Can't beat the plough and the one pass
Nice one Gerry
Trust in God Almighty
He looks after his own
A lot of rain Gerry a friend of mine was telling me today his contractor was cutting maze today in dryish ground the water was lying in the tracks of the harvester took the whole day to cut sixteen acres those lads are heroes doing the impossible
I’ve never seen as much rain fall in the month of October. Getting very serious and with the damage Newry and carlingford suffered yesterday it’s crazy
You were worried at the Barleycorn!
The weather is an absolute nightmare Gerry, we may just forget about field work for the rest of this year and hope it dries up for the spring. You would think we are due a long dry spell soon.
By some miracle we have dodged all the rain up here in mayo, cattle are still out and not marking land and boggy land at that. I imagine the rain will find us soon though
Keep your spirits up Gerry. Hope you give the jd, a pump of grease on the joints that got submerged.
The whole of Ireland seems to be getting hit pretty hard this year along with the east coast of Scotland and England with rain, while the islands 150 to 200 miles north of Ireland have hardly had a drop over the last week or two for a change
Good stuff
Lots of flooding here in UK as well 😮
And warning out for Wednesday and Thursday for more rain with amber warning for wind which might change to red 🤬
Take care stay safe cheers🙏
Brave man Gerry. That was some flood. No bother to the tractor
Great video and the are some serious floods round the country
I always thought of you as a yachtsman, just didn't think it'd be a John Deere! Nice bow wave you got off that crossing.
Wow! Incredible! All of that water every where! Almost 48k subscribers!
Its a bit wet there. Last year we broke our annual rainfall record with 4563mm. March 2017 we broke our 24hr record with 1250mm with 912mm of that falling in 6 hours. And this is Australia.
Great video Gerry. It’s wet here in cork. The little river beside me. Largest flood was 1.78m deep. Last week 2.28m. It’s unreal at the moment
Flooding is shocking altogether my god ☔️
Brilliant video gerry fuck that flooded road was dangerous
At least the 3650 wheels got a good wash
Good video Gerry 👍 good to see the telehandler back in operation 💪 thats about the same amount of rain 🌧️☔ we had last week and just had another 2 weather warnings for today and tomorrow 🏴 😳😕 hope things don't get any worse for you over there 🤞👍
Great video Gerry. Enjoyed watching. Hopefully weather picks up 🤞 👍🏼
That 36 sounds so gooooddddddddd 😍 best tool in the yard
Great video Gerry that is serious flooding 👍
That terror some flooding
Crazy
Wow that's nuts!!!
Holly shit all that water.....
I feel your pain. We had similar floods in Roscommon in 2009 and 2015.
Awful isn’t it. Houses and business flooded. Disaster for farmers. 2024 Crops already danaged. Yards flooded. Mess isn’t it

Shocking. Slurry tanks filled with water, silage pits flooded. God help them
great video some rain
There's a slight chance of a tractor taking water in the engine breather pipe, but not as serious as if it went in the air intake.
I know. That’s what I was nervous about. I don’t think it made it up that far looking back at the footage
great video rain is just awful
👍
Hi Gerry how come you used the newly refurbished trailer rather than the other one for hauling manure ?
I went shopping yesterday. I found a new nice Britain's JD 3350. She had to come home. Got a JD 6120m to pickup
Nice model. I’ve both those. Nice detail for the price.
Great video yes it's some weather alright enjoy the wedding Gerry drink one for me 👍
That's a lot of water Gerry.
I'm subbed to all but haven't had a notification in weeks until this came up in recommended.
Bloody yt.
In the age of big bales I can't believe you have so many tractors and 1 tele handler to rely on why don't you stick an old loader on one of your tractors as a spare loader in case of a problem with the tele handler even a puncture and you can't feed the beasts till you get it fixed
Yes it’s a Good point. We have talked about having a loader tractor. It might happen.
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
Legend as always 👍👍
@@gerry6420; what dept of water do you think is safe to go through in the tractor, 4 foot ish ??.
How badly does the flood impact your grassland. Will you have to replant
That's some flood Gerry. Hope the spar lorry didn't attempt it. Be no need for a PSV wash then!
Hey there Gerry! How is availability of spare parts for the John Deere telehandler? We have been thinking about one and were just wondering if parts were still available.
Did you ever get the hill field that you took the hay off of grazed?
Flooding is frightening what county are you in ?
Ireland, northwest Europe
Co. Louth
he said county not country you idiot @@PaddyGun
🇮🇪🇮🇪🙏🙏👍👍
Why do you have northern registered equipment when your residence is in the south?
Because Gerry has a property in Northern Ireland
Gerry you will be forever welding rams ,had same with mantiou weilded several times tried all sorts ,heating it up ,brake cleaner etc all failed ended up getting a new barrel made for the ram have not weilded another ram just get new barrel made , must be something to do with oil and the weild that just does not agree 🤔
