I learned a lot about bees just by watching a couple if your videos. I have a brand new respect for bees thanks to you! I will show some of the videos to the kids I know because it's fun to watch and much to learn. Thanks 🐝❤🐝
I really miss flying with my dad. His diabetes got all out of whack and he couldn't pass the physical and then he just never went back. I've been thinking about getting my license so we can go back up. Some great memories 😍
I bet your dad would love that! You should definitely get your license and bring him up. That would be sweet! Just the thought of him bringing you up as a child then as an adult you bringing him up brings tears to my eyes 😭. Passing the torch from father to child 🛫
I think sometimes, he should write a disclaimer or something, like "kids, don't so this at home". Since not every bee with honey is so cool with human, like his bees. Or, a tutorial. I've never found his video about tutorial yet.
I really enjoy watching you doing a favour to mother nature, but man I sometimes wish you would show us more. Where do you bring them? Do you take care of the bees you safe? Is there a big farm with over hundreds of thousands of bees? idk I would like to see more backround stuff if you know what I mean :) But anyways, I really enjoy your vids
I love bees. They're amazing. I'm watching these videos with my kids so we can all learn and they can see how amazing bees are. I'm hoping at some point that we can get bees to keep ourselves. I think it'd be awesome to capture a swarm.
Great job. I’m a novice beekeeper here in the Birmingham area. If you ever find yourself needing any help, I’d be glad to help out and learn a few things.
Wow! What a trip! Now that you’re a pilot is there a chance you could borrow your friend’s plane and fly us over to see OkieRob for a weekend? This is your best video yet.
I'm afraid if we did we may never get to leave. Okie Rob thinks everything in his yard needs to be tinkered with and he may try his hand as an airplane mechanic. That or his bees will swarm on it. Ain't sure which one yet.
*close up on bees* Me- "Oh, they sound pissed. But they probably are just a bunch of bees buzzing around the camera. I'm sure they are friendly little cuties!" Yappy- "There's our bee's and they're pissed." Me- "oh"
Would be absolutely mental to put a box of bees in an airplane haha. To be fair this is coming from a pilot who flew through a swarm of bees about 200 feet before landing and aborted the landing because a few ended up getting in the plane, safe to say im horrified of them.
@@goodolearkygal5746 It has been caught once before by a beekeeper and marked with a paint dot. Then put into a beekeepers hive. It must have swarmed out and got to the new location to build a new hive.
Oh, yeah - "Bees In A Plane." The next Samuel L. Jackson horror movie, he got the snakes out, and now there's a zillion bees! All on the inside! Another budget thriller, coming soon! And hey, you load up a Piper with a swarm of honeybees - WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG!!🙂
Just curious... Why not @ night when all of the bees are sleepin'? Every hive removal I've seen has been during the daylight hours. Is it that "I ain't skeert" or is there a good reason (that I just don't reckon)
@@YappyBeeman Interesting! I know it's always easier to work in daylight, but I made an uninformed assumption that bees return to the hive each night, and were much less active... "..A** outta you and me..." it's true. LOL!
Not really. Great question actually. Some removers will get bees at night. Advantage is that they are all back in the hive. So you essentially get them all. But, bees are attracted to go to light so it makes it a bit harder in my opinion to remove them if you need a light to see them. They also don't fly well at night. So....they crawl all over ya. It's also very much harder to video it. I like my natural light to record by.
It's really the sound they make that scares me the most about them if they didn't make that buzzing sound they sound angry I don't think I'd be as scared of them but that sound just does it to me freaks me out specially when they fly close by and I hear it right next to my ear. 😳 Also is honeycomb always this way I always thought it was a yellow color this looks so white
I have no doubt you could do it Yappy. I've got gammy legs, scared the begeezus out of my instructor, but if I can learn, anyone can. Just try it, you'll like it. Nothing like conducting a controlled collision with the ground at 60 knots, lol.
I would think you should have a big airy mesh zippered bag and put the box of bees in there temporarily for the short flight. So you can see them through it and they can fly a bit, but not throughout the cabin 😊
Yep. The powder puff version of sugar. They will eat on it for a few days but then it gets mushy and they don't touch it. But it makes for a good emergency sub if needed.
Their honeycomb looks so clean, it almost looks man made... that’s crazy. I never realized that their comb looked that clean.
I feel that way every time I see white comb. I'm just kinda amazed by it

