- It's a wet and cold December 2023. We are visiting family in Limpopo, but we take a short left to Mapungubwe before driving back to Pretoria.

Hey Tumi, not personal at all 😂. We book in advance for accommodation and we save during the wait for the trip. We avoid restaurants we go for self catering it’s cheaper.

How are the roads going here? And besides the pool, is there anything interesting? Wanted to go but we heard the roads are horrible and its too hot
@neoandprissy the road to Mapungubwe is horrible and it has been like that for a couple of years now. Apart from the pool there isn't a lot you can do, game viewing is nothing compared to the Kruger Park. It was ok but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.
