BIG on the intro and outro soundtrack 🙌 Lovely nineties-style pads I miss. Thanks for the killer library of pre-made loops tip Felix. Just the other day Sonic Charge dropped an AI script for enabling a smart way to browse through and customise endless patterns, and I was pondering doing this. I will try your method using Abe's built-in effects, but those are cool 3rd-party fx recommendations. Infiltrator reminds of a beefed-up version of dBlue 🤘
@@jamesfish search 90s techno pads, there's plenty of examples. Most were taken from samplepacks/presets like those found on the Roland J series synths of the time.
I will be delighted if you consider doing a serie of videos about Live performances. Sampler or Synths ? About wich machines, mixers or not, laptop or not, Midi controllers ? song management, songs transition, etc...
Do what makes you happy. Don't worry about what other people do. And please don't think that artists have a 'workflow'. That's bullshit. They do what they feel like at the time, just like you.

Would say THE BEST drum synth in the vst world. I really don't know any other synth with that possibilities in drum synthesis. I am talking about synths only - no vst with any audio content.
I agree, it’s a great drum synth. I actually bought a LXR 1 because of the similarities. But for another budget tip if you want a hardware version, then MicroTonic is great the the PO Tonic from Teenage Engineering.
Question 🙋♂️ Felix - if you have a drum rack in ableton or a drum group couldn’t you just use VST plug-ins in the daw without needing to creat loops? What’s the benefit of having drum loops in making a track that’s going to be in ableton anyway? This makes sense to me if I was going to chuck it onto my Octatrack but not sure what else.
It is a deliberate creative choice. I like to work with breakbeat samples a lot, in part due to some of their build in limitations like overlapping drum sounds and their complex sonic nature. By creating synthesized and processed drumloops I create something that of course sounds very different from a breakbeat, but allows for a similar workflow leading me to new ideas that I wouldn't have had I synthesized each drum sound individually while building a track. Anyways thats just one way to work. Very often I still create each sound individually, but it helps to have some of these loops on hand.
@@felixfleer4507 that makes a lot of sense thank you so much for replying. You videos are always so amazing and helpful. Thank you and can’t wait for more content in 2023 ❤
LXR-02... I love it! Bought it after spending one year on the Volca Drum. It can do very complex stuff
Saaaame! Well, after two years with the Drum to be exact 😅 Drum is great (especially for the price) but LXR ist my fave drumsynth since i met them 🥰
Nice one! Thanks for sharing the ideas!
Good to see you here, love your videos!
Hey @@Chris-qq7mt! Thank you!
another great presentation. thanks!
Love this kind of content!!! Always learning stuff with Felix 🫶🏻👹
Another great Thomann/Felix video with lots of ideas to try (and more tips on interesting VSTs to get). Thanks 👏

Great content again! I've recently been blown away by shaperbox 3.2 update for drums. Have a great year everyone!

I’d love a tutorial on that kind of pad sound… haunting!

part 2 please
If you freeze the the first track, you can drag the frozen clips to a new track instead of clicking through every single one.

For a smaller budget give "MicroTonic" from Sonic Charge a try! Great Drumsynth VST

@@AriMusik So true. My friend and Zurich legend Boris Blank from Yello uses this thing almost on every track since release.

What's the point of a real human drummer with all the kit if you can just use an MPC? Because it's not the same.
I just wish the music could be dipped when the guy speaks. It’s not easy to find a level that works for casual listening / learning

Very cool but basically a long commercial.
And this is how today's music is 👉💩
Ok...
Don't worry, Phil Collins is still kicking.
No offence 'El Rock Latino Vuelve 2019' but the music on your channel is pretty derivative, not original or sonically interesting.
LOL! You are one to talk!
