I used to do this all the time. it can really help to smooth out your style, so you dont look like a SUP with their wack ass style. it will help smooth things out, get those arms under control
Skateboarding is about kicking, rolling, turning and carving...and kids now days think that they are skateboarders cause they can ollie but they can't stay on their board and just roll...but we are called posers??
this is focused on the motions of surfing.. and having fun. Nobody cares what you can really do unless you're a pro. Just have fun and have other people have fun
If you use an regular skateboard you can do all these moves. I've been skating that way since the 90's, way before this surfskate trend. If you already know how to surf, it will help you with muscle memory and make your tricks look sharper and with better style

I remember when I was a kid and I thought that a chick they could skate was my ultimate wish if I had ever had a genie that was willing to Grant Me 3 wishes I would have told him I only need one give me a chick that skates and now I realize that every single chick that can skate is just out there chopping hearts out and sliding them down roll-ins and never giving them a second thought. I know I sound like I'm a bitter dude that got his heart broken by a skater chick but that is not the case I'm just looking back and realizing how vulnerable to the idea of the skating chick I was and thanking God that I never found that chick that skates that set her sights on me. I've had a few skating female homies, but they never bothered to rip my heart out. One in particular definitely could have but she was very kind to me and made sure that she was very clear at all times that things were staying squarely in the realm of homies and never led me on. If she had ever found it convenient to flash me the googly eyes for whatever reason I would have thrown myself at her 100% and been devestated afterwards but we were just solid pals because she didn't bs me to get my money and I have mad respect for her because of it.

On the surfskate I noticed, that I only feel safe when I am goofy on the board. What does that mean? Shoukd I switch to goofy at surfing? I am right handed and also right foot kicker.
