I don't think he quite understood Christ's message when he told a rich man to "sell all you have and give the money to the poor". The poor are not his concern, as they are not related to his fundamental love of and faith in riches from his childhood.

Piers Morgan was confused about his values 6 years ago and remains so. It is hypocritical for him to claim to be a Catholic and reject fundamental Catholic teaching.
Today he is trapped in a paralysis of analysis with regard to Israel's response to Hamas and raises ad nauseum the question of "proportionate" despite its legak definition and his being told many times by his intellectual superiors what it means.
He's either a heretic, an apostate, or a schismatic. Take your pick. Here are the definitions:
"Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same;
apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith;
schism is the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him." [Code of Canon Law c.751]
So, Piers Morgan is at best a heretic. Because he said he obstinately denies a truth which must be believed. And is obstinate in his denial. He is also at the least guilty of scandal. Its one thing to privately be a heretic, but to pronounce yourself a Catholic who believes in heresy on television. This is the mortal sin of scandal, a grave evil, which he is also guilty of.
I honestly think his answer was completely fair hes allowed to have his beliefs
Even though I might not agree with him in all aspects, I must give credit for being so solid and consistent with his views and arguments. Quite rare nowadays that somebody in his position has the courage to confess Christian beliefs in mainstream media, while perfectly knowing he will be despised for that.

If "the Laws of the land "encourage murder of the most vulnerable in our society: the Child in the womb," even although "Life" is truly sacrosanct, it is imperative that the people who uphold a so called "democracy" must and should be fully "Educated".

JRM is a Catholic and raises his children and his opinions are to believe in what he has to teach his children. However, gay women and men are able to marry. The institution of marriage is able to cater for both gay, straight, swingers, this is a sin and will be forgiven by God.
No it won't that's totally wrong. God's forgiveness is not freely given to sinners, in fact the creation of the description of what a sin actually is - clearly was given in order to make the point that gays will not be forgiven until they stop and repend.
You can't just do whatever you like and call it good. Homosexuality is a sin, and to gain forgiveness for it you must at the soul level ACCEPT that it is actually bad and wrong and not ever do it.

Holding a view is fine until you are in a position to change the laws and seem well inclined to do so. And that is the problem. Far as I am concerned, its NOT my choice to make. Its a responsibility that can not and should not be FORCED onto anyone, and that its better to NOT have kid than for that kid to be raised in a home they were not wanted or to be put into the system. I FULLY recognize my view is, to some, extreme, and I accept that in a society of diverse mindsets, in order for us to love together mine might not be acceptable enough. Fair enough, which is why I "accept" certain limits, ie no government funding, even a limit past the 2nd trimester. It called compromise. I might not like it, but I am practical enough to realize that until people naturally move to my position and away from religion, this is the best I can hope for. Its funny that marriage was first documented in 2350 BC, the Catholic church was founded in 30AD, over 2000 years later. His definition of marriage being decided by the church is not only wrong, but blindingly arrogant.
