its so cool and relaxing how everybody is polite, understanding and patient, in other parts of the world everybody is always trying to be first, or be "clever" and pass other cars without regard for everybody else on the road...really nice to watch!
That's because in Italy the taxi/Uber system it's messed up, only Uber black is allowed (it's called NCC) and the Mercedes vitos is the most used car for that service
Not quite the same as the start of The Italian Job. Great driving and he really knows the size of the bus/coach. In UK there would be swarms of parking wardens giving out tickets galore!
Great driving skill. It is safe driving that gives way to the other person without overdoing it. It's like Japanese standards. I want to ride this bus. Where can I ride? Thank you for the wonderful video. From a Japanese bus driver.😍😍😍
Apparently 'pov drive 4k' either couldn't be bothered to mention, or they wanted to keep it secretive that this "narrow mountain road" trip goes from Amalfi bus park to Sorrento station. Amalfi Coast is mentioned at 0:03, but that doesn't suffice for us nerds. This is in Italy, south of Napoli.
As italian living abroad i ofte hear that italians cannot drive, specially from scandinavian people.. well llok at that and learn! Great calm and competen driving...
I have driven in Norway. The same thing there. It is not as hard as it looks. I can guarantee you. Even if it looks like milli meters on the video is probably more like 20-30 centi meters. One simple principle. Use every inch of your road. Are you close enough to the mountain? Watch your mirror and put your back wheel on the lines. As simple as that. I would rather drive a bus there (on Amalfi coast) than in a normal city. However. I did not like the Campania region. Too much stress, Lazio region was better. Now they have those annoying Kvaradonas and Osimhens (some weird Lobotka) too.
The coastline, the buildings, even the walls on the road all look very beautiful BUT there's too many damn vehicles clogging the whole place up, enough to make me not want to visit there.
Cool to see a driver taking account for the least ones, pedestrians and bikers. In Holland, bikers are less safe... We here have an "unclear" but significant rise in traffic accidents, deaths. Easily the finger is pointed to electric supported bikes. But I know many drivers especially in SUV's are the real problem. They drive like bikers do not exist. Just today in Utrecht, a town with about 3-400000 bikes. I drove there on my motorbike 25 km/h, careful. Those SUV's tried 40-50 km/h, far to narrow passage with the bikers and pedestrians. I felt a shame. Proud on the Italians, they can really drive. I knew that from 2007, but now I am sure again.
This appears to be directly out of the town of Amalfi westward towards Naples. The landscape is gereat, as are the houses up the mountains but the road is hardly fit to be negotiated by buses. I wonder, are there many accidents on this road? And, by the way, you don't hear much of an engine from the bus. Is it electric?
wanna know the irony ? he has a tattoo with " freedom " , but i bet house and my car that he is triple boosted the moment he heard Green pass was mandatory.
Why, it isn't going fast. And the worst thing that probably can happen is clipping a mirror. And for Italianen it's just fact of live. And off course you can enjoy the scenery. (TBH for them it's just normal)
its so cool and relaxing how everybody is polite, understanding and patient, in other parts of the world everybody is always trying to be first, or be "clever" and pass other cars without regard for everybody else on the road...really nice to watch!
That's not totally correct, the driver says in Napoletano something that is not so polite :D
like my country😂
italy is not how you describe it and theres plenty of youtube vids of this same road where folks are impatient/yelling/etc.
@@LOLHICRONO U expect Italians not to yell? 😂
Respect for those driving skills!!
Ein Künstler und das meine ich wirklich!!! Bravo!!!!

@Waldemar

In my head, the back of the bus takes shape like some sort of snake when moving around corners, like how you’d see in a looney tunes episode 😂
What ever thay are paying these driver's...it isn't enough!!.💕🇮🇹
I agree
They are paying 100K euro a month. Not enough?!
If you had to drive in some narrow roads of Iran, what would you say?I think, driving in Italian roads is a kind of hobby or a kind of a picnic

The property at blind corners sells for cheaper due to the bus honking all day long. Can't imagine getting used to that. Bella guida.
I finally found my new favorite channel

There are a lot of crazy driving styles in Europe, Italy defenately has some character!
UK is the hardest country in the world to drive in. Look up a road called hard knot pass
It is very common in Asia. Park wherever you can!
