Finding some of the comments interesting 😊... BROS is a character study of two people stuck behind the armor they built up over years of self-loaving. Aaron is an emotionally disconnected sexual stud, unable to plug into heart, Bobby is all brains, facts, and historical knowledge, but has no social skills. We follow them through a journey of finding their humanity. Their love for each other changes them into caring, compassionate men with hearts. Note I said men... Theyve learn to love each other and to love themeselves, only mature men can really love others.

I’ll admit Bobby is very arrogant and obnoxious, but at least he doesn’t and never once told anyone ever to *tone it done and not be themselves* that’s what everyone did to him in his life including Aaron and that’s why Bobby is the way he is.
Why that - in my opinion - puts Aaron in a negative standpoint compared to Bobby is because he did the complete opposite of that for Aaron; Bobby was the one and only person ever to encourage Aaron not to be ashamed of himself for his passion, to pursue it and become who he’d always dreamed of being growing up: a chocolatier and he did because of Bobby despite the fact that Aaron told him not to be himself after Bobby opened up to him that all his life that’s all anyone said to him growing up.

I’m just saying that Bobby encouraged Aaron for his dream and Aaron told him not be himself after Bobby opened up to him that all his life growing up people critiqued his persona, mannerisms and voice and that’s why he is the way he is and then Aaron did the same thing to him because he was going on about LGBTQ history to his brother and parents, not because he was being an ass (at first).
And so, it’s okay for Aaron to do that to Bobby but if Bobby hadn’t encouraged him to pursue his dream he might have never found the confidence to become who he always wanted to be?
And the argument Bobby had with Aaron’s mother is proof that he oversteps a lot of boundaries unfairly I acknowledge, but he made a valid argument that children now should have the right to be educated about the LGBTQ community (gay history he said really) so that they can feel confident in and love themselves and others for who they are and hopefully won’t grow up feeling ashamed, embarrassed or being bullied and discriminated against.

I dare to ask ? What’s the correlation of the song and the movie ? If your calling the movie toxic , check your reality. The movie pokes fun at gay men and their ridiculousness .
