Hey there, Aman! I wanna master Artificial Intelligence. The problem is that I'm just 12 years old and the level of maths AI requires isn't of my level. Like Linear Algebra, Calculus, Statistics and Probability. Could you please make a video and help me out with it? Thanks!
Hi Thanks pl focus on maths and statistical concepts required for Machine learning and Deep learning. Can you also suggest some books required from beginners level to intermediate level ? Thanks
Hi Parag,I already have a playlist on my channel please watch that. I will add more videos to it going forward. Thanks for your feedback. Stay Safe. Take care!
+ramaraju vuppu Hi Ram, you can get the link for Introduction to data science playlist in description of this video. I will put the videos in python playlist as well. Statistics ML and DL will be ready soon. Thanks for your feedback:)
+Satyaprakash Pandey Thanks Satyaprakash. Yes you can find data science introduction playlist link in description of this video. I plan to created separate playlist for python, machine learning, deep learning, statistics as well.
Hi Aman, recently started to watch your videos, hats off to you bro, you are really amazing, today I get to know practically why derivative of x2, is 2x, One request to you, can you make videos on tools used by Data scientists other than python, to survive in new job such as GITHUB, DOCKER, PYSPARK and Any other tool which are compulsive for Data scientists. Please make a video on that Aman.
*Hii sir I m new here actually sir I m going to pursuing CSE.Before starting my first semester I m watching ur this video. Is it useful for use... I like ur teaching method.*
How much time should i dedicate to maths everyday for data science? I am also learning Python and doing basic python projects at the same time. My maths is extremely weak as i have forgotten pretty much everything about calculus and so on.
Loved your explanation. I have a request. Plz sequence ur playlists. So we can easily follow which playlist to learn first. Thank you. Love from Pakistan.
Good Suggestion Awais. First you can got to "Introduction to data science" then "Statistics for Data Science" then "Python for Data Science then" then "End to End ML" then any other playlist based on your choice :)
+Goldbridge Fan Hi, I created this video for covering high level calculus concepts which we must know so that understanding machine learning and deep learning is not difficult, however there are more to know when it comes to various algorithms. I plan to cover those concepts when I discuss algorithm in particular. Stay tuned for upcoming videos and all the needed topics will be covered. Thank you
If the second-order derivative value is positive, then the graph of a function is upwardly concave. If the second-order derivative value is negative, then the graph of a function is downwardly open. This knowledge can be used in practical scenario
Great. But can you explain comparing this with a business scenario. Like, how these slopes and those "areas" in the integration concern us? Sorry but I'm not able to relate the math with real life stuffs.
Sir can you tell me why they say Btech is not necessary to become a data scientist ? I am looking across linked in and other job portals. Eveb for a data analyst job they are saying you should have a btech or maths/economics/statistics as subject in Graduation. Everyone nowadays saying anyone can become data scientist..doesn't matter if you had maths in graduation or not. Then why people like me who have tools knowledge have to struggle. Please tell me so I that will go for MCA or Btech from distance course while working. I have bsc graduation degree in non math background.
Hi Vivek, there are two parts of it, one is gaining knowledge and other is getting interview calls. If you are from some good university with BTECH/MBA etc then getting calls for interview becomes easier. For your type profile, try to do a masters may be MBA or Masters in statistics/Master in mathematics etc Then you should target for some small scale company for getting first job. This can give direction to your career.

To be very honest, i think this man is teaching in a far better manner more than some big techie guys. Kudos bro, you are too good
Thanks Shubham, your comments keep me going.
Without wasting time of the user you concentrate on explaining the concept. Really appreciate the commendable selfless work that you are doing.
Thanks Monika.
This guy has explained Calculus in a very easy and fundamental form!
Thanks william
since my primary, secondary and University it is the first time I am understand and clear where these two concept are used
Excellent !! Thanks for making me understand the concept which I learnt blindly in school days..
Thanks a lot :)
Super sir. Everyone is telling what to learn and how to learn, you opened a way and said what is the use of learning maths for D.S. Thankyou
Welcome Venkat.
Excellent explanation, I was looking for all these info at one place for so long :)
My pleasure. Stay tuned for more videos :)
I have gained a lot of knowledge from this video it actually helped my scattered brain!!

Thanks Keerthana.
Thanks for stuff, where finding on Internet is very difficult! 🔥
Happy to help!
Thank You so much. It helped me very much. 😘

X squared is a even function right ...so it's symmetrical about the y axis , if so then how can curve have different slopes ? Can u please clarify
Amazing video Aman, thank u so much :)

From ba background should i go fior Data science
Sir I have 0 knowledge of calculus and want to know calculus as much as I need for data science

Hi Deb, Please watch a video called "study plan for data science" on my UA-cam channel. It will give u answer of lot of your questions for sure.
Plz teach chain rule
Chain Rule I think I covered in one of the video, not able to recollect, however I will note this topic.
again so nice explanation !!
Thanks again!
what does the area conclude which u have calculated using integration?
I mean to say, in business, what does it indicate or tell?
Many places it is used, for example probability density
Good one!
Thank you
Sir how x square here is converted to x cube/3 in Integration part?
Thank you
Thanks Karan. Happy learning. Tc
Very nice explanation :)
Thank you so much Gopi :)
Nice video subbed. Please make videos on partial derivative refresher. As it is widely used to differentiate loss function.
Thanks Aditya For your feedback. yes noted the topic.
How much calculus would you say is necessary for a career in data science? I keep hearing DiffEQ and linear algebra, which is calculus 1-4 :-O
To start with understanding differentiation, integration, maxima, minima, optimization etc are sufficient in calculus.
Loved your explanation.
I have a request. Plz sequence ur playlists. So we can easily follow which playlist to learn first. Thank you.

Thank you sir.

Is this much enough calculus to pass the data science admission test ?
sir, can you plz tell me what is the use of that 2x derivatives ?
If the second-order derivative value is positive, then the graph of a function is upwardly concave. If the second-order derivative value is negative, then the graph of a function is downwardly open.

@@UnfoldDataScience ohk sir thank you ..!
please make a video on backpropagation!!!
Hi Ragul, yes I will do that in my deep learning videos. Thanks for the feedback.
Feel Free to post doubts guys

How can we use calculus in programming?
Hi Manas, when you call some ML algorithm, calculus will be invoked internally.
can i learn Calculus and Statistics at the same time ? thanks b4.
Yes, absolutely
Hiii is this enough to crack data science apptitude test?
Not enough but important calculus topics are covered here
I never expected that calculus is also imp for ML.................
Thanks Nizam :)
Post your doubts in comment section please.

Sir in parabola...P1 willbe x, x^2 and not x, y^2
By the way , your explanations are superb sir !
y=f(x)=x^2 for parabola
Thanks a lot. Keep watching :)
Thanks for feedback :)
i dont understand the last calculation as yiu said you would remember from school from 12.58
Ok Ashish, let me see that one once.
Hi.
Can you also please explain the Maximum Likelihood Estimation?
Thanks in advance.
