Station wagons are very popular in Germany and Opel's Astra is no exception. In Germany, half of all Astra models sold are Sports Tourers, the moniker Opel gives to its station wagons. But can an elongated compact really hold much cargo?The trunk's flat cargo bed and side walls make for easy loading. When the back seats are folded down, cargo space increases from 500 to as much as 1550 liters.