Not sure how i found your channel but i really like how passionate and positive you are about each day.
Good job Yappy, enjoyed it, looked like you had fun being a human drone for the day. 🤘🐝
And I lived to tell the tale. Better than your avg drone. I'm a super drone

I love the brand new comb, it makes the very best lip balm!
That looks like a nice airplane. I should have kept on taking flying lessons. Did you have fun? Good job!
What an AMAZING video!!!!!!!! From big white puffy clouds, to all that purdy white fresh new comb. Holy cow man!! Nice work & fantastic editing 🐝☮️☯️
Those camera transitions when you were sticking your hand through the vent !!! Epic, LOL

Yappy Beeman , local airport doesn't have any fuel so bring extra. I think there's a wind sock but no buildings .
That was a subtle hint!
Always love watching your videos. Im a first year beekeeper and learn a lot from your videos, not quite brave enough to ditch my bee veil yet.
Wow, airplane ride and bees what a day! Now that will put a smile on your face!nice video!
It definitely did. One of the best times I e ever had involving bees.

To me, it doesn't matter how old an airplane is, as long as it's well maintained I'm getting in!
Thanks for another cool video.
I'm here because of the shoutout from JPthebeeman. Best wishes, Yappy.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed and stick around. More crazy fun to come.
This is so informative. Fascinating bees.
I love watching you work!! It's
Frightening.. I see you got the
white stuff out. Is that where the honey is?? Did u try that amazing

that's so cool! I've always dreamed of flying a plane

You must have put it right next to mine. I did the same. Not a fan of heights at all!
@@YappyBeeman When I got out of the Army I decided then and there IF I ever flew again it'd be with one foot on the ground.
Hey, yeah you haven’t seen any new videos lately miss you all the way from Canada🇨🇦
Have you ever found a marked queen when you've done a removal? I've done half a dozen removals and have yet to find a marked one.
I've found 5 out of about 900.... I always laugh when I do but never tell a customer. It wouldn't matter either way but still funny to me.
What's a marked queen mean?

Enjoy your humor too Yappy 🐝
7:29 Bees! Get your fresh bees by the fistful! Amazing.
nice video
What do you do with the bee's after removed?? Just found your channel, new subscriber...love it!!
The bees are put into hives where they can continue naturally making honey and just being bees.
Wow! Looked like you scared them into that box. They were running in! You need orange marshmallows.
Did any of the ladies throw up during the flight back ? Did you have enough sick-bags for the flight ?
Only needed one sick bag for the ride but never used it. I think the girls were in their element.
i just love that bee march
I wonder do he spray himself with something to keep from getting on him
That solid white comb look so freakin beautiful 😍
Amazing!
Just curious... Why not @ night when all of the bees are sleepin'? Every hive removal I've seen has been during the daylight hours. Is it that "I ain't skeert" or is there a good reason (that I just don't reckon)
Because, bees don't go to sleep at night. And it's dark.

Yappy - beeman of the jet set. Get a little fame and forget about all of us grounded people. Will there be Tee shirts?
There may be tshirts but undergarments are out.
@@YappyBeeman THAT's a relief!

I fully respect that. I will deal with bees if you keep watching. Everyone's happier that way. Lol
I made a l shaped tool to cut comb from a chimney. then I caught them as they fell.
Dang that wax looks pure.
Very new.
You just plucking them out the air now?
Like a BOSS!!!!
Yap to the rescue!
Nice airplane. Meanwhile I'm here putting water in my shampoo bottles so they last longer.
A couple of ounces of sealant around that dryer vent would have been worth pounds of cure... LOL
But then what fun would I have had .....

Keep the bee removing up yappy not the flying keep your feet planted firmly on the ground LoL 🐝🐝🍯❤️

Nah, they actually hate me but have realized like most men I won't really listen so they just ignore me now. Lol.
Fresh Bees!
what a messy spot for them to bee in with all that asbestos
It wasn't asbestos. This house was built 5 years before this video was made. That material was banned for use long before that.
LOL "5 min in-depth training on how to fly a plane"
Flying is easy, taking off is relatively easy, it is landing that takes a bloody lot of skill, lmao!!
