It is beautiful as long as he is vocalizing behlaway from lower part of the belly. But it is worst when he is singing raggi taans and when he yells, it gives a feeling that two cats are fighting each other.

There is an Agra Bheem which is a bit ike Bhimpalasi but yes otherwise Bheem and gawati are essentially the same. In such matters you always have some exceptions here and there.

I edited this and made 8 clips and joined together, cut the yelling, shouting and talking and now it is much better. The bandish Ek na Rung is beautiful. Whose bandish is it? Who sang it originally?

Shafqat sahab showing off his worst excesses as usual. If he would stop the stunts he could be a great singer. Aik do minute kay sur kay baad kachra bana detay hain. Nazakat aur Salamat Ali Khansahab ka yeh raag sunain.
I totally agree. But this is what he thinks the audience demands. I think somebody needs to tell him that your vilambit is the best, and after that you should either stop or sing the drut in a slow, controlled tempo and control yourself a bit. Its too much energy, but in the wrong place.
That is a fair comment, he probably perceives this is what people want to hear. I guess that is what makes platforms like Lahore Music Forum important in the first place.
I do feel there's slight improvement. This is still the sticking point though. His references should be his sublime Rageshree & Pahadi!
exactly. And his aiman kalyan alaap simply has no parallel. But again, this only applies to his alaap. When he comes to drut and then somewhere in between the 'baat cheet' with tabla player, he loses it.
