New max damage combos have been found in season 2 where finishing with a qcf1 is the better option since its the most damaging option he has. The rule of thumb is that the combo must be 5 hits only where the first hit is the one that launches and the 5th hit is cd2, after that a qcf1 is 100% guaranteed, in the df2 example it will if you do df2, cd1, df1, b2, cd2 s! and finish with a qcf1 it will deal 65 damage and they cannot escape it, if they try to techroll the damage will go up by 5 making it a 70 dmg combo, the only thing they can do is hold foward when they are falling, it will make them do that insta getup and reduce the damage by 2 points making it a 63 damage combo which is still the same as your example but gives much better oki after. if possible, update this with these enders. I love the work you do on these videos and would like to help you in any way possible
I thought if you quickly techrolled you could do a fast move and trade of hit them out if the air, also this may not work an characters with very fast spring kicks(king armor, king, and eddy)
That is inaccurate. You can gain more damage using that tool but it is dependant on the opponent's action. If the opponent decides to chinese get up, the damage will always be less than on any combo in the video.
Edit: Didn't notice you addressing the same thing i did already while reading early in the morning, sorry. I also do know of that ender and have posted about it already during season 1. But as i've always said about guaranteed hits at the end of combos, i don't consider them a true combo since the opponent's action dictates what the damage ends up being. When you can't put a solid number on a combo, it just isn't a combo to me, but rather a guaranteed hit at the end of a combo, which is why they are not on this video.
I have no clue what all of this means i'm a tekken noob :p
You’re the only person that actually makes true max damage, lol be your work. Keep these combos coming ( I want one for lee)
my favourite character since PS1. Thank you for this guide ^^
It's at this moment that I realize I've only scratched the surface of Yoshi as well as tekken in general.
me too XD
J King Thank You! Yoshimitsu is my main and I’ve been dying for an updated vid.

@@ridhanni_aidid ???
@@gtothee5723 hahaha i was just jokin
Thanks, man! These are really nice combos.
That KIN f+2 at the end of every combo is fucking KILLING me I just started using button buffering
Only 2 days ago i was searching for yoshi season 2 combos and now look at that surprise!
God, your work is amazing. Thank you so much!!!!
That float combo uses one of Yoshi's busted animation delayed neutral hop kicks! I've been looking for a use for those. The other one seems to have all the properties of avoiding the puddle but with a really high (still mid) hit box. I get it by accident (because I'm a spaz) a lot when trying to delayed hop kick after roo kick.
Nice king costume
Thanks for this 😊❤️🔥👍
Excited for NSS 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Max damage is good and all but f+3+4 into FLE+1 for oki and resets is a video I'd like to see. But thr amount of work you put in to all characters is astounding. The amount of time spent labbing has to be years
It is :)
Yoshi needs a buff
no.
@@tekkenjam Very much yes.
@@cureamyosheen9100 hes the strongest character in the game. He has self-heals,the quickest parry that sets up a free launch, useful stances, insane distance with his swords. what needs a buff? Maybe you need to just get gud?
@@tekkenjam Oh okay you said he has self-heals, that just proved to me you're new. Sorry bud, at your level maybe he needs a nerf, I was talking about high ranks
@@cureamyosheen9100 youre stupid as fuck he has 2 stances for self healing. in high ranks hes placing top 10 in tournaments consistently just watch eyemusician. even if you dont think the self healing is viable it forces people to engage you instead of kbd's
In f/3+4 u can run with sword twice which gives u more damage, just make sure u have enough range when doing the launcher and u will succeed
Ch ff3 best combo is just to kin transition and kin1+2 into a free bt d1. Damage im pretty sure the damage is the same regardless of what the opponent does, and it does 82 damage. I havent looked too much into it, but that seems to be the best option
It is the best option of course, but it isn't a true combo, since the opponent's action dictates what the damage ends up being. The real damage of that combo is 66 BT d+1 is just a guaranteed hit, not a part of the combo if you ask me.
@@Hunt4iSW fair. That combo looked u did looked way cooler too
Nice
ahw man i cant wait to see these combos why make us wait😢
Dude i love you!!
this video is amazing.
But off of SS2. 1,3(screw), FF1+2(spike), then back chop. more dmg. not listed as combo but its guaranteed.
Yes, there are guaranteed hits which make some juggle worth it, but this video is strictly combo damage based and doesn't include those.
Good stuff! really struggle with dash iws4! = ( will there be nss?
