Thanks, Donny. Reserving spot for campground is not that hard. Black Rock campground or Indian Cove are good spots. Spring is best to experience cacti blooming in the desert.
Thanks, Sammy. There’s the CA Riding & Hiking Trail in JTNP and it’s a great 31 miles 3 day backpacking trip crossing so much beauty. The group may soon come back to JT, it’s getting cooler now. I’ll send you an invite.
Neat pottery shards! So cool to see some of that still out there! To think crown prince had a lookout warning station for World War II airplanes located in that area.
Excellent Trip!! so nice out there... Roxana has an aeropress too those things are great/ weird "sun dial" or whatever... thanks for taking us along! // i was sort of the first viewer last night but at that time it had not finished processing and was only in 360p so i came back today to see it in full hd great job
Thanks. The aero press is getting a lot of praise, I might get one for myself too. It’s so frustrating that it took me more than 12 hours to upload and I was fixing the new TV set to attach to the wall when I accidentally unplug the computer. Ugh! But then I re upload and I think that’s what happened. But thanks, Thorn for you support. We might be going back next month with a bigger group.
@@20robertang actually it usually takes half an hour or so for full resolution videos to be available, regardless of source quality. If you try and view a video immediately after upload completes only lower resolutions are available and then after a little while all resolutions are available... glad you get to go back, be sure to check what the group limits are usually it is around 12 people maximum, more than that and you have to split up and camp apart, check the rules
Great trip Robert. Thx for sharing. The best man I've ever known, my grandpa was born in 29 palms, and was a die hard desert rat. Every spring he'd take is to indian cove joshua tree. When he left this world for a better place, everyone in the family took a part of his ashes and we all spread them over indian cove...so ya joshua tree is a very special place. Take care brother
Amazing story, Mark. We camped one time in Indian Cove and did rock climbing in Short Wall. Your dad is in better place now, but you can still visit the place and reminisce the old days when he was still around especially in that place. You take care as well.. hope to see you soon.
Nice time of year to wander around Joshua Tree... I need to get out there soon. That pottery sherd was cool. Hopefully it was left behind. Nice edits dude.
Thanks, Andrew. Such a magnificent place.. Californians are lucky to a place like this one in our backyard. We finds things there but never take any.. except for photos and videos. Might come back there soon.
Great trip... awesome video. That looked like fun... Great group to enjoy the trip with. Perfect weather for a desert trip. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Take care Robert.
good seeing all you guys again. It's been a long time. The pottery, I wonder how long it has been out there and who took it out. The thickness makes me thing its modern, uniform, spun on a wheel, so maybe 70's? I have an ex g.f. who is married and her and her husband detect out there every few weeks. They have found some cool stuff, so has Derreck. Glad you guys had some time as a group. Thanks for the video Robert. Best wishes to you all.
Thanks, Alan. We missed you out there. Such a great place to explore. Those pottery pieces could be from a few decades back. Lots of stuff to find like old beer can with pop up lid, golf ball, chopped stone for tool purposes and alike. I hope you’ll go next time I’ll DM you the info. Thanks again, hope to see you soon.
Awesome video. And great coffee shot.
Ha ha ha. We always remember you during morning coffee.
The best! Thanks Robert for capturing all the beauty from our trip.
You’re welcome, my pleasure hiking with all of you guys. And thanks as well, I enjoyed the company. I can’t wait to share another trip soon!
Epic location, but with a crew like that anywhere would always be a treat.

You’re welcome, Martin. I truly enjoyed putting up a video for the group. See you in a few..
You make me want to join your JT Camping adventures! You always have such great off-trail locations.
Thanks, Sammy.

@@20robertang Joshua Tree has a ton of history out there. So many sites that are off the beaten path that don't show up on any of the maps.
