- I notice a quarry on my way through the Cotswolds, so we stop to check it out. Manager is not happy about the drone going over, but why?

The Site Manager showed integrity and professionalism.
You again, as in most of your videos proved to be antagonistic in the hope to provoke confrontation and reaction for no apparent reason.
The site manager stayed calm against your entitlement and pedantic attitude.
You demonstrate a consistent lack of respect for the individuals involved regardless of their nature.
He persistently asked you not to stand at the entrance for your own safety given the risk imposed by the frequent HGV movements in/out from site, however once again your self-entitlement and conceitedness gets the better of you.
I will vow not to watch anymore of your videos.

Just respect the guy’s wishes, remove yourself and your car of the land, he has said several times that he can’t stop you taking your drone footage, you are trying to hard for a negative reaction.

What winds me up is you earn your £100 for your video. You don’t listen to a reasonable man running a business asking you not too, you do it anyway and film all of his personal belongings and post it and you move onto the next. You open up the land to overnight thefts and people swimming in lakes, you heard his rationale, do the decent human thing and go somewhere else he seems like a very respectful and honest person.

@@Sol-Cutta just decency really if someone doesn’t want you to do something that concerns them and their land is coming decency to respect that decision. Something modern society lacks to care for a fellow neighbour.
How do you know what he earns for the video?
Why is it always someone 'flying over' or 'taking pictures' of a 'site' that is the reason for their 'problems'. Parliament doesn't agree with you and all of the man/ hours that has created all of the documents that allows people to do this, including CAA, Police, etc means that this is legal. The time to object to any of this is at the begining before the legislation is passed through the usual 'democratic' process that you actually 'voted' for, so less emotion and more intellect.

I can see his point a bit about the lakes because sadly nearly every summer we hear about someone, usually a child,, loosing their lives because they choose to swim in them. What I never understood though was why are quarry lakes full of junk that people can tangled up in? How the quarry worked was definitely an interesting video though. 😃 👍.

People think it's safe to swim in quarry pool,s but they are very cold. That's why people drown in them you get muscle cramp. Some are very deep.

Manager went on about safety and the dangers. I didnt see any of that in the video. Manager knows he must keep the dust down hence why he jumped in the water tanker. Probably not on the list of things he wanted to do save fuel and his time. Unmanned reception was the biggest safety problem , but manager cant be in 2 places at the same time, need more staff children could just walk on this site and put themselves in danger. Good audit good information, business needs more signs, more staff, and maybe someone on top of keeping this dust down as its not good.
I don't find these commercial audits of any value. I can see the reason for auditing publicly paid staff. I mean, we all like to see the cops put in their place. This is just boring.

@@DJEMEDIAthey don't , u went to bawsey pits in Norfolk didn't u ??? Or was that DJ ??? That's a ex quarry with huge pools and sand next to them like mini seaside's, in warm weather the place is packed and the quarry pit lakes are also. Very pretty place.

There is such a small amount of decent spots on inland UK where to swim in clean water. I don't know why some of these old quarries can't be turned into nice swimming and diving spots?

These quarries are taking the piss. I was working up Cheddar, window cleaning, and there was lorry's up and down to the quarry there along a country lane every minute, literally.
The householder was saying they start 6-6.30am but happily usually taper off about 4-4.30.
But these quarries thanks to Hinkley point and other projects, are lot busier than was originally agreed on.
The traffic and damage they produce is on the increase. Probably why he was defensive and worried because they do deal with a lot of genuine objections.
