It's a relatively short fall from the basket to the table. It scared him more than anything. BUT, the thing is, this was all intentional. The baby was not IN the basket. He was on top of the basket because the blanket was set so high that he was essentially sitting on a mound above the edge of the basket. Any movement at all would cause him to roll off the basket, which is what happened. But I think she also intended for him to then roll right off the table as well. And that almost happened. Had he not grabbed onto the basket with his foot, he would have gone head first over the edge of the table. A terrible double accident. Except it wasn't an accident.
I mean what exactly could make her think it's ok to put a newborn on a cushion on top of a table? She acts like a idiot too

Infection occulaire non traitée, surinfection par des doigts sales, l'oeil commence à s'enfoncer dans l'orbite, qui est possiblement brisée. Il sera au moins borgne, et aveugle si l'autre oeil se contamine. Manque d'hygiène élémentaire, et de soins en général. + malnutrition.
