals who are drug abusers of certain drugs should also recieve mandatory rehab and detox. Quality of life in prisons should also be reduced dramatically and there should be longer sentences to discourage crimes more effectively. Perhaps even double the sentence for your second offence of the same type. This is necessary to slow the growing knife crime epidemic.
@@lazell Prisons are usually owned by a private company that is given money to run by the government (at a profit) So while it costs the "taxpayer".. Prisoners, by being in prison are generating some people substantial amounts of money...
@@lazell Seriously? If drugs were legalised 1/2 our government services would no longer be required. That's the reason why drugs haven't been legalised. Need create problems to justify taking your money and skim from the top.
I take drugs and I hate it when someone under the influence of alcohol starts giving me abuse, vomits on my shoes and then repeats the same damn story whilst sobbing and then passing out on the floor in a pool of their vomit and urine.
I understand the damage drugs can do but come on. If people are not bothering you then don't poke your nose in their business. You tend to find it keeps the peace. Have daily objectives, conduct your business, mind your business and you will attract next to no trouble from others.

If you dont like people going to cars to buy "drugs" legalise them so they dont have to buy on the street, and realise most of the time its just weed.....
@Creepy Shadows howd you know that?
@@kaydar2488 coke dealers literally go to the same person multiple times a night, there's more activity with cocaine than weed
@@bbc6 Statistics? Cannabis is the most consumed illegal drug, makes sense it would be what most are buying.......
(8.5 million)
So with the statistics I would say its highly likely that it's just weed.
I think there’s a good case here for minding your own business
The government focuses on brexit not on social issues

Cuz I'm Black? You clearly have no knowledge of the Quran
Sorry to say it but these folks don't understand the size of the drug problem. Those deals like the one at the car are happening millions of times a day all over the country, how the cops ever meant to police that.. legalize them all, take a leaf outta Portugal's book.
yes yes my don.
Everyone who’s annoyed about this has clearly never bought drugs 🤣
Legalise it then? Then people can get their stuff from the shop instead of the front of your house...
The problem isn't drugs it's drugs being illegal.
The goverment wont take em off the streets because it generates too much money!
