I have been away from God for most of my life but have never experienced TRUE hardship....every thing in my life has been easy....I never gave thanks to God. Now I find myself alone after losing my mother. I wad not kind to her and I am consumed with guilt and regret. I wish that I could take her in my arms and beg for forgiveness. She loved me SO MUCH. I made some terrible decisions and find myself in a precarious financial position. My children are grown and have their own lives and problems. They are as supportive as their lives allow and do not need a sorrowful mother giving them more problems. I cannot go back....I know this...I am turning to our Lord for comfort and help. I did not thank Him before for the good grace that I had in my life ...of this I am painfully aware. I am trying to give thanks and count my blessings. I know that there are many people in a far worse situation than my own and I pray that they receive God's help and blessing. I hope to live the rest of my life with Jesus always at the front of my mind. I wish that I had done so before I know that I have been forgiven but I am a weak human who needs to be reminded constantly of God's grace and acceptance. This video has moved me to tears and seems to speak to me directly. I have been away from God for most of my life but have never experienced TRUE hardship....every thing in my life has been easy....I never gave thanks to God. Now I find myself alone after losing my mother. I wad not kind to her and I am consumed with guilt and regret. I wish that I could take her in my arms and beg for forgiveness. She loved me SO MUCH. I made some terrible decisions and find myself in a precarious financial position. My children are grown and have their own lives and problems. They are as supportive as their lives allow and do not need a sorrowful mother giving them more problems. I cannot go back....I know this...I am turning to our Lord for comfort and help. I did not thank Him before for the good grace that I had in my life ...of this I am painfully aware. I am trying to give thanks and count my blessings. I know that there are many people in a far worse situation than my own and I pray that they receive God's help and blessing. I hope to live the rest of my life with Jesus always at the front of my mind. I wish that I had done so before I know that I have been forgiven but I am a weak human who needs to be reminded constantly of God's grace and acceptance. This video has moved me to tears and seems to speak to me directly. I'm sure that many of you listening feel that it speaks to you also..May the Good Lord Bless us all and may we all find our way back to the fold and commit to live our lives as we should....spreading joy and putting others before ourselves. 💗
