Apologies for a mistake in this video, there was also no Britannia minted at all in 1994. As well as 1973 like I mentioned. It's a bit unusual not minting a Britannia at all in 1973 and 1994 but doing so in 1992 (Commemorative years). Thanks for watching.
Took me a while to catch up with all the years of the large style 50ps, but finally got there. Just a few of the smaller (and more expensive) ones to go 😁
Thanks with the information on the 50 pence coin the old ones are a lot more thicker than the new ones and also more heavy than the new ones and slightly bigger than the new ones as well so there you go.😊
I was surprised at how many NIFC 50p's there are. I have been collecting proof sets more recently as they seem to be great VFM. Did you wash that tenbob note? 🤣😎🍀💜
Can I ask if you would share a link to the cards you use to store your coins? I’m a collector but the shoebox is getting full and needs sorting! I think they look like “lighthouse”? Ones perhaps but please can you advise the dimension you have in this video?

I buy from Andy Jack on eBay, I think the larger 50ps require the 32.5mm but current ones fit into the 30mm.
I really wish the 50p had stayed in the original size.
The weight soon adds up when you've got a few in your pocket I reckon! I do like them too though.
I have 50 Pence Elizabeth ll 1973 ( 1 coin), Thanks

Dday you mean VE Day?
