Ezra's scariest moment: Season Three, Episode One, when he makes a scout walker pilot murder four stormtroopers and then commit suicide. "When did Kanan teach you that?" "He didn't." Then they go on like nothing happened. The scene was meant to show Ezra is powerful Jedi now, albeit a mostly untutored one. But holy cow! I don't remember Obi-Wan Kenobi inducing any murder suicides. They actually made me feel bad for the stormtroopers he killed. That scene and his later adventures with the purrgils show that Ezra has enormous potential, and if I was a Jedi I'd be thinking the force had big plans for him. Not so much during the civil war, but possibly in the era we're starting to see now.
LOVED Rebels. Thanks for the recap. Personally I never saw the WbWorlds as "time travel" in the episode. That place was 'outside' of our concept of time. Between. Heh. Ezra was able pull Ahsoka out because there wasn't a paradox for her. She wouldn't go with him because she knew that would break things and returned through her own portal...to where and when she had left. Ezra was SMART not to try and return to his parents because (if it were even possible) that would break things as well. Also, I've watched the episodes several times and while you guys said she died, we never SAW her die and the continuity was there showing her going INTO the temple at the end of the episode after the Vader fight. Time travel is sticky, but they didn't introduce any paradoxes so I bought it.
I'm betting Ezra will be kind of like C'Baoth... he really struggled with the Dark Side, and having only Thrawn next to him this whole time in unknown space may have changed him. Ezra may want to help Thrawn save the galaxy from a greater threat
