Watching this video with my Zeros that just came in today! Absolutely loving them so far. The bass is intense for sure, but not overpowering in my opinion and very pleasant. Perfect IEMs for gaming and movie watching that also sound awesome listening to music! Now looking forward to receive and hear the 7hz salnotes zeros too :)
What type of gaming? I don't like them for osu! or overwatch but I suppose bass heavy audio devices aren't great for hearing footsteps in first person shooters.
Nice review! Personally not a DD fan, love the signature of BAs. When will you have your collab? Feel like we have similar taste lol Looking forward to it.
I need some help here, been enjoying the heck out of the Zero x Crinacle, I really do and now I want more. What would be a good upgrade or next level IEM, dont wanna spend the money and regret it since Zeros are really good. 100 to 250 budget. Any suggestions? *New to IEM world btw* been a headphone guy all the time. Fidelios H2XR right now I'm looking at the Raptgo Hook X and the S12
@@CurseOxuin sure, im in the discord so ill post about it there once they finally arrive. But based of the chipping issues with aria (among other things) its likely the zeros will be the pick, but i personally do like the aria snows
Decided to listen to the test track for a change on my GS Audio GD5 and it sounds quite nice. Unlike the TruthEar x Crinacle Zero, once the pinna gain starts going, it just plateaus until around 9kHz when it starts to drop off, so these definitely have plenty of treble resolving power for vocals and instrumentation. Their tuning looks a bit weirder than they sound, because I really do like how these sound. I did like how my GD7 from GS Audio sounded a bit better, but those died a gruesome death and I have yet to replace them because they're a bit pricier than I'm willing to spend just now for that kind of tuning. I'll get around to it eventually, but I think I'd rather try something new before then.
By the way if you want a recommendation for a song to test sub bass...No More Pain by 2pac. Holy moly, when you crank it up. It definitely illustrated how much more sub-bass and treble sparkle the Ikko OH10 has than the Timeless (which I'd probably choose as a better IEM).
Hey! Love your presentation style! Do you think you could also review the Moondrop Dawn dac / usb-c dongle? Trying to figure out what pair of iems to pair them with. Would be nifty staying within the Moondrop ecosystem to start out.
Enjoying the Zero way more than I expected. That cable is pretty horrible, but at this price that's expected and I swapped it out within an hour. Easily my favorite IEM under $100 for EDM and Pop after only a few days. Other than the soundstage, it actually competes well against my IKKO OH10.
Would you recommend this or the MOONDROP Aria Snow editions ? I currently own MOONDROP SSP’s and wanted to get another IEM, I wanted the Aria snow editions but now the Truthear Zeros have come out and I’m stuck between which one to buy (I use IEMs for just listening to music on UA-cam/Spotify and gaming) Is the MOONDROP Aria snow editions worth $30 more, or should I just get the Zeros?

would you consider truthear over Aira? i have limited budget so if the difference is vast then I'll choose Aira if not then I'll go for Truthear+other accessories, thanks.
Well it depends on the tuning you like and the kind of music you hear. At this price point there won't be a huge difference in technicalities and for sure aria would be slightly better there given the price .

I am really interested in getting a pair since crin's original sin because I'm a filthy bass head, loves gaming, rock music and EDM mostly, and It's kinda rare for crin to tune a low-end heavy IEM collab so this is really convincing. (and having a dedicated sub woofer as its selling point really seals the deal for me, not to mention on its quite affordable price tag) One problem I might consider It's that I heard It's quite hefty to drive? Won't it sound good on my everyday phone and laptop? Because I don't really have a serious audio interface for it, help would be appreciated ^ ^ thank you
Well if you are still considering buying some. The you can’t drive it out of your phone Argument is just straight up bs with these. These have 10 Ohms with 117db of sensitivity you could probably blow your ears up out of your phone with these.
I know this might be a horrible comparison. But I just bought the Tinhifi p1 max on amazon for $109 was this a good deal? Or should I just get Truthear Zero and save $50?
I really like the sound of the Zero, but I find it extremely uncomfortable to wear. :-/ A part of it is easy to fix -- the cable feels harsh and sharp against the skin, with the bend far too tight to fit my ears. Grabbing another one solved that. The worse part is that the nozzle itself is so huge I just can't find any tips that will fit without discomfort. It would probably be okay without that massive 6.75mm flange right at the end...
