Again! I know it's picture discs. They are not for everyone. After listening to the whole entire box set yesterday (yes every album). They all sound fantastic. No issues in that regard. I am happy with my purchase and just wanted to show it off and let people know it's out there.
If you like Black Sabbath you might also like the first four albums by Marillion. They're atmospherically and lyrically connected in a way, and since you collect vinyl you might find that tip useful. Got all Sabbath albums on CDs except for Never Say Die which I recently purchased on vinyl coz it's a one off and it didn't fit into my CD rack. I've played it a lot. Enjoy your Sabbath collection. It looks smashing. 👍😊

I bought this when it came out. Great box set and I had no issues with mine either. Black sabbath is my favorite band of time.
My box set sounds really good!!!!, all my records doesn't have clicks, no pops and the SQ is pretty good!!!. Another lucky and happy guy 😊

Don't listen to The Haters!! Out of all The Sabbath Deluxe Box sets Technical Ecstasy is The Best, it's just really well put together The New Mix by Steven Wilson is Awesome, It's made me change how I listen to Technical Ecstasy completely!! 🤘

I bought the black sabbath ozzy years CD Boxset "Black Box" years back and it is still one of my favorite Box sets. Came with a great hardcover book also. Highly recommend for the CD collectors out there.
Sabotage is probably my most jammed overall. Hole in the Sky is just such a sic opener. But i honestly can't choose a favorite. All 8 are so good and unique.
I agree Technical Ecstacy is underrated. IMO same with Never Say Die. Both have truly great tracks!!! Definitely more dynamic guitar playing happening on those last 2 records. And cmon who doesn't wanna hear great musicians in the throes of addiction? Hahahaha I know I do! 🤣

The top of surrealism: people who loves Black Sabbath complaining because other people who loves Black Sabbath buy a Black Sabbath boxset.
Be careful about buying the sabotage box set
The live recording is noticeably compressed, at least on CD. It does include some songs live that were downtuned from the studio recordings, like Black Sabbath and War Pigs.
But there is a poster and US tour program included along with the hardback book
Ignore The Lot Of Them...Bugger Them...I Think U Made A Splendid Purchase...I Shan't Be Digging In U...I Think The Picture Disc Concept Is A Splendid Idea...Something Different...If It Were Just Standard Black Vinyl~It Would Be Kinda Boring~And Like Rebuying The Original LPs...

Nice box with great records but why picture discs?? Black vinyl would have been better Picture discs are too hang on the wall Not play!!
Very noisy tracking, and lotsa pops / clicks on 1st play, and still noisy after cleaning. Returned them for a refund. Worst sounding new records I've ever purchased. Shame on you for not disclosing how badly they sound !
Mine sound fine. It happens with vinyl. Not every pressing is equal. I’ve listened to them several times and never had any of those issues. Shame on you for not understanding vinyl pressings vary.
@@MelanieLovesDeathMetalAmong audiophiles sound is important. Here in Canada, Warner Music has been really distributing some really crappy vinyl. I got used vinyl over 40 yrs old that sounds better than this garbage picture disc pressings. There's no excuse for multi billion dollar music co. creating this level of crap quality vinyl.
Buying the exact same product in a different package over and over again is a waste of money.

Awesome looking box set. I am not a huge picture disc fan, so probably wouldn't jump on this - though they would be cool for display. Growing up in the 80's, pic discs were blah, but looked cool, but modern ones do sound much better. I'm slowly becoming a sucker for the box set world too. I couldn't find it on Amazon either. Figured if it did show up there, maybe one day they'd have a blow out sale at a greatly reduced price - then I may pounce. :)
How about sound quality ? Are they noisy grooves ?
I like when box sets throw in live tracks or an entire live show.

picture discs are badass
The original KISS solo albums were all black with their faces in the middle and the kiss logo on one side and band members name on other.The back was the song list.From what you showed it doesnt look that much different. Im just curious if they came with the posters.And the only ones out of the four that are good are Aces and Pauls,Genes is alright but peters is horrendous.But anyway back to SABBATH.Awesome box set if i didnt already have the other rhino set, which by the way came with four progams and a bonus disc of single versions i would pick this up.
Thanks for the video. I'm glad they sound great, my Bowie picture discs sound terrible but Sabbath is my favorite band of all time so I'll trust your opinion on the sound thank you.