Premiere tomorrow
"YoShImItSu DoEsN't HaVe DaMaGe"
But he has flash
It is certainly not the one with the most damaging combos
his most reliable BnBs are lacking compared to most characters. this is a max damage showcase and under perfect conditions you will land these combos, but I find using cd1 and NSS flash during juggles to be pretty inconsistent online and when even slightly off axis (but maybe i suck). generally though, your plan with yoshi is to go for oki game and tech traps because those are his strengths. max damage is there if you need it to end a round or something though, of course.
Great Job Bro
Thank you
Excellent video, been re-watching it ever since it was posted. This post comes a bit late I know but I do need a little bit of help with the SSL f+3+4 FLE2 ender combos though. From FUFT I can pull it off consistently if I delay input for d/f+2,1 to S! at the last moment possible and the SSL window seems to be somewhat forgiving but from WS+2,1 to pull it off regularly, the following 2 seems to have to be hit on the very first available frame, all moves done as soon as they can be performed and the SSL window is tighter. With u/f+1+2 I can't even do it except by accident, I always catch the opponent with all 4 steps from Kamikaze instead of only 3. Is the timing different depending on the starter or is there something else that I'm not seeing? Any hint would be appreciated, been trying the SSL juggles for the past three days and can't seem to figure them out.
2 things have to be involved for it to work. The timing (specifically hit the legs when they are falling down and closest to you) and the angle has to always be the same so the hitbox and hurtbox collide just the right way. That means that you have to make quicker steps with some launchers than some others.
@@Hunt4iSW Got it, time to hit practice again and get the feel for each one. You are a legend for figuring this stuff out, these are the most fun combos I practiced in some time. Big thank you :)
@@Hunt4iSW A bit of an update, it's coming along nicely now so thanks again :) The combo from WS2,1 at 3:38 is the only one doesn't need the SSL to realign (as far as I've found), only have to do the f+3+4 just as the opponent's back hits the floor. Works on all (small, mid, big) except, of course, those damn bears :))) on bears after S! you can end with d+2
I now realize why all of yoshi frames a Garbo. If he had a poke that was +6 on hit and left you close than he would be op.
I'm having trouble consistently landing WS+4 at 0:42, is there something I'm missing? sometimes it does as I want, but other times the person stays on the floor or isn't touched at all
just practice the iws4. you should get it to really look like it's an instant move.
If only my hand would let me do the cd+1 or 2 or 1+2
I need some advice on how my fingers should move
Instead of moving the tipof your thumb accross the d-pad, your tip should be placed in the midle and by rolling with your finger its side should tap all the directions, in this way you are faster and more accurate
Just picked Yoshi for fun. What's the secret with getting BT4 to hit after F, F3 on that UF3 combo?
Speed
@@Hunt4iSW Plain and simple, hah. Managed to get it few times, tho it feels so inconsistent that I'll probably use something different. And I thought Nina's combos were difficult.. Sheesh
@@alikaponen yeah i cannot for the life of me get the 4 to land on back turned.
Love the videos man a more in depth Yoshi if you could spare time
Hey king does ff 1+4 connect after d/f2 in the combo (ch d+2 2, d/f2, ff 1+4 ,b2, cd2, f 3+4 fle 2)
Of course!
Hey king does bt 4 connect after u/f+3 ff4?
Yes, it is shown on the video.
@@Hunt4iSW yeah sorry but its difficult perform your combos
😅
@@mnlme5076 Ohh absolutely!
@@Hunt4iSW how much time do you take to perform those heavy combos
Hey im having a difficulties... i can't seem to hit the d2 2 1 after S!
The d2 2 connects but the 1 always miss
no okizeme here?
I have to practice on iws4
I think yoshimitsu is one of the hardest characters, agree admin?
To fight against him, to play as him or to combo with him?
J King play as him
@@mka2709 Well, he doesn't have any execution barriers or anything like that. I'd say it's more about being creative than skilled with Yoshi.
J King thanks
Yoshimitsu wins
It be do!
Lol every move is a launch (Jk I love yoshi.)
If only I could crouch dash :c
0:44
I dont think these combos are gonna work in console I've been trying a couple of these like 13 combo and I was only able to do 2
They do work, very timing specific though
@@Hunt4iSW trust me I tried if u try these combos on controller u will not hit them all btw nice vid and I got to learn some of the combos so thank u
@@MiniMoonMan. What do you mean by controller? Controller is what I did them with
@@Hunt4iSW how!! I freakin try and try to do the moves as fast as possible like the combos where you the flash then pres down with 2+2 which is Y I cant connect many moves and also there are other moves that are hard to do and if I cant do it in training then no way in hell I can do it online 😂
I stg u pc yoshi users have it so much easier💯
Does the u/f2 to flash still works in ss2? I tried that in practice mode but it seems extremely inconsistent
It's a guard break but if they actively block, then it won't
